Clarke Prep hosts Sparta
GROVE HILL — Clarke Prep will try to put a 1-10 finish behind it when it kicks off a new season Friday at 7 p.m. by hosting Sparta Academy. The Gators enter the new season with a sense of renewed purpose. With some returning starters, particularly on the line, Clarke Prep hopes its struggles in 2024 laid the groundwork for growth in 2025. Leading the offense is sophomore quarterback Camden Jones, who took over starting duties midway through his freshman year.
