I lost my job as a teacher, I'm SO UPSET

Good morning!

Losing your job, no matter what job it was creates raw real pain.

But what are you meant to do?

I'm going to read you a letter the Rebbe wrote to a woman who lost her job as a teacher. Paraphrasing from the original:

I confirm receipt of your letter, in which you write about the events that happened concerning your position, and how now you're without a job.

Life doesn't always go along a straight path.
Man wants to ascend, and he can, and that very desire and ability creates the possibility for a descent.

You needn't be flustered or upset when you see yourself fall.

This is especially true when the fall was only physical, and how much more so in your case, where your dismissal was not because of you.

Instead of feeling bad, this descent has to do the opposite. It must evoke within your deepest and most profound strengths, of faith and trust in G-d. These inner strengths find expression in the sentiment of courage, without drama and getting emotional from this unpleasant experience. Especially as this is ONLY for a very short time.
I have written to some people involved in education about you, I hope that in a VERY short while they'll be able to take care of you, of course if your willing.
With blessing for success in your holy work, education.
