In this homily given at St Pat's on Passion (Palm Sunday), (April 10, 2022), Fr. Mathias challenges us to "stay with Jesus" as we commemorate his suffering, death and resurrection. As we draw near to Jesus in his suffering, we unite our sufferings to his, which allows him to love us in them. Since only those who suffer with Jesus will be raised with him, our decision to love Jesus now in his sufferings prepares us to experience the new life of the Resurrection at Easter.
