SPEAKER_00:

Welcome everyone.

SPEAKER_06:

This is sweet, baby J. What you just said written on paper.

SPEAKER_04:

This is my biggest fire I've ever seen in my life.

SPEAKER_03:

This is great.

SPEAKER_01:

After this, I'm gonna get off here and I'm gonna drag it then.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, this is the Eric. Yeah. At least I know two plus two is five. And this is the FJ podcast.

SPEAKER_06:

So we'll go ahead and dive in. Everybody knows the topic for today, yeah?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. The two episodes of Stranger Things. The two episodes of Stranger Things. Or I'm sorry, the three episodes.

SPEAKER_06:

You were so close. Yeah, I was. Swing in the mesh. Um, okay, so we're just gonna dive right in. So, without further ado. Welcome back to another beautiful episode of the FMJ podcast where we make all your wireless fantasies come true. I'm just kidding, we don't do that unless you take me out to the ball game, take me out to the crowd.

SPEAKER_03:

Buying some peanuts and cracker jacks.

SPEAKER_06:

Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks. I don't even care if I ever come back. That's called kidnapping. Right? No, you're right. You're right.

SPEAKER_03:

They were promoting because it was bad. I don't care if I ever come back.

SPEAKER_06:

Well, I don't care if I ever come back. You're promoting getting kidnapped. That's crazy work.

SPEAKER_03:

Right. Wait, wait until the Me Too movement hears about this.

SPEAKER_06:

Right, right. They will absolutely have something to say about it. How dare they promote this song that promotes kidnapping? I don't care if I never come back.

SPEAKER_03:

So let's talk about just real quick. Let's talk about the song Baby Is Caught Outside. We should ask the question, what's in my drink? I don't take it as like a roofie question. I take it as, what am I drinking? Like, what did I get?

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Like, like it's I took it the other way. That's like, hey, this tastes weird. Did you fucking drug me?

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, well, well, that's what that's what that's how they got the song cancelled is hey, do you drug me? No, but the whole idea is when the song was made for the time, it was it would be it would be looked at as promiscuous with what she was doing with the guy at his home. Now, there's no clarification if either of them are married or anything like that, but the idea is that back then it was looked down upon that women do what they do now, go out and have fun, right? Like that's that's right, that's just bottom line, point blank. That's what that is. That's why she says, Oh, what's in this drink? Like, it's a little bit stronger, like I might be a little bit buzzed, so you know, it's just kind of being played. I took it as a yeah, it's supposed to be a back, it's supposed to be a back and forth banter of like, you know, hey, I'm into you, and she's into it as well, but playing hard to get because that's how they were supposed to play back in the day, right? Like, you were supposed to, there's supposed to be a chase, there's supposed to be a little cat and mouse type deal, right? All of a sudden they're like, he roofied her.

SPEAKER_02:

And I'm like, I'm like, come on, man. All right, so, anyways, anyways, no, I get it, I get it.

SPEAKER_06:

You gotta get that off our chest. So with that, with with that, um, let's go around the room, get some pulses real quick. Let's start with Templeton. What's up? What's your pulse look like, bruh?

SPEAKER_00:

Buddy, I'm not as solid like 88.

SPEAKER_06:

Solid 88? Uh-oh. Uh-oh. If Grizz were here, he and we can't we can't say that. Hang on, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. We can't say that. We can't say that.

unknown:

What?

SPEAKER_06:

We can't say that. You can't say that. Bro, you can't to to Yeti to Yeti. That's fighting words. Those fighting words to Yeti. Uh uh Templeton, I don't know if you were here for that conversation, but yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I might have been sleeping.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, there was a whole discussion about why the number 88 is, I guess, can't be used anymore. So fast in the Fast and the Furies. I said fast and the Furies. I was gonna say back to the future now has to be canceled because the DeLorean has to get to 88 miles per hour, but apparently they're shouting uh uh uh something that rhymes with fail Schmittler. So, you know.

SPEAKER_04:

What about the crazy idiot?

SPEAKER_03:

Because it's the eighth letter of the alphabet is H. So when you when you're looking at tattoos, again, they may not eighty eight somewhere.

SPEAKER_06:

It rhymes with it rhymes with indicates it rhymes with fail schmittler. That's that's what it rhymes with.

SPEAKER_03:

That's gross.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, we're not gonna be. I'm being serious.

SPEAKER_03:

Working at the jail, you would see that kind of stuff.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, that's what he learned in his time behind bars on the other side of the bars, right? On the other side of the bars.

SPEAKER_03:

How do we tattoo?

SPEAKER_00:

Let's remind you all that like Yeti is a is is a felon.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, he's a he's a hardcore felon. It's a type of felon, the type of felon that that wears a badge.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, to be, no, is is Rick Ross a felon? Uh I don't know. Probably. I don't think he is. He was a corrections officer. I know that. Well, that's not my point, though. If he was and he's and he's a felon, well then. Ricky Rose. Ricky Rose. Did I ever tell you guys? Just because he was fucking corrections officer doesn't mean he was like not hustling the shit.

SPEAKER_00:

What about my jones? What about my jones? Who? Who?

SPEAKER_06:

Sorry, you must have cut out. I didn't hear what you said. Anyway, um, so it's Ableton. Uh chill 88. I mean 87 is what I'll go with since we're not allowed to use 88 anymore. Um, but no, that's cool.

SPEAKER_05:

6-7. 6-7.

SPEAKER_06:

But everything cool with you?

SPEAKER_00:

Any new games to play or or uh no, I mean I've the games I've been playing lately are Stardew Valley.

SPEAKER_06:

Ooh, okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Fun game. Kind of uh I I don't know. Like if you haven't played it, it's hard to explain.

SPEAKER_06:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

And then also, um Elden Ring.

SPEAKER_06:

Elden Ring. That's a good one.

SPEAKER_00:

Which makes me angry.

SPEAKER_06:

Uh yeah, well. You asked.

SPEAKER_03:

There's so much to learn in Elden Ring, and they really don't and they don't hold your hand, and it's frustrating.

SPEAKER_06:

Right. Right. But that is kind of that's kind of the allure to it, right? Like a lot of people enjoy the fact that they don't just babysit you as you play the game. They're like, go figure it out yourself.

SPEAKER_04:

You're gonna die a lot.

SPEAKER_06:

In your quest to figure out just how to play the game, you're gonna die a lot. But it's gonna be fun, I promise. I promise. That's the thing, as long as it's a good time while you're you know replaying, you know, live, die, repeat style, um there should really be no issue. But no, that's cool, that's cool, that's cool.

SPEAKER_00:

When it comes to gaming, if it's too easy, I don't like it. If it's too hard, I don't like it.

SPEAKER_07:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

There has to be a like a middle ground. Yeah. But I found it when I was playing Legos. Yeah, that's it. Lego Batman.

SPEAKER_06:

When I was playing Lego Batman, that was that was that was a middle ground. Well, that's cool. Is that that the only two games that you're focused on right now?

SPEAKER_00:

Basically, yeah. I gotcha.

SPEAKER_06:

Well, um, let us know how that goes. Keep up keep up the good work with Elden Ring, because I know that can be uh that can be a task all by itself. So um if you if you do get a chance though, uh if you want to come back to Borderlands for Yeti and I are waiting. We're waiting.

SPEAKER_00:

You guys let me know. Because you guys know how much I love Borderlands.

SPEAKER_06:

Wait. I mean, it's a solid game. It it truly is. Do I have some thoughts? Sure, because this is the first game that I feel like you don't you don't really level up. You just kind of like you just get stronger stuff. Like I I don't feel like the character themselves. Now, unless you get the right build, which Yeti and I were playing, that's a whole that's a whole nother conversation in itself.

SPEAKER_03:

But you're actually dipping into my uh how so I'll I'll I'll pin that.

SPEAKER_06:

I'll pin that and let Yeti have that discussion. But overall, it's a fun game. I think it's a fun game. I'm having fun uh doing doing what I'm doing. Again, there are some things that are that that take some getting used to. There's a learning curve because they've done things a little bit differently. The map, um, how you explore. I know that they said they didn't want you to live in the map, which totally get. I I've gotten very used to just utilizing the little bar at the top rather than you know opening the map every five seconds. Now, the only time I ever do that is when I'm like, okay, do we want to fast travel real quick? Do we want to fast travel to this area, that area, how we want to do it? I I I be asking Yeti all the time, you want to walk, you want to fast travel?

SPEAKER_03:

When you start playing the game and you realize like you're walking and you gotta walk like a uh a thousand meters or two thousand meters, like you can do it within a few seconds or within a couple minutes. The problem is is during that travel, there's enemies. Bad guys, pocket of enemies, loot, enemies, uh enemies uh riff champions that pop up. Loot. Ooh, it's just like your fucking travel that should take like two minutes now takes three hours. Two hours.

SPEAKER_06:

It's a three-hour tour. It literally is three hours.

SPEAKER_03:

So like, and like and it's funny because okay, but hold on, hold on, hold on. Ask me, ask me my pulse before I continue on.

SPEAKER_06:

Okay, okay. Before we move on, Templeton. I'm glad I'm I'm glad you're having fun with your games. But like I said, let us know. Um, Yeti, what's your pulse look like? I'm I bet it's high because of Borderlands 4.

SPEAKER_03:

1126. Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_06:

What? Oh, that's that's that's that's the first day of next year. That's exactly what he went with. He did 1-1-26. That's what he did. But why though? Because why not? We're uh we're almost there, but you know what? So close, so close. Hopefully, hopefully next year Yeti will get this right.

SPEAKER_03:

Right. Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully next year Yeti will get this right. So I'm gonna study big time. Thank you. All right, so how how am I doing? Uh, I'm doing fantastic. We just had obviously we just had Christmas. Um, one of the biggest moments right now for me is just watching my daughter grow. Yep.

SPEAKER_00:

I mean, I was getting ready to ask like, how is baby Yeti doing?

SPEAKER_03:

And I mean, she's doing great. I mean, you can just see her, like her involvement. And the crazy thing is, like, she gets so locked in on people, on what you're doing, and and she doesn't she doesn't she doesn't have any emotion about it, but she just you can see her just learning. And when we started getting around to presence and stuff like that, like she goes to daycare, she's been in daycare since she was six weeks old, okay? So she's now five months old. So there's a lot of development at the community center with them, you know, engaging her with and and especially and at home as well. But like they do a lot of stuff like playing with pat paper, playing with snow. So, like, she when she's seen the wrapping paper, she realized, oh, that's paper, I can pull it, I can yank on it. And like, I know she knows she's not opening the gift, she's ripping the paper, yeah, but it just it appears that she's opening the gift. And at five months old, that just I don't I don't know. To me, it just seems like that's amazing. And it's just it's it's a joy to watch, it's a joy to to interact with her, and I love her to death, and I love my wife to death, and it is what it is. So besides that, the one thing that I've been doing to keep my uh my uh my my busy fingers you know occupied is I've been playing Borderlands, okay? And again, I said this before Borderlands is an awesome game for me with having a kid because I'm able to play it and I can play in short intervals. If it's five minutes here, five minutes there, like yeah, that's annoying, but at least I'm able to game a little bit because when the daughter starts crying or my wife needs help, I can simply just hit pause and and go about what needs to be done. If I'm playing Call of Duty, if I'm playing anything else, it requires full attention, 15-20 minute matches. If if I'm playing uh Battle Royale Fortnite, it's you know 30 minutes, depending on what happens during the game. Yep. Um so Borderlands for the win all day, every day.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

100% agree o'clock. And I never reached out to him, so it could be failure to communicate. He could have been on doing something else, but I got on at 10 o'clock because I said I was, and he never got on. And I was like, you know what? Fine, fuck it. I'm gonna use this time to just fucking loot gear, fucking find shit. I need to make my character stronger because here's what happened for whatever reason, every time I would level up, my character tree, the skill tree would fucking reset. So instead of getting a point, if I went to 37, I would have 37 points to redistribute. Well, when I got to 50, I had closed out the article I was using to kind of build my character off of to kind of help me because I was trying to do it quickly instead of reading each and everything. So I was calling kind of following someone else's build. And that build was working for me. My guns were effective, my my my my my my action skill was effective. Well, it reset, I lost that page. Long story short, I then had to read everything, and I just I was in a rush and I just did not skill tree my character right. So now my guns and shit are just fucking horrible. Um, I need to take the time to redo that, but I haven't gotten there yet. But but between yesterday from like I think I got on at like nine and I got off about 12, 12:30, I was looting and I and I finally got some stuff that makes me feel a little bit better about my character. Okay. I found two of them fucking fireworks shields.

SPEAKER_06:

Oh, oh, the missiles, yeah, yeah, yeah. See, listen, and it though that shield is beautiful because it's like I'll while while while I'm like my after like the first kill, I'm just pretty much on cruise control, like that the rest of the fight. Because it's like it'll kill one and then spawn more, and then it'll just like hop, and it'll just be a domino effect. And all I'm doing is just like softening them up so like the missiles come and it's like it's a kill no matter what.

SPEAKER_03:

So I so here's what I got. I found okay, so where you find this shield at, I don't know how strong yours is. There's a boss in splash zone. It's in the very, very, very beginning. It's like one of the main bosses as soon as you enter the map.

SPEAKER_07:

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

He's the one that drops the fireworks shield. I learned this.

SPEAKER_07:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

And you can you can it cost 30,000 to redo the game, right? Right. When you kill him, he drops probably about anywhere between five to ten guns. Okay. Ranging from whatever colors. Yeah. There's three legendaries he will drop. He will drop a grenade, which is like a uh like a like a blubbery jelly or something like that, and it makes like farting noises when you throw it.

SPEAKER_06:

Of course.

SPEAKER_03:

It's fucking hilarious.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, because fart jokes are funny.

SPEAKER_03:

Right. The the fireworks shield, and then he drops a shotgun. Okay. I I I tested the the the grenade. What it's good, but I think the one that I have is a little bit better. Yeah. So I'm saying with that grenade. So the shotgun fires its missile, fires this thing, and then when it hits, it it causes fireworks or it causes more like a rain of grenades to come down. Yep. So I've got this firework backpack, I got this shotgun, and I've got this grenade that when I throw it, it goes in three different directions toward closest enemies, giving them shock. So it is just my screen is going crazy with explosion. Like Christmas lights. This is what Jeremy plays. Yeah, this is what I was missing. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06:

So yeah, so I like I'm super happy. I get it, because Templeton, every time he joined me to game, he would die like instantly. Like like when we were playing yesterday. When we were playing yesterday. Welcome in, Grizz! When we were playing yesterday together, it was it was kind of funny because it was like I was I was trying to keep I was trying to keep him alive in one of the in one of the little matches. It was too damn funny. Because I was like, like, like it can you hear him? What? Yeti?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I can hear him, but you're talking.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, what's up, Democrats?

SPEAKER_00:

I'm just saying, like, you said you had a limited amount of time. We should probably get on topic.

SPEAKER_06:

No, well, um right. I'm I'm wrapping up the thought right now. The the the idea that but like the idea last night was like he kept dropping every time he'd get into the fight, and I'm like, well shit, then I gotta turn around, revive him. And then I was like, well, if this is gonna happen, I busted out my shotgun, and it's like because my shotgun like does crazy damage, and one critical hit, boom, done, clear. And so I busted out the shotgun to keep him alive, and that's how that that's how that went. It was kind of funny, but he's lost a lot of money playing with me, and I feel bad. Yeah, and I wish I could share, I wish I could share my cash with you.

SPEAKER_03:

Here's the thing though running that splash zone, because I did it. I mean, I probably I want to say I probably did it for like two hours. Yeah. No, maybe not, maybe like an hour, maybe like an hour. It was like a straight hour. Because like all you do is like there's a there's a gun machine, and then Moxie's like replay the mission, right? Yes, and you and right to the left, there's like a little bridge. You gotta jump over the bridge and you go into the dome where he spawns.

SPEAKER_07:

Yep.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, once you kill him, all you have to do is turn around, go to the the the entrance, and just double jump back up to the machine and thing. So the guns he would drop would be on average about 50,000 worth. It only costs 30,000 to fucking play replay it.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

So I'm now back up to 60,000. Well, good. Because of doing this. So I feel better there. So, like, okay, I just gotta respec my character and empty out my backpack. Yeah, I gotta empty out my backpack.

SPEAKER_06:

That's the biggest thing. That's the biggest thing. So right, right, right. But I'm glad I'm glad you found what up, hellfire, Hellfire Club. Yeah, he he doesn't have his he doesn't have his ears on yet. Um, but I'm glad that you've um that you've found uh something like uh weapons to help you out on Borderlands 4.

SPEAKER_03:

Can't wait to link up with you to show you all this fun stuff that I have.

SPEAKER_06:

I'm excited to see it. So um Grizz, I know you're a little late, better late than never, but since you came in, uh, real quick, what's your pulse look like?

SPEAKER_01:

Dude, my pulse is looking like dunna dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun. I'm so excited for season five. Dude. Yes, yes, yes. I got my full Munson outfit on. I got the rebox. I see that. I see that. Yeah, bro. This one's for you, Eddie.

SPEAKER_06:

Man, if I if I'd have known if I'd have known that, I'd have put my dustin shirt on. Like I could. It's sitting right over here. I can throw it on real quick. Um, but no, uh that that's good. That's good. Uh welcome in. Um so so you you do know what the topic is, right? Um of course. Okay, just want to make sure. All right. So we're gonna dive into entertainment news real quick. Um a couple of things. I don't know if y'all remember, but you remember when uh uh uh Netflix uh bought Warner Brothers? Well, was working on buying Warner Brothers? Paramount Skydance came in and made a bid uh in an effort to perform a hostile takeover and buy WB out from under Netflix, right? For 108 billion dollars is what Paramount offered. And WB said, nah, we good. Really? Can you imagine passing up 108 billion dollars? I'll just leave that there for you. Just let that marinate for a moment. But apparently, Warner Brothers feels that their their vision and their interests align more with Netflix rather than Paramount uh Skydance. So they said, We're cool, bro. Yep, they WB said we're cool, bro. We're gonna stick with Netflix. So Netflix and and Warner Brothers are going to be essentially, you know, they'll they'll be closing that deal. And Sony bought Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the Peanuts in a$460 million deal. So we'll see what they do with that. I would assume we're we're gonna get a lot more um what you call it, uh uh peanuts movies and stuff like that. So so we'll see uh we'll see how that goes.

SPEAKER_00:

Um that Netflix canceled the live action cowboy bebop.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, I remember that. I remember that. I remember that catastrophe when they when they decided to set up a season two beautifully, and they're like, you know what? Just like its anime predecessor, you're only getting one season. And I'm like, you know what? Fuck you, Netflix.

SPEAKER_00:

It would be really like weird and and unusual if like some random person just started trolling them about that.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what? It would it would be funny, but absolutely worth it. You know what I'm saying? Like it's it's it's well deserved. It's well deserved for what Netflix does.

SPEAKER_00:

Maybe some heroes should do that.

SPEAKER_06:

Not all heroes wear capes, some heroes troll Netflix. Uh so anyway, um with that, with with that, Yeti. Yo, I think you have a you should have a Reddit story or some some something to do with Reddit.

SPEAKER_03:

Holy shit, we're already there?

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, we're already there. I told you we're moving. We're moving, baby. We're moving today.

SPEAKER_01:

We're moving, baby. We are the home club. This is the functor. This is not our first crawl, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_06:

Hey, hey, hang on, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. You gotta do it right. You gotta do it right, okay? For the joke, because not everybody knows. Not everybody knows.

SPEAKER_00:

For the gram.

SPEAKER_06:

For the gram. Pick a number between one through one million five hundred five.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm just kidding. I'm joking. Go ahead. Templeton, number through one through one million five hundred and fifty-five seven hundred and sixty-two.

SPEAKER_00:

I would say two eight one three oh eight zero. Wrong.

SPEAKER_03:

One one two eight eight zero three four. Wow. Oh, well, that didn't work. No, he did it. Yeah, look at that. The ad. Yeah, they're an asshole. Moving on. Yeah, assholes. We'll throw it up again. It's another ad. He got added. No way. Okay. We'll throw it again. Another ad.

SPEAKER_02:

There we go. There we go.

SPEAKER_05:

That would be wild. I'd be like, okay, am I the asshole?

SPEAKER_01:

All right.

SPEAKER_03:

So long.

SPEAKER_01:

Just that's what she said.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, am I the asshole? What a joke.

SPEAKER_06:

That's what you say.

SPEAKER_03:

My sister, 27, 27 female, and her longtime partner, 37 male, recently got engaged on a five-star, all-inclusive family holiday that my parents paid for. Oh, that would have been sick. Yeah. They paid for the holiday for all of us as a treat, special occasion, as my sister had a baby in February, so it would be his first holiday. Since I was young, my parents have always been very clear with both of us that they would never pay for either of our weddings and that we could just have the wedding. Wait, we could afford. However, okay, so they said that they would never pay for either of our weddings and that we could have the wedding that we could afford. However, after their engagements, my parents told my sister and their and her partner that they would contribute a large sum that they would that they could get married sooner if they had saved up the money to do themselves. They did this because the baby was the last has the last name of his as his dad. My parents know my that my sister would love to have the same name as the baby. So the contribution meant that they could get married faster. Just to be clear, it had nothing to do with the fact that she was unwed mother. Purely that my sister wanted the same name. Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

Both of us.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, so wow. Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

So you can go get that changed legally without getting married. Listen.

SPEAKER_06:

No, you're good. Is that the end of the is that the end of the story? Is that it?

SPEAKER_03:

No, I got two more. I got two two two and a quarter paragraphs. So thank so thanks to this money, they have now booked a date on a venue which includes the price around 15 pre-booked rooms, guests around$300 each. My sister really wants to have my parents to have one of these rooms so they can stay over and then also have breakfast with other guests staying in the morning. However, my parents are very keen on spending$3,000 for just one room for one night. Or I'm sorry,$300 just for one room one night. They usually stay at a holiday inn, premiere inn when I'm traveling in the UK. So they said that my sister that they would be staying the whole evening for the wedding and the party until it finishes, but then they get a taxi home around an hour and a half away. It's really upset my sister. She wanted them to be more involved say over. So privately I said to my sister that if she cared that much, then why didn't the why didn't their room come out of what my parents were contributing to the wedding in the first place? I said that they were giving my sister a lot of money initially, essentially charging them extra to actually stay at the wedding, which I don't understand. This made her really angry and she said that I was guilty of parent of paying for my parents' rooms. Later that night she texted me for saying texts me and saying that she couldn't sleep as she was stressing about having to spend$300 on their room for one night and didn't feel comfortable spending that sort of money. So am I the asshole for Zetch is for suggest for suggesting that my parents' room probably should have come out of what they were contributing to the wedding in the first place? No. So long story short, parents probably are loaded to a degree. Paying for a wedding. So the the the sister wants them to stay over stay at the place that they're getting married at, it's gonna cost a little bit more money than the parents want to spend. The sister said, Well, why don't you pay for it? Sister said no. So now the sister wants to know if she's an asshole for asking her sister to pay for her parents.

SPEAKER_00:

I guess if the cost of the accommodations is in the thousands, then she's like the fuck up.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm gonna I'm gonna agree with that, but I'm also gonna elaborate just a little bit more because as one who got married and the parents helped out a little bit, god damn it. If you are gonna fucking get married or something like that, and your parents are paying, or anyone's paying for any sort of and they're asking, like, hey, and you want them to do something a little extra, and it and they're like and they and they come out and say, hey, it's a little pricey for me, you better find the way to pay that difference or to cover that cost of lock up. Absolutely. I don't understand, motherfuckers.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, they they they said they sound uh I mean a tad spoil. Like you said, they're they're the parents are probably loaded, and and it's possible maybe I don't know how old they are. Do they say how old the parents are at least?

SPEAKER_03:

No, the pa no, not how old the parents are, just the age of the female and the person getting married, which is 27 and 35. Which I'm gonna do. So if you're 27, you'd have to imagine that they'd be at least in their 50s, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06:

So I mean, and maybe they're like, you know, uh I mean, I mean, I don't know. I I can't I can't say if they're loaded or not, but they there is a possibility they could be thinking of retirement, something like that. Right. Maybe they want to, you know, move elsewhere and be like, okay, you're you're you're you're grown. I shouldn't have to take care of you as much now.

SPEAKER_03:

But yeah, but then but they dumped a bunch of money for the wedding and those other rooms.

SPEAKER_00:

I mean, I guess I think I think we're all kind of on the same page. Like, yes, if the money is not coming out of your pocket, why do you get to bitch?

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Shut the fuck up. Just pay the just pay the room. Like, if you're if you want them to do something extra and they say, hey, I've given you all the money I can give you. We don't have money now to do A, B, or C. Well, then you need to fucking cancel someone's fucking dinner. Like, instead of having 552 guests, take it down two guests and check that money.

SPEAKER_01:

552 guests.

SPEAKER_03:

All I'm saying is fucking slim down your guest list by like five, and you've got the money to pay there for the fucking room.

SPEAKER_06:

To be fair, Grizz, uh, that that that's a that's a valid question because it's like he didn't he didn't necessarily say how many guests there were. So 552 guests. Uh maybe.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't know five hundred and fifty people. Right.

SPEAKER_03:

I think 552 people. I just don't think 552 people would come to an event that I host.

SPEAKER_06:

Just open the just open the door and be like anybody can come in.

SPEAKER_01:

Listen, there's two there's two things you gotta say to get 552 people in the door. Open bar, free food. Free food. That's it.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't know who Getty is, but I love fucking crab brand guten.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I love crab and goon.

SPEAKER_04:

I love crab ring.

SPEAKER_01:

I also working in hospitality,$300 for the night is pretty like standard for more luxury upscaled hotels. Yep. And it's only one night. Yeah, trust me, I get it. Like if if you if you're like from like the parents' perspective, they're like, I've already put a lot of money into this,$300 more dollars, even though it's not that much. Like on the grand scale of things, like probably not cheap.$300 is probably a drop in the bucket to what they paid.

SPEAKER_07:

Right. Right.

SPEAKER_01:

But the the married or soon-to-be married couple should just pay for the room, especially if it if like the parents gave the money, just like allocate three hundred dollars out of that budget for the parents. That's simple, and maybe cut the one friend that you invited that doesn't really actually have anything to do with your life. You just want them there because you've known them a long time.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I don't know. That's where I'm at. Grizz said it so beautifully so beautifully so beautiful. I'm over here dropping S bombs like this is so damn annoying. Let's stop being a little beautiful.

SPEAKER_06:

I mean, you're just he's just said Yeti says the quiet part out loud because it's like Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

That's what's that's Yeti, that's who Yeti is.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, because it's just like it is like again, more than likely they they sound a little spoiled, and they're just they're just used to their parents coming, somebody coming and paying for something, right? So so they they're like, you know, pay pay for this. And right, yeah, I'd I'd say just pay for the room. You know what I mean? And and and depending on her argument her. I was I was gonna say, depending on the relationship she has with her parents, and I'm sure like what Chris said, just like speak to them and say, hey, I can pay you back, you know, whatever. They could they they could have probably worked something out to where they could they could they could have covered the room, but yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Right. Whatever and I was gonna say her argument's probably like you've already spent X amount of dollars, just spend another 300 draw, right?

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, that's that's what it comes down to because if you uh most people look at it that way from from what they can from what they their perspective, what they can afford. Well, you already paid for this much, what's another three hundred dollars?

SPEAKER_03:

And I get that way. I get that way. When you when I get to a certain price point, I'm like, well, fuck, I've already spent the dismount. What's another fucking$200?

SPEAKER_06:

But listen to what you said, you spent it. That that's that's that's the decision you make as the person that has spent the money. If I feel that way and I spent the money, yeah, you're right.

SPEAKER_03:

You have no right to tell me where to spend my money.

SPEAKER_06:

You have no right to tell me, oh, well, what's another 300? Fuck you. It's my money. I can do whatever the fuck I want with it. You know right.

SPEAKER_07:

Yeah, no, no, no, right, right, right, right, right.

SPEAKER_06:

So, so yeah, that's that's just that's just kind of goofy. So what what's the verdict? We saying we saying not the asshole. Not the asshole.

SPEAKER_03:

Not the asshole. And she needs to be more aggressive with her fucking sister.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, just punch her in the nose.

SPEAKER_03:

I was gonna say, probably slap her one time.

SPEAKER_06:

We give you the right to crash out. Yes, they got you fucked up. So go.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01:

I've never heard it said that way.

SPEAKER_02:

What do you mean, fucking injured? You have the right to crash. You have the right to fuck out. Oh no, you don't.

SPEAKER_06:

Just go slap, just go slap some sense into her. That's that's all you gotta do. That's all you gotta do.

SPEAKER_01:

So good.

SPEAKER_06:

Uh so okay, not the asshole. Very good, very good. Um, try not to be like old girl and try to take advantage of people and their money, I guess. That's that's the vibe I get. That's that's 100% the vibe I got. What the what the fuck is that? Fucking weirdo. Anyway, you know what I think. I think ESPN is just out here yelling at everybody, but I think what I think what needed to happen with old girl is that she really needed to focus on getting her money up so she could pay for that goddamn hotel room, right? Stop asking people for shit like that, right? And I think if she had magic mind, she'd have been able to do that. She'd have been able to be like, you know what, she'd have been able to clear all that brain fog, thinking, you know what, my parents are gonna do all this for me anyway. You know what, my sister will do this for me. You know what? The homeless dude down the street is gonna do this for me. I'm not gonna do it. I bet if she popped a little magic mind, that shit would have just disappeared. And she'd have been like, yeah, okay, I got this. I'll take care of it. I am so sorry. I apologize for my outburst. That's probably what she would tell everybody she had a little bitch fit with. So, with that being said, Magic Mine is a wonderful little mental performance shot full of all kinds of uh nootropics to clear that mental fog and get you focused and give you clean, calm, cool energy without the jitters or the crash. unknown:

SPEAKER_06:

Awwww. Awww.

SPEAKER_04:

Aww, he's all tuckered out.

SPEAKER_06:

Anyway, with that being said, we have something to talk about today. Fellas.

SPEAKER_00:

What's that? What's that?

SPEAKER_06:

It's kinda huge. Like it's kind of a big deal. And just before we before we go anywhere clear my throat. Spoiler alert! Because it has just it did just come out. We're gonna spoil, we're probably gonna spoil quite a bit of it if you haven't watched it. Uh so if you don't wanna hear any spoilers, please stop listening now. Go to go to the fun fact, go to the the fun and games, go to something else, and then return, right, after you watch it. And so you can hear our take and maybe be like, you know what, I agree or I disagree, or you know what, here's my theory. But right now we have something very big to talk about, and it is volume two of season five of Stranger Things. MAGA.

SPEAKER_00:

The big thing I thought we were gonna talk about.

SPEAKER_06:

It's a big thing. Oh, it's a big thing.

SPEAKER_00:

It's a very big thing.

SPEAKER_06:

It's a big thing. So how we feeling, what we thinking, who do we trust, who do we not trust? Who's the badass?

SPEAKER_01:

I don't know how how quickly you want to go down that road, but I can tell you who I don't trust. Yeah, but I can tell you who I don't trust.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm not who I don't trust. I don't I think we'll still will I will try and do good. Will's trying to help his peeps out. Yep, but I also think he's still playing with Vecna. I don't think he realizes it or he's doing it on purpose, but I think it's gonna come down to I think he's gonna break everyone's heart at the end.

SPEAKER_01:

I think you're wrong, my friend.

SPEAKER_06:

Okay, okay. We got some conflicting theories already. Love it. Yeah, Grizz, Grizz?

SPEAKER_01:

May I share my theory? Share, share your thoughts. Share your theory. Share your theory.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Here, here's what I think is gonna happen in the next episode. Can I say it like that? Oh, there's two more episodes, right? There's two more episodes. One more. I think there's one more episode. Two hours and five minutes.

SPEAKER_06:

Or two hours and eight minutes. I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_01:

When you think about it, it is two episodes, but they're releasing it as one.

SPEAKER_06:

Right.

SPEAKER_01:

Um, so if I if I may, what I think the final episode is gonna be. Now I I can't picture it in totality, but what I think the major uh like climax uh point of the episode is gonna be is I think that they are going to be on the uh cusp of defeating Vecna. And I think Callie is going to sabotage the mission at some point. I can say and Will is gonna be the one that redeems it.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Because Will gave up the last bit of information that Vecna was using as his weakness. Yes. And that is how Vecna gets his strength on people. Yes. Is he finds their weakness. He's very manipulative. Yep. And Will no longer has anything that he's hiding from anybody. Yep. So he no longer has that uh leverage point for Vecna to take control. Right.

SPEAKER_03:

I could see that. Yeah, that Cali chick, she bothers me. I don't I don't like her. Nobody likes her. Like, why?

SPEAKER_01:

They wrote they wrote her out four episodes ago for a reason.

SPEAKER_06:

Or four episodes ago. Four seasons. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, three seasons ago. Yeah, three seasons ago. But still, I thought we axed this protocol because nobody really liked it. And then eight of those.

SPEAKER_01:

Hey, hey, hey, you remember when we tried that one thing and everyone hated it? Let's bring it up. Yeah, I do. We should we let's revisit that. Hear me out. Hear me out. We should fuck it up. What do you mean? So I'm thinking, hear me out. We bring back Cali. Why the fuck? Because because Netflix just got bought. Wait, hold up.

SPEAKER_06:

Accurate representation. Accurate representation. I love the the back and forth. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

That was the number brothers. Two brothers. Yeah. So we have five members again.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, that's that's why that's why I said accurate representation of exactly what went down. Accurate. So yeah, Callie. Uh fuck her, number one. Because she's obviously on a suicide mission.

SPEAKER_01:

Because she does bothering me too. She opens her mouth. I actually have a crazy theory about her, but I'll let you finish your thought.

SPEAKER_06:

Okay, okay. I'm I'm interested in hearing this theory, but I I think I think Callie is just on a suicide mission. Obviously, the with the way she's been talking. I mean, so to a point, she has a point, right? Like I understand where she's coming from in her argument, as in you get rid of Vecna, it's not gonna end there because you still have the military, which will always be around, and the military is always going to chase you. And whether you believe it or not, she might have a point that they will find you. They will find you, and this might just happen all over again. And she could be correct in it is a cycle. Because obviously they they did it. We they got Henry. Henry's trying to do the same thing, they're trying to do the same thing. You have two people trying to do the same thing. Well, two, yeah, two groups essentially trying to do the same thing at the same exact time. Henry's trying to build his army, the army's trying to build their army, and it's like how do you get that to stop, right? And the only way to stop that is getting rid of the blood that causes this, and that is now, as far as we know, Henry and Eleven. So what do you do? You cut the head off the snake, right? So I get where she's coming from. I get I understand the conflict. I still don't trust her because she is like I said, she's on that suicide mission, and I'm like, you could there's still another way to do it, right? Like you can still live, you can still like there's so many different things, there's so many different avenues that they could possibly explore without the end all be all being 11, you gotta go with Henry at the same exact time. So there you go. That's just my thought on everything that has transpired up until now. Uh it's interesting though that uh to follow up on what you said, Grizz, with Will um finally getting, you know, being open, uh uh taking that ammunition away from Vecna, taking that power and control away from Vecna, there are actually some people that are like the they they they feel like it was pointless. They're like, you know, they he didn't have to do all that. I'm like, he kind of had to, though, in order to stay in the fight with Vecna, because if he didn't, and he stayed with that fear of everybody leaving him, even though not you know, here's here's the thing they're not understanding, right? They they're looking at everybody else's reaction, they're like, they never showed that kind of like fear or like you know, uh disdain for it, or you know, they never show that they were against something like that, right? And they're like, so why would he be worried about that? Well, in his mind, right, he thinks, you know, just because they're not showing it, you know, the closest people to you are typically the ones you gotta worry about, is what a lot of people say. So it's like you come out like that, and all of a sudden, next thing you know, oh damn, everybody's leaving me, or they're acting funny, they're acting strange. You know what I mean? They might say it's all good, nah, it's cool, but then turn around and just oh, I'm not I'm not cool with that, and they just disappear. So in his mind, that's how that's working, right? Like, and that's what Vecna, like you said, is playing on because he he knew that Will was malleable from episode one, and that's the part that not everybody's understanding. He's been this way since the start of Stranger Things. So, what do you mean it's not necessary? I I don't know. I feel like people are just not actually watching if they watch the series, they don't remember it, but they're not fully paying attention to what the series is.

SPEAKER_01:

So, anyway, no no no I think it's less than that. I think that I think that uh because I I've seen some stuff online and people people are reacting to that scene, and they're like, there's so much like anger and outrage. And I'm like, hey yo, chill. Like, just because Will's gay doesn't mean you gotta be gay. Like, chill out. Like everyone's so mad, they're like, this is pointless. I read this one comment, this person said, as a gay man, this episode made me so mad because it was so it took away from the story. Like it was five minutes before they're leaving, and it it felt like that that took like 10 minutes and the timeline didn't match up. And I'm I'm like, you are that dense, you dumb motherfucker. Like you, out of everybody in the room, you should understand the most. How important it is, how unfucking important it is, because straight people, the reason why most people are so confused right now is because straight people don't have to come out as their sexuality to people. You don't go, hey, hey guys, I'm straight. This has really been bothering me, but like I I was afraid to tell you because you wouldn't like I'm straight, right? Like straight out of the door, straight people don't do that, right? Because it's an automatic defaulted thought, right? It's it's like default for for straight people in society. It's like I don't know, it's such a like finer, deeper bullshit than everyone is giving me.

SPEAKER_00:

You know, for sure because because like like like like like Jay, when did when did you come out as being straight to your parents?

SPEAKER_06:

I think it was when I was about 11. When I was 11, I was like, I was like, mom, dad, I I like big butts and I cannot lie, and they have to be attached to a set of boots.

SPEAKER_00:

That's exactly how that went, if I remember correctly. They want to come out and like, oh, we're we're we're so picked on, and people don't like us, and it's unfair, and like, bitch, come on. Like, this is your world. Right. It's your world, everybody else is just living in it.

unknown:

Right.

SPEAKER_00:

So don't don't get upset when people are like, hey, you know what? The things you're saying are doing are kind of bullshit.

SPEAKER_01:

That's what they want you to think, Templeton. It's not their world. They've just been trying to make it look like that.

SPEAKER_00:

No, I I I agree. I'm my my my point is like they they've made this thing into what they want it to be, and then when people don't agree, that's when they cry. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, and people just don't understand the like what what happened in that episode. Right. Because it wasn't just like I think what people got mad about is they're like, oh, uh Netflix is trying to be woke. That's right. They have a gay character, yeah, and they want to talk about it being a gay character. And like, yes, that is that is a little part of the pie, right? Like, that's the fucking garnish that they have representation in the show. It's a very diverse show, right? Like, like Cali's not yeah, Cali's character isn't white, right? Like Lucas is a black character, like there's all these layers, and for it taking place in the 80s, everyone's seemingly except for Billy, seemingly pretty cool. Yeah, say for Billy. You know, big guy for Billy, say for Billy. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, you know what I'm saying? And like, like what happened in that scene wasn't, hey guys, look at me, I'm gay. It was it was something that most people that are queer experience at some point in their lives, and especially back then.

SPEAKER_06:

Back then, especially back then it was it was it was different.

SPEAKER_01:

They're not thinking about the fact that the show is still supposed to be taking place in the late 80s, maybe the 90s at this point. Yeah, I can't remember. Um, but still like at least mid 80s for sure. If not late. No, I think I think I think I think season five actually does take place in the 90s now. Yeah, it's yeah, it's pretty because they had a time skip. Yeah, they had a they had a time jump.

SPEAKER_06:

I just again I don't know how long how big of a time jump it was. Um yeah, yeah, I know you had something you wanted to say.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, stop playing with your titty, by the way.

SPEAKER_06:

Uh he might be, yeah, he might he might be yeah, he might be doing daddy duties or something. Um, but no, like I and that's what that was my point where I say uh they might be watching it, but I think they're missing the point. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01:

Like like Yeah, people just want to be angry at shit. Right.

SPEAKER_06:

Oh, they just want to bring it up, it's like, bro, if you didn't watch again, like season, what was it, four last season, or or uh when when when Will was crying in the van and and because you know what I mean? You know what I mean? Over Mike essentially, it's like if you didn't pick up that Will was, you know for his best friend, yeah. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_03:

This has been an ongoing thing the entire series, right?

SPEAKER_06:

And I'm like, if you missed it, then you have not been paying attention.

SPEAKER_00:

You were the thing you weren't paying attention, but it's like have have any of you ever watched Ted Lasso? Yes, great show, by the way, if you haven't watched it, highly recommended.

SPEAKER_01:

It's nothing like Stranger Things, by the way.

SPEAKER_00:

It it it's not, but I'm I'm I'm making a point.

SPEAKER_07:

Go ahead.

SPEAKER_00:

Like, one of the best scenes from that show is like, are you being judgmental or are you being curious?

SPEAKER_07:

Yeah.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Like, are you asking like white people think the way they think, or are you just judging them for who they are? Right.

SPEAKER_05:

I'm with it. I'm with you.

SPEAKER_00:

Because like most of this show, this particular show, most of this show are like people of color. Like myself Yeti, Jay. Like we we're we're not white people. We're not. Hey, hey. We're not hold on.

SPEAKER_05:

Hold on, wait a minute. Don't call me out like that. Don't don't call me out like that.

SPEAKER_03:

All okay, so the one thing I'm gonna say about this is about this whole topic with with him coming out on that episode, you know, and people crying about all there's no reason for it, there's no reason for it. I have seen shows where like and I'm pretty laid back when it comes to all that, but then I do scratch my head like was that part necessary? But I did not feel that way, I did not feel that way with this at all. To be to be me personally, I felt like it was empowering to be honest. Correct. Because if you yourself are struggling, maybe this clip might help you get over that hurdle. Correct. And I think that's what they were trying to do, and for people to say what they're saying, and again, going back to what we just said, Jay, is and and and Templeton and Grizz, he's been gay the entire season or the entire series. Like there's been hints at it, there's been hints at it, there's been hints at it. So it's do you just say that this is pointless? No, that's called closing up a loose end.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, it's a character.

SPEAKER_03:

That's called story writing. Yeah, it's a character.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you. Okay, Yeti. To like piggyback off the point you're making, which I agree with, by the way. I would like for us as like a society to get to a point where like a character being black, a character being gay, a character being like transgender isn't a controversial point. Right. It's just it's just a part of the story. Right. And nobody can nobody cares, it just is what it is.

SPEAKER_03:

So one thing I do, and and and I'm not trying to make this about me, but one thing I try to do when I'm telling stories or trying to describe people, I no longer use race or color or anything of that nature to describe what I'm trying to say. I always say that person. Uh-huh. And and and now, for quick reference, if I if it is a male or female, like I do use that still because that does help a little bit to some degree. But besides that's as far as I go. I don't go any deeper than that.

SPEAKER_01:

And bro, I had a heinous thought. I had a heinous thought. I know, I know, I know.

SPEAKER_03:

Here's the thing though. Keep it up here. And like I said, if you try to pay attention to my story, you'll see that I actually like, oh, he's not saying the race or anything like that, like as a descriptor. Um, it just is what it is.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it hurts. That's something I've been guilty of too. And I think it's it's a product of society, it is, it is. And I've I've been trying to decommission myself from that as well, right?

SPEAKER_03:

And that and that is one thing that I'm trying to do. Go ahead, Jay.

SPEAKER_06:

I I I I love that you guys are finally coming around to that. Because do you want to know how long I have been preaching that to people?

SPEAKER_00:

Because that's not finally coming around. That's because no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_06:

No, no, no. I'm not I'm not saying you, Templeton. I mean, the the you know, like like Yeti just said, he's trying to break himself of that. Grizz Grizz said he finds himself guilty of it sometimes. Um, for the longest time I've been telling people, I have agreed with what uh Morgan Freeman has said about how do you end racism? Stop talking about it. Now, what he meant by that is not you know stop talking about racism as a whole. What he meant is if it's not pertinent information to the story, if I'm telling a story about some dickhead that cut me off in traffic or cut me off at Walmart, why is it pertinent to the to the story if I'm like listen to how I listen to how I describe this. So uh I was standing in Walmart one day and just some some white dude just fucking cuts me off, right? Like he just steps inside, uh steps in front of me, and and you know what I mean? Like, what the fuck is that? Okay, why I I and I've asked people this, why did it why does he have to be white? They're like, well, that's because that that's what color he was. I'm like, okay, but what what kind of weight does it hold to your story? Are they an asshole because they're white, or are they an asshole just because they're an asshole? Assholes are colorblind, right? Like everybody's an asshole anywhere you look. So if I were to tell you the same story and just say, hey, some dude, I was standing in line at Walmart, some dude just jumped in front of me because he thought he was next.

SPEAKER_03:

Doesn't matter. You know what I'm saying? It sounds more aggressive if you take the color out. Hello?

SPEAKER_01:

It it really because the thing you're trying to hit gets hit, right?

SPEAKER_06:

Because I'm trying to let you know there are assholes in the world. It doesn't matter. And the people that are like, Well, there are people out there that be like, was he white or black? It's like, what the fuck does that matter? Right, why does that matter? And that's my response doesn't matter.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, why why the fuck does it matter?

SPEAKER_03:

Is that gonna change your thought on this?

SPEAKER_00:

Always go, they were green. There's a thing called there's a thing called hit dog holler. Have you guys ever heard that hit dog holler?

SPEAKER_06:

Yes, yeah, a hit dog's gonna holler. Because if you if you if you point out if you point out that it's if you throw a shoot into a room full of dogs, the hit dog is gonna holler. Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So so the the the essence essentially saying if I say it's a white person and and they get offended that well, that's because you're an asshole. But at the same time, an asshole is an asshole's an asshole's an asshole. It doesn't matter the color. Right. Like, like if I if I if I begin to it, imagine if everybody started telling their stories that way, where they just left all that out and said some dickhead did XYZ. Now, again, if I get robbed by somebody, I can't just say, well, a man did it. Oh man. Right, right, right. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_04:

Like, that's that's half of society.

SPEAKER_03:

The police and scavenger are gonna pull over Grizz and be like, hey, you robbed somebody in Twitter.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, where were you? Where were you the night of uh uh December 28th, uh 2025? Where were you? Where were you? Well, it wasn't me. Well, the guy said it was a man. The guy said it was a man, so I gotta I gotta question everybody.

SPEAKER_01:

You fit the description, you are you're a man. We are a man, right? It's 2025. Exactly.

SPEAKER_04:

It's almost 2026.

SPEAKER_06:

I mean that would make it real hard to find the person that did something wrong, right? So it's like if it doesn't hold weight to the story, why are we talking about it? Why why am I why am I bringing it up if it doesn't hold any weight to the story?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, because because what happens is it sets a precedent because people are like, oh man, typical because like what normally happens when you say this phrase, right? Yep, like, oh, I like a white person cut me off. And then oftentimes, yep, people will reply with man, fuck white people. Yep, or they always be doing that because they think they own everything, you know, right?

SPEAKER_03:

Or whatever, whatever the race is, yeah, or somebody, or if somebody were to say sticking to the theme, right?

SPEAKER_06:

Or somebody, or if somebody were to say, you know, black dude cut me off, somebody's gonna be like, the fatigue is real, and I'm like, oh my god, people. Like this is how you keep people divided. That's how you do it. That's exactly how you do it. By by by by categorizing everybody, right? Putting everybody in a box, that's how you keep everybody separated. That's exactly how you do that.

SPEAKER_03:

Because there's the sad part is there's people out there, a lot of people, that don't have free will in their brain and just follow what everyone says. I get it.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, because because they're fucking programmed by wherever they go. There was something Templeton said that I uh I agree with and um have been trying to like just do more of and uh It's fuck me. I hate when this happens. I I answered what you said as I was trying to do his train of thought, and it fucking slipped my brain. Well, magic mind would prevent that from happening.

SPEAKER_06:

Maybe you need your little mental performance shot. But no. Um, I think we all I think we all understand ex like we understand the assignment as far as like you know being inclusive, all that kind of stuff goes. But coming back to Stranger Things definitely derailed there. Here's the thing though, it's not really it was a necessary derail. It's it's it coincides with the show because of what the because of how they did that. But with Stranger Things, again, we have a whole two-hour, eight-minute episode coming next Wednesday. Yeah, and and it'll be that'll be it. It'll be no more Stranger Things, at least for the main continuity, uh, in that form, because they do have two spin-offs. They have two spin-offs. One is gonna be a novel, which is uh it's gonna follow Nancy and Robin, and I think it's gonna take place between season four and five when all hell breaks loose. And the when when they when they're patching everything up, and apparently like people fall, like you know, they they they get mysterious illnesses, all that kind of stuff. So it's kind of gonna be like a uh uh mystery uh novel, and they'll be running around solving yeah, kind of sort of. They'll be they'll be solving solving mysteries. But they do have an animated series that will be coming out that will follow the original crew, and it's supposed to take place between season two and three, I think is what they said. So we will get we will have more stranger things, it'll just be in a different form of media, which uh that'll be a good way to do it.

SPEAKER_01:

Right. Like the kids are too grown now, exactly, exactly.

SPEAKER_06:

You can't you can't go back and redo the stuff because they're gonna be like 30 playing, you know.

SPEAKER_01:

It's gonna look like that 70s show.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, exactly. It's gonna be it's gonna be very hard to do. So um, but that that's what we have coming uh in the in the in the very near future. But I do have to say, this this volume tugged at a lot of heartstrings because Dustin is going through a lot. He's been through a lot.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, yes, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

You die, I die.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I felt so bad for him after the first four episodes of season five. Yep. Yeah, yep, yep. Felt so bad for him. Yep, yeah. You can tell he was going through it too, man. Yep, and all he all he wanted was someone there just to help him. That's it. But he was so naive to ask for help that no one gave it to him, and everyone was just being a jerk. And I'm so glad that his best friend went to him.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, Steve, him and Steve are on the men now, and that's that's the important part.

SPEAKER_03:

And I'm so glad Steve realized what was going on, was like, what? My man, you just need a hug. Yeah, let me help you. And that and and that's what helped it. Yeah, and oh, it's such such such me personally, I think it's really good story writing, and the acting, phenomenal. And again, these are all what they're doing in this in the past two episodes, in my opinion, are just life lessons. Just watch it, absorb the episode, and and and and take a piece of it, and you can uh put it into your life, and it might make you a little bit better of a person, just a little bit. Sorry, I'm done. I don't we're talking about it. It's just you're good, buddy. That's the way the show gets to me, and and that's the way I feel when I watch the show.

SPEAKER_01:

The whole point of the conversation. I I was so disappointed at Steve because of all the character growth he'd had between like seasons three through now. Yep. Just for him to revert back to like season one and two, Steve, like kind of made me upset a little bit. He did a little background because I I was like, what the fuck are you doing, bro? Yeah, he did he did a little bit. You're supposed to be Steve fucking Harrington. What are you doing?

SPEAKER_06:

I I I think I think a lot of it stemmed from the fact that he felt like, especially after uh, you know, with Dustin and Eddie's relationship, how it affected, you know, they got close. And Steve felt like he was losing his best friend to somebody else. So he kind of he felt some kind of way about it. And he did, but the problem is he didn't talk about it, right? They didn't really hash it out until they went and went into the basement and yeah, and and just slugged it out with each other. And it's like it's like, I mean, sometimes yeah that's not your bat, right?

SPEAKER_03:

Right.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. That that's essentially that's essentially what they did. And and it's like it sucks that it came down to that, but you know, it finally happened, and now they're on the mend because Dustin having that breakdown when Steve was like, I'm gonna take this ladder and I'm gonna you know, cross this thing. And he's like, No, you're not gonna do that because I cannot go through that bullshit again. I can't lose someone close to me. And I'm like, damn, like that part that got that's where it got me. I was like, oh yeah, one little tear, one little tear. Yeah, I was like, no, Dustin. Like he's he's his PTSD was kicking in. That's exactly what that was. He watched he watched Eddie go, and Eddie and Eddie went saving saving their lives, and now he didn't want to lose Steve at the same time. So, but at the same time, like nobody checked for Dustin when he got jumped.

SPEAKER_04:

Like yeah, I'm still mad about that. He got jumped. Yeah, he got worked.

SPEAKER_03:

He was on the side of a gunner, fucking yelling for help, and then we'll come to him.

SPEAKER_06:

And the crazy part was Steve knew that, even though Dustin tried to lie about it. The moment Dustin lied about it, Steve picked up on it. His bullshit radar went off and said, Nah, dude, you no, that's not what happened. And it's like for you to even say some shit like that, like Chris said, he did a little bit of backsliding and was kind of an asshole. Like, I don't I mean, I again I get it, because at the same time, he's hurting because his best friend is hurting, and his best friend isn't talking to him about him hurting, so he's like, What do I do? You know, he's frustrated, he hasn't he's just it all came to a head, right?

SPEAKER_03:

So you know what that teaches you to do is have conversations, talk it out, yeah. Talk it out life lesson talk it out. If you watch the show and you fucking take a little bit from each just a little bit. I'm not I'm not telling you to adopt everything that everyone's fucking doing, just look at the the bigger pictures, don't be so naive and watch it. Yep, absorb what you're watching, and you're gonna see what they're trying to do. Yeah, and I absolutely love this season. This is probably I can't take away from the first season because season one OG classic. But this one season five is I'm sorry, in my opinion, is a solid second. Solid second fights first first one, but again, you can't take away the first one because it's an OG.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, I like it.

SPEAKER_03:

It's just there's so much storytelling and so much good writing in in this season, and it's just like it sucks at its ending. Yeah, it it does suck. It honestly does. I don't want it to keep on going because then it gets like all great things that go on too long. They must come to an end.

SPEAKER_06:

They must come to an end. We've already we've already had that discussion. So you got something you want to say.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh I was kind of gonna piggyback off of um what Yeti is saying because I do think that season five is almost better than season one. It's pretty close. Um, yeah. Uh the main thing I wanted to say is uh don't be like Callie.

SPEAKER_04:

Circling back to fuck Callie. Don't be like Callie. Don't be like Cali. That needs to be on a shirt somewhere. Don't be like Callie.

SPEAKER_01:

She's a sneaky fucking sneaker. Yeah, yeah, she is. Kendrick, Kendrick taught me that I wasn't hating enough, so I'm putting that's right. That's right.

SPEAKER_06:

Going into going into 2026, I'm working on being a better hater.

SPEAKER_04:

Like she is, she is all some shit. She is the the way the way she's like trying to manipulate 11, bro.

SPEAKER_06:

Like the fucking mind games and shit. I was like, no way you're doing that. Like that's that's fucked up. That you're gonna like basically like like try to force her into the suicide mission with you. That's that's that's absolutely asinant.

SPEAKER_01:

She's just like she's being manipulative, yes, 100%. Brings me back to my theory that I wanted to say, but I didn't want to do it while Yeti walked away.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, no, you're good.

SPEAKER_01:

It's a crazy theory. I want to. I don't believe, I do not believe it's real theory, but I wouldn't be surprised. Oh, oh, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the twist just because of all the twists we've got with like what is fucking happening with this like sci-fi that they've added. Right. I don't hate, by the way. Yeah, it's awesome. I love the fact that the upside down is a it's a wormhole, wormhole bridge. Literally a wormhole. I wonder if it's a big thing. That's on another fucking planet, yep, and he's trying to merge the two planets, whatever. That's not even what I'm trying to say. That's crazy work. Fucking crazy.

SPEAKER_03:

How do you think we're back on your theory? Yeah, go ahead, theory.

SPEAKER_01:

So I think I think that there is a slight possibility that Callie is in cahoots with Vecna and either A is being controlled by the Mind Flare or controls the Mind Flare. Because what's her secret ability? She can make you see shit.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

I think she's the mind flare because she's number eight and the mind flare has what? Oh, yeah. Has eight legs or whatever, whatever the eight little things. Eight limbs, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, that yeah. So she's either in control of it or it's in control of her. One of the two. But there's gotta be a reason why she was in that fucking lab, and it can't just be because of her blood. Yeah, and here's the other thing, too. She's so if it's just because of her blood, they could have fucking knit.

SPEAKER_06:

I mean, I mean, they already they already knew it wasn't working. That that that's that's the thing. They already knew they already knew it wasn't working, right? So why else would they hold on to her?

SPEAKER_03:

She's so big. She's so eager to help, but then also so eager to to to manipulate 11. So she's like doing both things at the same time. Yeah, she keeps calling her chain.

SPEAKER_06:

Right. Yeah, right. Yeah, instead of 11.

SPEAKER_01:

She's slowly chipping away at the inner structure of the house. Yeah. So when the storm comes, yeah, it blows down like a motherfucker.

SPEAKER_06:

That could be, bro.

SPEAKER_01:

And that's uh fucking termite, bro.

SPEAKER_06:

She is it listen, there's a lot left left to left to uh uh unveil. Uh we have a whole two-hour and eight episode uh eight-minute episode coming next week.

SPEAKER_03:

And that I mean, yes, it sucks because it's it's it's the last of Stranger Things, but it's like you know, uh all the sold out that they're hosting. I know.

SPEAKER_01:

I wanted to go of them around me are all of me.

SPEAKER_03:

Two weeks ago, ones by me. I looked at like two weeks ago and they were all sold out.

SPEAKER_06:

I wanted to go so bad, but I guess I guess I was like, you know, I I I underestimated the the the fan base of Stranger Things. I honestly didn't. I did that. That's my that's my that's my B. I underestimated that. Yeah, the moment they said, the moment they said it's gonna be the theaters, we should have gotten the cued for waiting for tickets. Because I would have loved to see, I would love to see the finale on the big screen. I it would have been epic.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes, it would have been in the fucking 40 chairs. That's it.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm sneaking in. I'm gonna see I didn't check the IMAX screen. I'm gonna see if they're doing it. I've checked and they because the iMac screen here in Seattle, it's fucking huge, but a lot of people don't go to it. I've gone to move I I went to Superman there twice and it was not full. Really? It was it was like over 50% full, but it wasn't a hundred percent full.

SPEAKER_06:

So not a lot of people go to IMAX. That's interesting.

SPEAKER_01:

It's because it's over at the it's over at the city center, and there's plenty of other like it doesn't have like the reclining seats. It they're comfortable seats, but they're just not like the the fucking lazy ones where you can lay down and fucking turn the heater on and someone comes and rubs your feet. Oh, I like that. I don't need to go to a spa and a movie. No, I stay. I do, bro. I do.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeti, you muted yourself somehow, somehow. I don't know how you did that. Okay. Um but no, I I know, I know we uh we probably are gonna have to wrap this up because we are we are coming a time. Um but I guess in closing, there's been a lot um that has been that has been unveiled that has been uh uh uh uh uh lot of a lot of questions were answered. Because I'm sure a lot of people were curious what is the upside down, why how does it operate, all that kind of stuff. And they have absolutely like you said, they pulled the biggest sci-fi stunt in the world, and it's like Stranger Things is now.

SPEAKER_01:

We should have seen coming, bro, but for some reason we didn't.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, for whatever reason, we miss we missed it. We were we were just totally blind to what not saying that it wasn't sci-fi to begin with, because you know, a whole nother dimension of upside down, you know what I mean? Like you got demodogs, true, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Right. I guess we just like left a baby yeti.

SPEAKER_06:

Hell yeah. Yeah, she her first episode. All snap, all snap, and on the and on the season finale, that's crazy. That's crazy work, yeah. That's crazy work. Again, he did that on the season finale. He said, and here's my baby.

SPEAKER_03:

She's up there, she's up there screaming, so I'm trying to I heard her screaming, so I'm just trying to give mommy a little break here. That's fair, that's fair. What are we doing?

SPEAKER_01:

Oh she's excited, bro. Yeah, she's like Stranger Things uh finale.

SPEAKER_06:

Yes, that's exactly what it is. She's like, I can't wait to see 11 fuck up Callie and Vecna all at the same time.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh that's Uncle Jay right there. That's Uncle Jay right there. Hello, Gigi. Say hi. Hi.

SPEAKER_06:

So um, yeah, so like I said, in closing, there's been a lot, uh, there's been a lot of questions answered, and there's still a lot to be answered. Because, you know, again, who do we trust? Who do we not trust? Who's the badass? Just real quick, Nancy and Hopper. Bro, bro. Yeah, that drug zine. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Dude, it was Nancy, Nancy, knock them down, Wheeler. Nancy knock him down wheel. Nancy, quick reload wheeler.

SPEAKER_03:

I give it to who this those three episodes I give to her mother. Yo, let no no no no no.

SPEAKER_06:

You know, you know, thank you for bringing that up because I wanted to say, can we just discuss how the wheeler family all together are just badass? They're badasses.

SPEAKER_01:

I need to find a wheeler family, yeah. Right? Um just find find your nearest D D playing people in certain wheelers. Yeah, we'll be safe. Yeah. Um no, um fuck, brain, don't fail me now. Magic mine. Um, magic mind. God damn it. Hold on, hold on. I got it. It's right here.

SPEAKER_06:

So Magic Mine has these new tropics that help you.

SPEAKER_01:

It's so crazy.

SPEAKER_06:

I don't even Grizzlies, leave me alone.

SPEAKER_01:

No, no, no. I'll I'll say it off the air. Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, he's gonna be like, oh, this is what I wanted to say.

SPEAKER_01:

No, no, uh, I have a rebuttal to what you keep saying, but I need to say it off air.

SPEAKER_04:

I gotcha.

SPEAKER_01:

He's saying not not while the lights on. You can't put that on black. That's pissing me up. Oh, oh, I remember um Karen uh when she put the oxygen tank in the dryer.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes, in the dryer, yes.

SPEAKER_01:

So, so please tell me that you both realized that leading up to that happening, the scene where they're where they're huddled up this is Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park, yeah, Jurassic Park. Okay, okay. Instantly. Instantly.

SPEAKER_03:

I was like, oh, that's Jurassic Park. That that's Velociraptor scene. Velociraptor scene. Immediately. I said I said it out loud as soon as I seen it. Yep. Oh my god, this is Jurassic Final. I was like, that's Jurassic Park.

SPEAKER_01:

Michelle and I have been watching the this season finale, or I mean the the final season, right? Yep. Can I call it season finale? Uh series finale. Series finale. Series finale. Series finale, I think. Series finale. Thank you. So we've been watching together to close it out, right? Yep. And I forget which episode it was, but um at one point I was like, it might have been when they like referenced the flux capacitor. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes. Um and I didn't say it at that episode, but like a couple episodes in, like, another pop culture reference happened, and I was like, you know, I really appreciate the fact that they've chosen to kind of piggyback off of other IPs. Yes, yes, in like a tasteful way.

SPEAKER_07:

Yeah, yes.

SPEAKER_01:

Where where they're referencing them to root us in reality, right? Right? Like, like, because when they mentioned the flux capacitor, like I know the flux capacitor. Yep. So now that means that like like they're in Indiana, like they're we have an Indiana, yes, you know, like this isn't a fake world. Like this is like making it feel as real.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh God, what's the fucking movie? What's the movie called? I can't think of it. Back to the future. Yeah, back to the future. That makes it canon. Yeah, what it happened, it makes it canon. What do you mean? And stranger things.

SPEAKER_06:

Well, yeah, because it's supposed to be supposed to be like they mentioned like the end of the shit.

SPEAKER_04:

Hey on, hang on. What have you listened to anything Chris has just said?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, like I I mentioned that. Um I I mentioned that to her and was like, I really appreciate that. And then like without fail, like episode after episode, there's like another nugget of like, and then like that that was that episode seven.

SPEAKER_06:

Uh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think so. I think so. With the uh Jurassic Park.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, yeah. I just I think that's cool. It's it's neat to like like one like one person could like I feel like if I'm playing devil's advocate, somebody could complain about it and oh, they're just stealing, blah, blah, blah. But no, what they're doing is they're paying homage to the goats. Yeah, is what they're doing. Yes.

SPEAKER_06:

Yes, especi especially for the uh time that uh Stranger Things is supposed to take place in. So um, but again, uh I know we're I know we're over time right now, uh, so we'll uh we'll we'll wrap this up, put a pretty little bow on it real quick. But um in closing, Stranger Things season five, the sea the series finale has been it's been a roller coaster. There's been ups, there's been down yes, yes, it's absolute cinema right now, and I cannot wait for Wednesday. It's going to be it's gonna be epic. I mean, I mean, I don't know another series at the end.

SPEAKER_03:

What time does it get released on Wednesday?

SPEAKER_06:

8 p.m. Uh as or is it eight or nine? It's gonna probably be probably gonna be eight. Could could be nine. I I don't know. It's either eight or nine.

SPEAKER_01:

Regardless, this one Christmas Day was eight p.m. Yes. You guys, five five p.m. my time. Yes.

SPEAKER_03:

Steve, that's why can't it be five for us and two for y'all?

SPEAKER_06:

Because why?

SPEAKER_03:

Because so I have a little one, so it's a little harder to watch.

SPEAKER_06:

Solution. Solution. Move to Seattle.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, problem solved. I I I I'm thinking about finding my way down south to I'm going, going back, back really Cali, Cali. I want to go, I want to go and I want to go explore and and see if it's or to Vegas. Have you been to Vegas? I don't know if I would live in Vegas, but I do want to go to Vegas. You gotta live in Cali. Yes, yes. That's what I was gonna say. I want to I want to see if it's affordable enough. Uh, because hospitality pays a lot. Yeah, I'm gonna say right.

SPEAKER_03:

So if you're surviving in Seattle, you could probably survive in Cali. Oh, for sure. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

That's valid. Yeah, I as long as I can find housing and it's not crazy like run down or crazy expensive for something nice. But that makes it that's what makes it. Why don't you go to New York City, bro?

SPEAKER_03:

Fuck New York.

SPEAKER_06:

Damn, that's cool.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, you said quick, bro.

SPEAKER_04:

Brother, it's so cold. That's cool. Without without a few.

SPEAKER_03:

New York. Oh my god, oh my god.

SPEAKER_01:

I've been on the West Coast for three years. Yeah, but real quick real quick. There's two reasons why. Because I actually did used to want to live in New York. Because I do like New York. Two major reasons why I don't want to live in New York, and it's just things that I've come to realize. One, I like the winter, but I don't like New York winter.

SPEAKER_06:

That's fair.

SPEAKER_01:

Two, two, New York is too uh um what's it called, capitalist for me.

SPEAKER_05:

Okay, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

There's too there's like the fucking Times Square, like the most recent trip I took, and like just walking around with all the billboards and all the growth, like it's just it's just like the it's the best and worst parts of society in the world.

SPEAKER_06:

All in one, all in one.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, and like it's just too much for me. Like I I if I moved to New York, I would have to live in like one of the furthest burrows possible. That's fair. Well, I'd have to move to Queens or some shit, or fucking up in the Bronx or like deep into like the edge of Brooklyn.

SPEAKER_06:

Right. BX baby. Where Spider-Man lived.

unknown:

Right.

SPEAKER_06:

Nah, but uh I I'm trying to remember, it was like the graduation song or whatever. Not really a song, it's just dude giving life advice. Where he said, he said, uh uh live in California, I think like for a year, but don't let it, don't let it soften you. Live in New York for a year, but don't let it harden you. And that's that was that was his best advice. Is that's a hook, right? No, it is it is. I'm like, I'm like, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, no. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm like, okay, again, it's not really a song, it's just him like giving advice to a graduating club. It's like a three-minute preach. Yeah, it's a good thing.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm saying that could be a that could be a hook. Absolutely, absolutely.

SPEAKER_06:

I agree, yeah, yeah. I was like, I was like, you know, that's absolutely not wrong. Yeah, live in California at least a year to experience it, right? But don't let it soften you. Live in live in New York for a year to experience it, but don't let it harden you. Because when you live in New York for a long time, you get desensitized to a lot of things. And yes, and yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_01:

Seattle has that potential too. I mean, sure. Uh I bet you I bet you LA as well. For sure. Um, could all these places could harden or soften you.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, it just depends on where you live.

SPEAKER_01:

It would be difficult to be softened in New York, uh, unless you just are a major empath.

SPEAKER_07:

Yep.

SPEAKER_01:

Um, but that's one thing I've noticed living here in Seattle, living downtown. Like, as I get older, my empathy is growing. And uh, or maybe my empathy has always been here and now I'm more in tune with it. Like, just tapping in, bro. Right. The frequency is just like on the same, like, I'm yeah, tapping in is a good way of saying it. Absolutely. Um and like I don't I don't think it's gonna soften me, but it does make me look at things differently. And I I'll I don't want to go down a rabbit hole, but uh, I just something I I remind myself is like because I'll have this thought often of like, man, I could just become an asshole, yeah, like everyone else.

SPEAKER_06:

You could, you absolutely could, but that is not the road I traveled, right?

SPEAKER_01:

Exactly. Yeah, because like I will, bro, like I'll have a shit day or like some bullshit to happen, and I'll just sit there and go, Why the fuck do I do this to myself?

SPEAKER_05:

I could just be a dick. You could, you absolutely could. You could exercise your free will.

SPEAKER_01:

And then and then I remind myself, like, no, don't let these motherfuckers change you. Like, be you, just be you. That's yeah. That's that's the that's what I do.

SPEAKER_06:

That's the real challenge is to be you in a world full of assholes, right? Like in a world full of everybody trying to be somebody else, be you. That's the real challenge. Yeah. So um, in closing, Stranger Things season five. Get to it. It's almost over. And when it's over, it's over. So, um, who wants some fun in games? Anyone want fun in games? Anybody? Anybody? Anybody? Okay. So I'm gonna need you to do me a favor. And I want you to put them in the order you think they would finish. They are gonna be running a 100-yard dash. Okay. Okay. And I'm gonna give you four characters. Four four characters from from movie franchises, and I want you to put them in order in how you think they'd finish. First, second, third, fourth.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay.

SPEAKER_06:

Who we have are our lineup. Ethan Hunt from the Mission Impossible series, because we know he be running all over the goddamn place.

SPEAKER_02:

Right, right, right.

SPEAKER_06:

Forrest Gump. Enough said, Mike Lowry from Bad Boys, because you know he gotta run. He's running everywhere to get anywhere. It could be like two feet down the road. And finally, T1000.

unknown:

Five.

SPEAKER_06:

You said T1 T1000. T1000 and a 100-yard dash. Okay, and we're going, and we want us to label it. This is this is easy as well.

SPEAKER_01:

Are we playing this game realistically?

SPEAKER_06:

However, you want to do it. First, second, third, fourth. Who comes in first, second, third, and fourth? Uh, out of that list. Ethan Hunt, Forrest Gump, Mike Lowry, T1000.

SPEAKER_03:

Hold on. Ethan Hunt.

SPEAKER_06:

Ethan Hunt, Forrest Gump. Is this a fair race? Mike Lowry. It's it's a straight up just 100-yard dash. Who's going?

SPEAKER_01:

They're just running. They're just running. They're not they're not using their powers, they're not using any of that.

SPEAKER_06:

They're just running. No, they're not bubble gump shrimp at the finish. That's about it. But you got Ethan Hunt, Forrest Gump, Mike Lowry from Bad Boys, and the T1000.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay. Alright, so I'm gonna play the game. Here we go. I got here we go. We're diving in. Both feet in. T1000.

SPEAKER_05:

Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

For its gump.

SPEAKER_05:

Okay. Yet he doesn't get it.

SPEAKER_01:

Mike Lowry.

SPEAKER_05:

Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

Mike Lowry. And then Tom Cruise comes in last because fuck Tom Cruise.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, okay. Are you ready for my my lineup? No, no, no, no. Ready for this? Ready for this? Listen. Mike Lowry is gonna talk a lot of shit. Okay. Mike Lowry's gonna say he's number one. He's number one. You're not wrong.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm number one. Okay, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

He's a runner, but he's a long distance runner. He's gonna keep going. He just go. He didn't say he was running it fast. He just kept going. He's a long distance runner.

SPEAKER_06:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

T 1000 self-explanatory.

SPEAKER_06:

He sprints.

SPEAKER_03:

Ethan Hunt? Self-explanatory. He sprint.

SPEAKER_06:

They sprint.

SPEAKER_03:

They sprint. They sprint. But I'm gonna give the edge to T1000 because he's not human. Okay. So number one, he is a machine. Number two is Ethan Hunt. Okay. Number three is gonna be Matt Lowry. And number four is gonna be Forrest Gump because again, he's a distance runner. And Matt Lowry, he's gonna talk about his shit, but he ain't gonna get in last, but he ain't gonna be in first. And he ain't beating Ethan Hunt. Because Ethan Hunt is trained to do this kind of stuff. He'd be running off in trains, jumping on boats, jumping on fucking.

SPEAKER_04:

You understand he's had like 12 movies of an impossible mission and he still does it? Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_06:

So so it's it's definitely different. It's definitely different. I will I will give you that.

SPEAKER_01:

Um here's here's in a fantasy world. I think Mike Lowry talks enough shit that he confuses everybody and win. He gaslights them into believing T 1000? Like, what the hell is this? Like, you think he can win? Like you like, we fucking lead you.

SPEAKER_06:

What even is a T1000, bro?

SPEAKER_04:

Like who who's a T1000? Like, who the You can't have a name, you can't have a number as a name.

SPEAKER_06:

Get out of here. Um uh that that it that is interesting that it that it is that it is pretty different. I would probably venture to say. I'm gonna I'm I I'm gonna say T1000. I'm gonna say T1000 comes first, but simply because he is a machine. Even though he's not using his abilities, he is a machine. And dude sprints. He just sprints and he runs and he runs and he runs. Here's how I think it's gonna go after that, though. I'm going to say it's T1000, Mike Lowry, Ethan Hunt, Forrest Gump. Nice. That's that's wrong. That's how I'm gonna put it. That's how I'm gonna put it.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm gonna Ethan Hunt and Mike Lowry switch for you.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Is it a foot? Is it a foot race? It's a foot race.

SPEAKER_06:

It's a foot race. It's a 100%.

SPEAKER_04:

The 1986 Porsche, bro.

SPEAKER_03:

The old school.

SPEAKER_04:

He's doing it up rapidly in style.

SPEAKER_06:

I I don't know. I just feel I just feel like as much running as Mike Lowry has done, again, I I I think it'd be close between him and Ethan, Ethan Hunt, because they do they both do a lot of running. They run all they like, and I don't just mean running, because I gotta I gotta agree with Yeti. Forrest Gump is a distance runner. Like he wasn't running super fast. He eventually I think eventually he had a bunch of people following him running with him. It's not like he was outrunning people, right? So he was just he was just running, he just kept running and running, running and running. So it's like, you know, so I mean, I I think he, and especially in 100 yards, did he he did come bolting out of that house though? When he turned that corner, he was booking it.

SPEAKER_01:

So yeah, he was cooking, man. Hey, is Jenny at the finish line?

SPEAKER_06:

Hey, hey, because he he might be running off of anger, you know what I mean? Because Jenny, fuck Jenny. She's in the same boat as Callie.

SPEAKER_01:

Jenny not from the block. Jenny is the block. She is the block.

SPEAKER_06:

Jenny's for the streets. I hate the fact that she did that to Forrest. And she's, you know what I mean? Like, I love you, Forrest, but I'm not in love with you. I gotta go get ran through like crazy, and then I'm gonna come back to you after I got all these things wrong with me. It was like Forrest deserved. Yeah, Forrest deserved better than that. Like, fuck her.

SPEAKER_01:

And he didn't he didn't even know any better either. He's like, um, now that you're now that you're back.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, now that you're back and loot and looser than the sweatpants I have on.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Did I say for the joke? God damn.

SPEAKER_06:

I'm sorry, I'm sorry. That's probably not what Forrest is. She's crazy. She's crazy, she's crazy. So there you go. Um, fire off in the comments who you think would come in first, second, third, and fourth. Your your your lineup again is Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible, Forrest Gump, Mike Lowry from Bad Boys, and T1000. Let us know what you think. So who wants a fun fact?

SPEAKER_03:

Let's hear it.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh no.

SPEAKER_06:

Y'all ready for this? Yeah. When you cut a worm in two eating in half, that it actually regenerates?

SPEAKER_01:

I think I know that.

SPEAKER_03:

No, okay, no, no, time out. I didn't know that. So it regenerates into two, or like it finds itself in happiness.

SPEAKER_06:

So this is what really happens if you cut a worm in two. Never cut a worm in half lengthwise. It'll most definitely not regenerate, or indeed, survive. Should a worm accidentally be sliced with ways, so across the body. However, if perpendicular to the length of its body, it might well live to wriggle another day. Most have some po powers of regeneration, says Emma Sherlock, senior curator of free living worms at London's Natural History Museum. But this depends on the species. Earthworms, for example, can regrow their tails, but the Wolverine Award for best regenerative powers goes to the tiny planarian flatworm, which can regrow its whole body from just a tiny sliver of tissue.

SPEAKER_03:

Interesting.

SPEAKER_01:

So no are we study are we studying that worm?

SPEAKER_06:

Uh we I I I I would assume they are. I think the same better be.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm trying to be like Wolvie. So, right.

SPEAKER_06:

So if I had to guess, they're probably I've I I want to say they're probably studying that, and because I know with starfish, they're also regenerative. And if you cut off one of their limbs, a whole new starfish grows. So you'll have one starfish, two starfish, red starfish, blue starfish. I'm sorry, that was Dr. Seuss. It's okay. It's okay. I'll allow it. I'll allow it. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Um, so there you go. Uh worms can regenerate. Uh, at least earthworms can regenerate the tail, which uh they are has anybody dissected a worm?

SPEAKER_01:

I don't think I actually have.

SPEAKER_06:

Really?

SPEAKER_01:

I we dissected a starfish in high school.

SPEAKER_06:

Okay, so so in high school, I dissected a worm, a frog, a cat. I remember dissecting a cat, and a dogfish. Dissected a dogfish, which was really cool. It was actually really cool. Um because a dogfish is a tiny shark, it's a smaller shark. And I absolutely love that. And their livers are indeed full of oil. They're very oily, which is why they stay underwater and don't float. Because the really mass amount of oil in their liver keeps them not buoyant. Yeah. Which is which is why sharks have to constantly be moving, even when they sleep, they have to they slightly move because if they don't, they'll just sink and they won't, they'll drown. Is is how yeah, that's how that's how sharks operate.

SPEAKER_03:

So they couldn't just start well, they couldn't realize they were going lower and just couldn't wake up and start swimming.

SPEAKER_06:

So the deeper they go, obviously, it gets colder, and if they they're not from that deep, like you know what I mean? Like yeah, they'll they'll basically like not be able to move. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Kind of how like uh like a lot of whales, the most whales die from drowning because as they get older, they can't resurface to get air, and they'll just sink to the bottom.

SPEAKER_01:

We learned that at the Atlanta Zoo.

SPEAKER_06:

Thank you, Atlanta Zoo. Shout out to Atlanta. Still, yeah. I I was really looking forward to seeing the panda.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it was I'm bummed for you. I I read an article years ago, knowing that China pulled all of their pandas out of the US. So I I uh I didn't think they were gonna be there, but that's okay. I apologize I apologize. It's okay.

SPEAKER_03:

We were just oh they got the panda. I was like, I've never seen a panda.

SPEAKER_01:

Panda, panda, panda. It's okay. We were just the only time I saw I saw pandas in Beijing. Oh, that's cool. Yeah, that's cool. I went to the Beijing zoo, it's like the biggest zoo in the world. Oh, nice. Damn. It's not the best zoo in the world, it's just the biggest. Well, I'm jealous.

SPEAKER_06:

God damn it.

SPEAKER_01:

Don't don't be don't be it was a little it was a little run down. I was a little disappointed, but it was really cheap.

SPEAKER_06:

Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

It was like two US dollars to get.

SPEAKER_06:

Yeah, well, I mean, you know, that's that's not awful. Yeah, but at the same time, like I am kind of jealous.

SPEAKER_01:

I was just bummed because like I already have like a love and hate relationship with zoos. Okay. Um, because on one hand, I'm like, uh, we're kind of keeping these animals in boxes. Yeah. And then on the other hand, like like the Cincinnati zoo likes to focus on only having animals that can't survive in the wild. Endangered and all that kind of stuff. Yeah, endangered or like they're injured and they're just like they're it's for conservation and they're protecting them, yeah, and they give them the best life that they can. I appreciate that. But I didn't get that vibe when I was at the Beijing zoo.

SPEAKER_06:

Well, I I would assume I would assume their um like their rules and regulations are a little different, but a little different, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that so I I don't know.

SPEAKER_01:

I I could be wrong, I could be very wrong, but no, no, I think I think that like like different cultures have different um lines of thinking when it comes to what they perceive as equal to us. Correct. Um, so you know, an animal's just an animal to some people, whereas like an animal is more than that to me. Yes, exactly. And and and because I look at it like life is life, right?

SPEAKER_06:

Right, right. So unless you're a tick or a mosquito, then we can Yeah, fuck insects, but everything else. I'm I'm I'm cooling, yeah. Okay, so to wrap this up, because this is our season four finale, just so we're clear. Oh, it is for those of you listening, this is our season four finale. That's right. SPEAKER_05:

It's hey, if she's listening.

SPEAKER_03:

Omaha near Omaha. If she Ohmaha! Who invited Peyton? Who invited Peyton Manning? I mean, it's probably like three hours or two hours.

SPEAKER_06:

Who invited Peyton City? Who invited Peyton Manning? Come on now. Come on now. So coming in at number one, I'm pretty sure all of you can guess.

SPEAKER_03:

Dayton.

SPEAKER_06:

unknown:

SPEAKER_04:

SPEAKER_06:

SPEAKER_03:
