Well, we have hit episode number 100 and what better to celebrate than to have a superstar of swimming join us on Torpedo Swimtalk Podcast this week, none other than Michael Klim. Gosh we enjoyed this chat!

Of course we spoke about his accomplishments, among them - 2 Olympic Gold Medals, 7 World Championships, 5 Commonwealth Gold Medals and an unbelievable 21 World Records, 3 of which were in the 100m Butterfly!

We covered Michael being coached and mentored by the legendary Gennadi Touretsky; the kind of training completed during that time and even the freestyle drill that changed his career (45:10) You may want to hear all about that!

More broadly, Michael shared some health issues he is experiencing with us and how the diagnosis of CIDP has changed his life, but also brought him back to his swimming roots. He is inspiring countless others with CIDP to get active and move, by sharing his journey.
