What a pleasure to have Mel Mason on this podcast.  To me, her message is important for many who are struggling to recover from bulimia.

Her words speak volumes, and her story is compelling and also proves that even through adversity, you can move forward.

In her Freedom From Clutter's 5 Day Challenge which started today, and which I am attending, I loved it when she said to see life (and I am paraphrasing) as a GPS.  You don't use it to see where you were, you use it to know where you are now, and where you want to go.  I loved that.

Mel shares about her five books (to become 13), The Mel Mason Show, and also about some of the adventures (and I say "some", because she has had many in the past year in particular that I have followed on Social Media).  Asked what inspires her to be so adventurous, she says "it's my birthright".  She feels that clutter is what stops us from living out our lives.

To this, she clarifies that when she speaks to "clutter" she speaks to the internal clutter that can show itself in different ways, including addiction, bulimia, along with hoarding.

Mel offers her book Freedom From Clutter to listeners by going to https://www.declutteringspaces.com/freedomfromclutter, and you will also then automatically be added to her list to invite you to the 5 Day Challenge, or you can email Mel at info@declutteringspaces.com. And if you only organize the outside without changing the inside, the clutter keeps coming back. That’s why you can clear a surface or organize your closet and in no time, it’s cluttered back up again. So, that set her on a mission to empower people around the world to get free from clutter and experience more happiness and more abundance in every area of their lives.

Since then she’s used her own experience to create a step-by-step process designed to help you get free from clutter without feeling overwhelmed, that keeps the clutter from coming back called “The Seven Steps to Manage Overwhelm and Organize ANY Space” and she has wr
