Mrs. Pauline D. Hudson, age 94, passed away Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026 at her home in Mexia. Mrs. Hudson was born in Clarke County and had been a resident of Mexia for the past 51 years. She was a former employee of Northside Preschool in Selma and Southside Preschool in Monroeville, as well as a member of Mexia Baptist Church. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Dewey Hudson; her parents, Albert "Buster" Holder Dolbear and Claudia May Dolbear; son-in-law, Bill Garris; two brothers, Archie Dolbear and Sambo Dolbear; and sister, Addie May Dolbear Andrews.
