Have you ever tried swimming at altitude?

It is certainly something I would like to try and I found out all about it from our guest today - US masters swimmer and FINA WR holder Katie Glenn.

Katie lives, swims and coaches at high altitude in the fairytale town of Vail, Colorado with the Off Piste Aquatics Masters Team. Outdoors, all year round, in a glorious heated pool amongst snow capped mountains.

What are the effects and benefits in training so far above sea level, and what happens when you come down to low or no altitude. Katie shared her knowledge and experience, as well as her coaching ideas and what she does in her own training.

It is always lovely to meet a fellow kindred swimmer and that was no exception with Katie. I am sure you will love hearing all about her swim journey through College, and onto the US National team and now as a masters swimmer.
