After an extended smoke break, High Talks is back!
Bringing to the forefront conversations around cannabis, and led by women in the industry, High Talks host and HOF creator Jess Poulin sits down with three powerhouse women leading the charge in cannabis wellness: Leah Heise, Sara Payan, and Laura “Nurse Laura” Barrett. With deep experience spanning regulatory law, patient advocacy, and cannabis education, these industry experts explore the growing need for evidence-based information in cannabis spaces. Discussing the lack of consumer education in dispensaries, the importance of terpene-based shopping over just focusing on THC percentages, and how informed choices can drive both customer wellness and business success, Poulin continues her commitment to supporting womxn in cannabis and destigmatizing the plant among female consumers.
Touching on broader systemic issues, including the medical industry’s ongoing exclusion of cannabis as a legitimate tool for pain management, and when it’s appropriate to start cannabis education for youth within a harm-reduction framework, Episode 6 of High Talks "Creating A Safe Space For Education in Cannabis," is a must-listen for anyone invested in cannabis as a tool for wellness, education, and change.
The High Talks panel series is a part of the High On Feminism (HOF) brand and podcast, focused on women entrepreneurs and creating a safe space for women to learn about and consume the cannabis plant. For more HOF content, & even merch, visit highonfeminism.com.
