Collecting cars and memories for Christmas

My love of cars definitely started in childhood with what I collectively call my Hot Wheels collection, though some were Micro Machines and a few other brands. My brother and I spent countless hours in the “cities” we built in Gaugy’s red-dirt-floor garage. There’s still a big tree in our parents’ yard with part of its root system exposed a ditch, and that spot became the perfect landscape for our heavy-duty, off-road imaginations.
