Hey, what's going on everybody? My name is Dallas Pruitt and welcome to the Daily Drip. Kurt Lewin was a German psychologist who created a great definition of behavior that I'd like to share today. He stated that behavior is a function of environment times personality. What does this mean? This means that the way you are essentially is...actually, a result of who you are and your environment.

Those two play key roles where you are, who you surround yourself with, who you are. So think about that for a second Today what type of environment do you put yourself in every day? What type of people do you spend your time with? What does your team dynamic look like, your day-to-day working environment?

Consider that for a moment today. Your environment plays a huge part in a lot of things. The types of goals that you choose to pursue, how you respond, how you choose to respond to stressful situations, what your focus is day in and day out, what you're not focusing on, what you're missing, what you talk about, your habits, what you spend money on, what you value.

And so much more. The better question for today would be, what kind of impact is your environment having on you? What kind of impact are the people in the environment having on you? Is it a positive impact? Is it a negative impact? Just pause for a few moments today and really consider all of this.

As you do, you'll be able to, with a clearer vision, you'll be able to see better. You'll be able to better know the types of adjustments you can make, and you need to make in order to become the best version of you in order to make a better impact In. In some cases, you might even notice that a change in environment is necessary. In other cases, this might not.

really be possible. It's not always possible, but even in those cases, you might start to notice how you can be in the environment but not feed into all of its dynamics. Actually impact them all for the better. Be a catalyst for change. You might find ways in which you can be a font in that environment and reduce the number of drains when you can't change the environment, you change.

Again, today is a friendly reminder. Behavior is a function of environment times personality, the environment you place yourself in every day. It really matters. Pause and take notice. Notice and ask some better questions. Consider some changes, and then get to work. Have a great day. We'll see you guys back here tomorrow.
