How do you stay at the the top of the swimming game and qualify for your fourth US Olympic trials at age 40? Today's podcast guest Steve West knows exactly how to go about it and shares with us the ins and outs and his recipe for success, which has garnered him multiple masters world records!

Steve exudes vitality and energy, and lives and trains in Huntington Beach California, where he moved after finishing College. We chatted about his training, both past and present; how he adapts training sets so he can continue to train breaststroke, when everyone else is swimming freestyle; and how he keeps his body "match fit" and ready to race with flexibility exercises.
