Ed Mahoney
Originally from Boston, Ed arrived in Texas with a box truck full of his belongings and a hope to find better opportunities. He landed in Frisco Texas before the surge of development when there were less than 30,000 residents.
Back then, there were a handful influential people who helped direct the growth of Frisco and Ed became a part of that process by serving on a number of city appointed boards & committees, Leadership Frisco, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and much more.
Frisco now boasts over 200K residents and is home of the Dallas Cowboys, PGA, FC Dallas, and Universal Studios. It has become one of the Best Places to Live in America.
There is much to tell about the history of Frisco, its politics, and the vast number of places to eat and play.
