Today's guest is 5 time Gold Medallist at the FINA World Masters, UK National record holder and Sports Consultant - Helen Gorman.

We chatted about Helen's lifelong relationship with swimming - from her early days training, in Nottingham, to US College at Arkansas and swimming at World University Games, and on to her ongoing very successful Masters Swimming career, culminating in golds at Budapest and Gwanju.

How does Helen stay motivated? What type of training does she do and how often? How has she kept fit during Covid? We find out why she loves the camaraderie of Masters Swimming and the connections she has made around the world while competing at different competitions.

We also talk about her professional working life as a Sports Consultant - working on things as diverse as British Swimming, designing FINA approved swimwear and interviewing Ian Thorpe!

One thing comes across from this chat with Helen, like all really successful swimmers, she is a hard worker in the water and loves the challenge of race pace sets at training. She even loves those 2km kick sets her coach sets!
