Today's guest is 6 x FINA World Champion and past President of Masters Swimming Australia - Gerry Tucker. It was delightful chatting with Gerry and hearing about his swimming journey.

We talked about his races at FINA World Champs, in particular, Kazan and Gwanju and what he does in his warm up to be "race prepared". How does an 800m Freestyle World Champion pace his gold medal winning race? What kind of training does Gerry do in the lead up to racing? How often does he train and what type of sets does he do? I am sure you will be challenged when you hear his favourite set! It's an oldie but a goody.

Gerry is a dab hand at ocean swimming as well, racing with much success over the Australian summer and among his many first places, twice a winner of his age group at the famous Pier to Pub swim in Lorne.
