Nine girls from Grove Hill have been nominated for the 2024 American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Alabama Girls State. This year’s session of ALA Alabama Girls State will take place June 2-7 at Troy University in Troy. The girls are nominated by their school faculty and are interviewed by the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 116. Only the delegate from each school will attend. The alternate will go in case the delegate cannot attend.
