Hey, what up everyone? Good morning and welcome to the Daily Drip here on the Growthcast today. Let's keep it simple. Let's keep it simple and powerful, simple, easy, powerful. In fact, that's something we are all about here on the Growthcast. So, in light of that mantra, that approach, let's highlight a better question for everyone.
Everyone could afford to ask themselves today's better question and that. What's something you could benefit from caring less about? Trivial worries. Take up a lot of our time. The weather. What other people think of your decisions, your style. Maybe it's a sports team you've invested your time into. Maybe it's renovations on the house, paint color in a room.
Maybe you're worrying about who gets credit for a team project that you've recently completed. As for the weather, you can't change it. What other people think outside of your control, the team you care so much about, I can guarantee you they do not reciprocate that same level of interest and concern for your work.
LA Rams don't really care what's going on in Dallas. PERTs life also, whether they win or lose it doesn't really matter. It's a game. Renovations on the house. Paint color in a room at this point in time. Is it really that important or are these. Ideas or projects in the works aiding an avoidance type of behavior, are they covers for the real work needed in your life as it relates back to your definite major purpose.
Your goals don't care what color the wall is, and for the team aspect as far as your team and that project you're working on. And who gets credit, look who cares? Leaders give credit where credit is due anyways and they understand without greatness around. They would never be able to accomplish amazing work, give credit to others, and quit worrying and keep working again with everything that was touched on today.
Briefly, the better question is, what's something you could benefit from caring less about? Ask the question. Create a list, choose two to three, and start feeling relief. Provide yourself with relief. Quit emptying the tank on the things that do not matter, and instead ask the better question and start filling the tank up for better, more impactful work ahead.
Make it a great day, everybody, and we'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
