Hey, what's going on everybody? My name is Dallas Pruit and welcome to the Growthcast. Today, I've titled today's episode, "It's hard and it's possible". Don't raise them above you. Quit letting yourself off the hook by assigning superpowers to all of those great people that you see. All of those great people you aspire to be like.

Look, a huge mistake that people make is putting others who are great at something up on an elevated point. By doing so, what you really are telling yourself is that they aren't just better, but they're also different. They're superhuman, they're gifted. The truth is they aren't any different than you. What has elevated these individuals is their discipline, their ability to work hard at something for a very, very long time.

So, the invite today is to quit excusing yourself. Quit giving yourself an easy out by elevating others to a point that is beyond your reach. There's a quote and it goes something like, if it's humanly possible, then it's possible. Period. What is it..., what is it that you want to do...

... are you really focused?

Are you really putting in the work?

Reality is if you're willing to put the work in, you can do it. You are no different from them, and they are no different from you. Today's reminder is if it's humanly possible than it's possible. Don't elevate others beyond your reach. Remind. They aren't unique, they aren't gifted, they aren't special.

They are disciplined, focused and work hard. So are you. Have a great day everybody. We'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
