Hey, what up everyone? Good morning and welcome to the Daily Drip with me, Dallas Pruit, steadfast empowering self-dialog. It's a must if you want to reach your true potential. That's why we hit TMIC so hard. For those that are new to the Growthcast, TMIC stands for the most important conversation, which is the one you have with yourself.
Better questions and your ability to ask them are strong components of healthy self-dialogue. That's why today I wanna share a better question for everyone to address in their own. Here it is, without altering the facts of the situation you are facing without ignoring the reality of what must be done, what is the most useful and empowering story you can tell yourself about what is happening right now and what you need to do next?
It's easy to fall into the trap of losing control of the narrative with everything you have to do or rather feel like you have to do. It's easy to lose. Not just control the things around you but more importantly, lose control of the story you're telling yourself today as a reminder that you are the one writing this story of your life.
You are the hero, not just some innocent bystander watching everything play out. Pick up the pin and put powerful words to paper. If you've gotten caught in the trap of telling a lackluster sad, disempowering story, today's allow directive to stop doing that again. The story you tell yourself is important.
It's crucial. Don't forget. You are the one writing the book of your life. Be your own hero. Change the narrative. Make sure your story you tell yourself is useful and empowering no matter what is happening around you, when it is this type of story. An empowering, useful story, right? You will start to be able to better recognize what needs to be done next.
And when you find out that answer or those answers plural, have the courage to do it. Have a great day, everybody, and we'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
