On today's podcast we chat to Canadian Cindy Mabee. She is a super fit, super fast masters swimmer based in Victoria, British Columbia.

Cindy has had some superb results at FINA World Titles and US Masters Nationals, and she credits much of her fitness and strength to cross fit. We chatted about the introduction of that into her training; what type of swimming sessions she does and the joy she gets from swimming.

We also talked about the hot topic of the moment - body shaming of female swimmers and how this was approached back in Cindy's age grouper days and what she sees coaching on pool deck now.

We bonded over our love for Lucy Charles-Barclay and chatted about Cindy's new passion of Xterra, which kind of like an off road triathlon.
