Hey, what's going on everybody? My name is Dallas Pruit, and this is the Daily Drip here on the Growthcast presented to you by the Multi-Family Mindset. One of the biggest errors people make is the error of skipping steps. We talk about it all the time with new investors and early business owners that are just getting.

But it can happen with raising children or running an ultra-race or anything else. That's difficult. What happens is, instead of staying in the present moment and keeping that day, that moment, that step at the forefront of your focus and give it your full-time and your full attention, you drift forward in your focus becomes fleeting. You start thinking about that water break that's coming five miles down the road. You start thinking about year three of the business. When you actually have a number of hires and systems in place. You start to think and live in a year down the road when you no longer are potty training your son, no longer changing diapers, you start to focus on that portfolio that you just don't have yet.

This is an, this is an issue. This type of thinking becomes habit that's problematic. And instead of living in the now, you drift too far forward. Too often. Living in the future dilutes the impact of your effort in the present moment. So many people want the things that were rattled off in the beginning today, and so many people want to skip the steps required to actually get there.

Your urge to want and then willingly skip steps increases the more you allow your mind to drift too far forward. So today is an invite to stay present on today and what is required of you today. Don't skip steps. That's what most do and that's why most never do what you will, your business, your ability to be an amazing parent at all stages of the game that race, all of the things are accomplished day by day, step by step.

Do this instead of valuing the goal so much value, honoring your word. Value, consistency. Value, resiliency, value, endurance, value showing up every day. Value the steps, value today, and what is required of you. Think bigger. Have a great day, everybody, and we'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
