I've written many times about my childhood and how much we kids loved the outdoors. As I started pondering my column for this week, my mind drifted back to the many camping trips I took — in our backyard. My sister and I would bounce between our backyard and my childhood friend's. We loved pitching our little tent in the yard, crawling into our sleeping bags and staying up half the night telling ghost stories. Of course, everything sounds different after dark.
