James Augusta Moore, 74, of Whatley, passed away on April 22, 2024, at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. He was born on Dec. 13, 1949, to parents Robert Augusta Moore and Mary Virginia Wilson Moore. James lived in Clarke County and was a millwright by trade, working for many companies around the area. Following retirement, he entered the construction business. When he was able to get away, he loved the outdoors hunting and fishing, and enjoyed the time spent with his sons and grandchildren doing so.
