Hey, what's going on everybody? My name is Dallas Pruit, and this is the Growth Cast presented to you by the Multi-Family Mindset. Does your head hurt? Does it feel like you just can't shut it off? Anybody with ambition, anybody with their mindset on growth can relate. You might even be that person right now.
You might even be going through that actual struggle as we, as we speak. Deepak Chopra said A quiet mind is more important than a positive mind today on the drip. It's a reminder that a happy mind, a productive mind, a healthy mind is a quiet one. Your mind is a muscle. It must be worked out often in order to be strengthened just like all other muscles.
It requires rest to be at its best. It can become overworked, and when that happens, pain settles in a quiet mind cure at all. One way in which you can provide your mind. Rest is by engaging in a lifetime, what the stoics called a lifetime. Turn the problem solving off. Turn the thoughts off and change your focus.
Change your focus to engaging in the world around you. Go move some weights for the sake of moving them. Notice your muscles and how they engage in the movements. Go for a walk for the sake of enjoying the sounds and the sights. Don't ask questions with what you choose to engage your body and mind in.
Simply engage in the practice or the experience. Pay attention to your senses. Feel alive by engaging your body and mind in something that is good for the both of them. Fresh air sounds, movement. All of these things can and will help you feel alive and if done properly, help you quiet your mind. If your head hurts, if you can't shut the thoughts off, try shifting your focus.
To stillness, engage in some action that allows you to quiet the noise and feel alive. With this, it's not good enough to only stay reactionary. The invite is to be proactive and design a daily routine that allows you to be able to quiet your mind, not. Reactionary, but on a regular basis proactively. Like Chopra said, a quiet mind is more important than a positive one.
Have a great day, everybody, and we'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
