Dawgs host Flomaton

GROVE HILL — After a 26-0 loss to Southern Choctaw in last week’s jamboree, Clarke County will turn its focus to hosting Flomaton in the season opener Thursday at 7 p.m. The jamboree featured varsity action for three quarters before the junior varsity squads took over for the fourth. The Bulldogs’ Gavin Washington and Jayvion James each recorded interceptions. A Clarke County fumble in the third quarter set up one Indians touchdown and the JV squad gave up two more scores in the fourth.
