My name is Dallas. This is the, all right, I'm all about cultivating a habit of reading. I've said it often here on the Growthcast in many other, on many other fronts that not all reader. Are leaders, but all leaders are readers. When we talk about reading, it's assumed that one must read all pages of an entire book, and that's what we're talking about.

Read all the pages of an entire book or else. I'm not sure you fail. Maybe , it doesn't count or something, or it won't be useful. This just is very untrue and it also isn't something impactful reading leaders do today is a reminder that there is no rule that states you must read every single word on every single page of every single book that you ever pick up.

There isn't a rule that states that you can't put a book down. Find a new one if it's just not hitting the spot. There isn't a rule that states you have to read whatever book you're into in chronological order. Look, the truth is one powerful tactic for Read to Lead is to read what's most useful. To jump around and find relevancy to stop reading something if it's not relevant.

You can read what is most helpful. You can skip things today as a reminder that this is life, not an end of year exam or college final. Nobody's testing you. This is for you, for your life, for your business, for your.  for your possibly entertainment and for your growth. Again, if I was to simplify today's tactic, which I would like to for all of you so that you can put it to work, it would go something like this.

Read what's helpful, skip the rest. This isn't an exam. It's for you. It's for the betterment of everything in your life. Have a great day and we'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
