Hey, what's going on everybody? My name is Dallas Pruitt, and welcome to the Daily Drip here on the Growthcast. Today I wanted to share share a longer quote. Bear with me, if you will. It's all worth it. It's by Ralph Waldo Emerson, and this is what he had to say about making each day a masterpiece.
He said, Finish every day and be done with it for manners, and for wise living, it is a vice to remember. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in. Forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day and you shall be, You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense this day for all that is good and fair.
It is. Dear with its hopes and invitations to waste a moment on the rotten yesterday's. I love this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. It's a great reminder today, let today serve as a reminder, right? It's a clean slate. So many times we hold on to baggage from previous days, from previous efforts, from previous experiences when we simply need.
Wipe the slate clean and move forward. Quit holding on to anger. Quit holding on to frustration. Quit holding on to negative thoughts. Quit holding on to limiting beliefs. Quit holding on. Yesterday has gone and passed. Today is what we have, and all too often, not all too often, regularly, if you will.
I like to visit this here on the growth cast and just send out a loud reminder, Hey, whatever troubles have l you, whatever things you are holding onto. Today's a great day to just let those things go. I'll read through this one more time as we close out. Finish every day and be done with it. For manners and for wise living.
It's advice to remember. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in. Forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This day for all that is good and fair, it is too dear, with its hopes and invitations to waste a moment on the rotten yesterdays. Let that be your mantra. Day in and day out, clean slate, one step at a time. Have a great day, everybody, and we'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
