Hey, what's going on everybody? My name is Dallas Prude and welcome to the Daily Drip here on the Growthcast. Competition. It's part of the game of life, getting that job, becoming a starter, getting that deal. You must learn to compete. Not only that, if you want to grow, you must continue to become a better competitor.
What I wanted to do today is share two truths about competition or about competing. And the first is the more prepared person usually wins. So the better question or questions for today are you getting your reps in? Are you doing your homework? Do you have a strategy you routinely deliver? A methodology, a process, a system, if you will.

Are you getting these reps in on a daily and a weekly basis? Are you staying consistent? And then the second is you get credit for action, not preparation. Now, these two things almost sound oxymoronic, but they are not. It's true. You must prepare, but it is also true that massive action must be taken. What I mean here is risk must be involved.

You can't stay stuck in practice. If you truly want to compete and grow at a high level, you've gotta get in the. Again, the two truths regarding competition and growth today are the most prepared person usually wins and you get credit for. Action, not preparation. Look, it's important to remember these two things as we compete in our lives and in our industries.

Oftentimes, we are competing against ourself, but it is also inevitable. You must learn to compete against others and to do it at a high level. Healthy competition is good for you. It's good for others. It's good for growth, it's necessary. Prepare. Take consistent action, calculate the risks, and take massive action when the opportunities are bound, when necessary, and enjoy separating yourself from the old version of you and from the competition.

Have a great day, everybody, and we'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
