Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for John Truman Wolf Financial Hour. Now, here's John Truman Wolf.
SPEAKER_15Hi everybody. John Truman Wolf here with the John Truman Wolf Financial Hour. Thanks so very much for being with us. Uh broadcasting live as we do each week from the beautiful Los Padres National Forest. It's a magnificent uh summer day up here. It's not quite uh technically summer, but it's uh it's a summer day here in terms of um in terms of the environment. It's uh beautiful. We broadcast from the middle of the uh Los Padres National Forest. Uh hope things are delightful where you are. Um we take now a look at the uh investment sectors of the of the country as we do each week uh at the beginning. Uh the discussions, um uh actually contrary uh uh reports on the war in Iran. Uh one report at uh I think it was at Newsmax said um Trump said it was over. Then um subsequent reports I'm hearing now is that it's almost over. At any rate, uh whichever of those is correct, um the Dow was up uh uh almost a thousand points today on 930 points. Um 929 points to be very specific. Uh so uh it soared on the prospect of this war ending. Um and uh as I say, it looked like uh there was a statement that it was over, it was a done deal, and then subsequent reports are no, not quite done yet, and the Iranian are saying no, it's not done. So I can't tell some, you know, there's a lot of information often that comes out of the uh Trump administration that the Iran that the Iranian uh uh press just contradicts on a regular basis. Um you know, Trump says something and they go, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Um at any rate, uh the prospect of the war being over drove the uh the Dow up uh almost a thousand points, big deal. Um the precious metals uh which had taken a major hit uh earlier in the week uh bounced today. Um but uh gold uh trading around 4300 uh and silver uh really took a hit uh earlier and is struggling to get back up. It's below 70, I think $67 and change uh an ounce. So the precious metals uh trying to recover from a you know major hit earlier. Um my opinion, the precious metals will continue to grow. Um uh the these kinds of setbacks, these kinds of shakeouts are natural in any kind of bull market, and I think that's what the precious metals are in, is a bull market. Um but uh they certainly took a they certainly took a hit earlier. Um the crypto uh markets remains um underperforming with uh Bitcoin around 63,000. Um uh I think it's a buying opportunity. I bought some at this level because I think Bitcoin is headed for the moon down the road. Okay, I'm John Truman Wolf. This is a John Truman Wolf Financial Hour. Uh we'll be back right after this. Stay with us, folks.

SPEAKER_15We are back, folks. I am John Truman Wolf, and this is the John Truman Wolf Financial Hour. Thanks for being with us. Um, with us is our good friend Mike Letz, who is the chairman of a wonderful nonprofit called uh investusa.org that helps uh men and women in blue. It's a nonprofit. Um, well, Mike, uh uh it could be an historic day. I got uh kind of conflicting reports from the news media. One that uh the you know they had agreed to everything and it was over, and then uh other reports that uh no they're still uh uh tweaking some things. What what's your info?
SPEAKER_05Uh they are they've agreed in principle there are still a few things we're tweaking, but uh at this stage the official position is you're too late. Uh we are moving forward with military options, massive military options this evening. Uh so I see. Uh what do I think that that yields, John? I think the minor details that they're still trying to hang on to quickly get resolved, you get a signature before we're probably done with this show. My position has been, and I think it's taking uh credence now with the president owners' I don't care if they sign it 10 times. I don't trust him. And I think quite frankly, you know, we should be in a better position to exercise greater control over the future of uh reparations because it costs us something to do this. I think the uh people of Iran, the dissidents, should be back in control. Uh interesting, why is this happening? We did a strike yesterday, the media's not reported on it. Took out 31 of their now senior military leaders. So they're in disarray.
SPEAKER_15Um yeah, they've been they've been a mess since this thing has been going on and it uh gets worse. Uh uh so there was some I didn't hear what you just said. I hadn't heard what you just said, 31 of their leaders taken out. What was the military revolutionary guard? I see. All right. Well, I mean, that's the element of that country that has kept it suppressed for decades and that has been the uh the the thorn in the side of getting this thing done. Uh uh a real oppressive group of people.
SPEAKER_05Um that's why I expect that you'll you'll get a signature here very shortly. The question is how much credence do you want to put in it? And where I think we have to give serious consideration, John, is you've got them in a very unique position. You'll never get them in this position again. You better make sure that you you've got everything wrapped up tight, sealed, and delivered before you let them go.
SPEAKER_15Yeah, I I I couldn't agree more. I mean, hopefully they've gotten, I mean, uh the negotiators have gotten uh all of these elements buttoned down so that we can uh act if they uh you know violate the agreement, which is not uh hard to figure out. Let me uh let me jump subject. So what do you think of the new uh uh DNI?
SPEAKER_05Thank you very he's gonna do very well. We uh, you know, Bill did a great job of advancing and things. You're gonna start seeing stuff that uh you're gonna have a hard time keeping track of all the indictments fixing to come down. Uh that was the that was the deal with putting Bill in there as the acting DNI director. Um had cases after cases prepared and ready to go. She obviously uh, and I understand we were her husband's health was more important. So the president said, I'm not gonna bring in anybody with intelligence, I'm gonna bring in somebody that can do the job who can deliver quicker than what I even asked. He did that, we've already set that in motion. Now that it's being set in motion, we're gonna turn it over to somebody who can just follow through.
SPEAKER_15Uh are you are you familiar with this guy? He's uh I think the the uh DOJ uh attorney for Southern District of New York or something like that.
SPEAKER_05That is correct. That is correct. But he is the new U.S. attorney for the city. Remember, the Southern District was a mess. That's where we you know Hillary had her strong points at. We cleaned that whole operation out, put in new. You know, let me just give you a couple positives. It's been the uh Southern District that issued the indictments against the cartel. We were just recently on the ordines, the uh the uh state senator from Mexico. It has been the Southern District that is uh aggressively now pursuing corruption in those areas. So he has proven himself there. We expect that he will continue to do the same now as the director of D and I.
SPEAKER_15Uh well, um hopefully he's uh he's a good chair uh uh a good choice. I hated to see Tulsi go. I was a big fan of hers.
SPEAKER_11But she'll be back.
SPEAKER_15Um yeah, let yeah it it wouldn't be surprising. I mean, she was a congresswoman, she she ran for the she she ran for the Senate. I mean, her her performance during the Republican uh primary going back to uh the whatever year it was where he she just laced um uh you know Harris, just beat her up big time. I I I love that. Um well hopefully this thing gets wrapped up. The the the stock market uh uh thinks it's cool. The stock market's up about a thousand points. Um dropping faster than you and I can can report. Yeah, yeah. I don't know where where is it. I haven't uh followed all I saw was a report that it's down, but I don't know where it was at 86 from 110. Yeah, well that's uh that's good for everybody. That's good for everybody. And and um hopefully as this uh thing gets signed and pinned down, uh gas prices will come down. Um uh you know, they've the the war has pushed them up, but uh uh a settlement will bring them down for sure, and people uh should have a um an affordable summer uh uh moving into the midterms where um Republicans are taking on people like this uh Tal Rico and the guy up in Maine. I mean, uh uh these these people are out of their mind, Mike.
SPEAKER_05Well, it shows the whole uh total dysfunction of the Democratic side of the Democratic Party. We're in an epic battle, John. You and I talk about this. We don't wake up and make sure that we win this and win it big, we're in deep trouble. These people are crazy.
SPEAKER_15I couldn't agree with you more. If you get people like um what's the guy's name in Maine, is it Plant or something like that? Plant Planter. Uh I mean that this this guy's out of his mind. Um And that seems to be their their candidate of tourist all across the country. Uh uh Talerico in Texas is um bad. Guys uh you know, virtually virtually nuts. I don't even know why he has as much uh uh uh media attention as he does. I think just because he's so out of the norm, uh hard to imagine that uh uh people like that will win, but uh you got Mandan uh uh you know Mandani in New York, and he's just he's just carrying on as a full-blown socialist. Um uh looks like Karen Bass won uh at least won the the the uh Los Angeles uh primary. Um and I don't know, I don't know what the LA scene is like.
SPEAKER_05Does she have to run against um Yes, that that that was just the primary, it's just the top two contenders go to the uh general, and it's uh her and the city councilwoman, you know, the beat out.
SPEAKER_15Uh oh, right, right, right, right, right.
SPEAKER_05But we have a DOJ investigation going on very quickly with election fraud. That's gonna bust open before they can get to the general election, and it's gonna change.
SPEAKER_15Okay, folks, uh talking to Mike Letz, uh chairman of Investusa.org, a great nonprofit for the police. I'm John Truman Wolfe. This is the John Truman Wolfe Financial Hour, and we'll be right back. Stay with us.

SPEAKER_15All right, folks, we're back. John Tumor Moore for the John Truman Wolfe Financial Hour. Back with you. Thanks so much for being with us. Just following up for a second on the uh conversation we're having with Mike Letz uh about uh the uh race in Los Angeles, the mayor's race in Los Angeles. Um uh Karen Bass, of course, everybody's heard of because of the the fires and uh uh you know other other uh flaps uh that this woman has been in charge of. The fire department. Anyway, there's a long story with that woman. But that her competitor is um some woman who just came out of the blue. Now, I've been in um I'm a San Francisco guy, but we moved down here to Southern California about 30 years ago and lived in um LA. I'm a little out of the city right now, but um uh I never heard of this person. I don't know anybody that's ever heard of this person. Um I think she's on the city council, if I'm not mistaken. Um uh an Indian-born gal whose uh name escapes me right this minute, but uh she's now she's now uh she went second in the primary and um I you know very suspicious. Uh uh just suspicious. Uh, you know, I don't have the I don't have the tools or the access to to dig in. But all of a sudden this um this woman who who who no really nobody's ever heard of um you know win second place in the mayor's race in Los Angeles. Um uh uh you know, whoever's in charge of um election integrity in this country, and I'm not sure who that is, uh other than that the DOJ has probably got a unit uh that does that, should really stick their nose into the to this LA um uh voting and uh stand guard in November. Um I think the um the the voting machinery, meaning the the actual I don't mean the the hard uh machines, although we can include those uh those, but the the pr the process is uh really questionable. Um uh and I think some of this uh uh fraud, I'm not I don't know uh as an absolute fact uh that it's fraud, it just smells it just smells like it. I mean, uh whoever heard of this woman uh the truth is she may I I think she's very left. Um so maybe that uh the pulled her out. LA has become a uh very multicultural uh city. Um you know um it is it is um uh anyway, very multicultural, and I think it should be looked into. Okay. Um and and uh going back to let me just touch again on the the the issue that we were talking about with Mike Letz, which is the new director of national intelligence. This guy is an attorney for the uh Justice Department, and I hope he fills those shoes well. Uh I think there were or there is um uh indictments uh kind of standing uh standing by waiting uh that Tulsi Gabbard was going to issue. And uh this guy is an attorney for the Southern District in New York, and uh I think he's a I think he's a tough cookie. And uh hopefully he'll get some of the stuff done and and uh the likes of John Brennan will uh get a uh uh an an indictment. Um you know, we had a little of that with John Bolton, uh who um uh you know was indicted and then uh pleaded guilty to And then um had the same problem himself, uh leaking uh uh classified data, uh leaking it, I think the if memory serves me, uh to his family in in in some form or another. Uh at any rate, uh uh politics in America is uh challenging. Um and there's uh uh particularly in California, lots going on. We're getting rid of Gavin Newsom, thank God. Um just a terrible governor. Um and if I weren't living up here in paradise, I'd I'd I'd pack up and go to go to Texas or Florida or something. Um because he's been an absolute uh uh terrible governor. We'll see what happens come uh November. Um Hilton against Bacera. We can talk a little bit about that when we come back. I'm John Truman Wolf. This is the John Truman Wolf Financial Hour. Stay with us. We'll be right back and talk a little bit about uh the equities markets as well as crypto.

SPEAKER_15All right, folks, we are back. I am John Truman Wolf, and this is the John Truman Wolf Financial Hour. Um let me just talk. I have talked last week about it, and let me talk about it again, uh, which is the uh crypto investments. Uh Bitcoin has remained uh in the toilet. Uh may not be the best, uh may not be the best uh uh parallel, but uh it is down uh in the low 60s. Um now bear in mind that if you follow the Bitcoin market, you know that it was twice that amount. Uh Bitcoin up to got up to 100, I think 126, maybe 127 um thousand, uh and is now down to half of that. Um I think it's a classic buy. Um it has been pounded. I bought some to be right out front about it. Uh not a huge amount, but I bought some. I bought a uh Bitcoin ETF. Um and um uh you know it's at 60,000, I think this is uh I think this is a goodbye. There's other uh good buys in the crypto market, so I I just uh encourage you if you're looking for a little diversification, um, you know, uh put your toe, you can put your toe into the crypto market if you're if you're still reticent about it. Uh you don't have to spend a lot of money, you can buy uh the the way uh crypto uh cryptocurrency works is you can buy a piece of it. So you don't have to you don't have to spend sixty-three thousand dollars to buy a bitcoin, you can uh buy whatever um uh piece of it uh you can afford. Uh if you got five hundred or a thousand bucks, you want to just kind of put your your t your toe into the crypto market, you can do so. Uh you can do it directly through uh a major exchange like Coinbase or through an ETF. Coinbase uh being uh for those of you that that had that don't follow that market, is the major uh crypto exchange in the United States, um cryptocurrencies are traded on exchanges just like stocks are traded on exchanges uh or commodities are traded on exchanges. Uh they have their own exchange. So uh if you're gonna buy General Motors stock, you you you buy it on the uh New York Stock Exchange. If you're gonna buy crypto, um there are crypto exchanges um and um uh you can buy via Coinbase. I bought it's easier uh for me just in terms of the uh administrative hassle to to buy um uh an ETF, uh a Bitcoin ETF. That way I'm buying a stock, I can use my um Schwab account. Although yesterday I saw an announcement by Schwab that they're now going to be facilitating uh crypto purchases. But I bought um an ETF and the ETFs, which are basically the companies that uh oversee um uh the the product uh or the commodity that they're um caring for is like a stock. So you can buy uh a piece of a stock that deals in uh Bitcoin or uh Ethereum, I d I don't know how many ETF crypto ETFs there are, but there are certainly bit there are more than one Bitcoin ETF, and you can just buy the stock and the s and the stock price will uh reflect uh the price of um of Bitcoin. So I encourage that. Um I think it's a good buy. I think it you know you can diversify if you're uh uh if you're into you know stocks in a 401k, you can uh you can buy uh you know little uh precious metals and buy some some uh crypto. Uh okay. So enough on the uh on the crypto promo. Um again, uh mark my words, uh Bitcoin uh uh trading at 63,000 as we speak. Uh you watch it. It will it will go up uh uh to the moon in my uh my humble opinion. Uh I have an article here which happens to hit home uh to me about the uh fact that uh celebrities are used to you know promote uh uh certain products, uh and whether or not the article's about whether or not uh the fact that a celebrity is promoting a uh a certain product affects their their popularity one way or another. Uh I think the answer of it is is without question. I mean, I have been a um and as as have many been a Robert DeMir uh Robert De Niro fan for for many years. I thought his performance, I still think his performance in Raging Bull was a masterpiece. Uh but uh the here's the truth. If I see a film or a you know TV show or something with De Nero, I tend to to to to you know not watch it. Uh he is so he is so afflicted with Trump der uh derangement syndrome uh that it's just kind of like but you know, Bob get a get a grip. Um uh I don't know that it whether or not it's affecting his uh affected his acting, but it's hard to watch him now uh without his um anti-Trump beingness uh be being at least present even in the background. Uh I think it's um you know, I mean I uh the I know the celebrities get paid a lot of money to do this. God bless 'em. Uh you know, if I had a name like this, uh uh you know, I would moneti uh I would monetize it. Um but um uh you know I think it affects uh uh at least if the person is taking a political point of view, it affects how you look at them. When you look at Michael Jordan and Air Jordan shoes, from which he's made uh God's own amount of money, uh, or people like uh uh Beyoncé promoting Pepsi, or um let's see, here's another one. Uh Adidas Kane West. Um it's not a big deal, but politically it is. Okay, we're gonna take a short break. Uh, I'm John Truman Wolf. This is a John Tremon Wolf Financial Hour. We'll be back right after this. Stay with us.

SPEAKER_03Producer Mike G giving a little recap of today's markets. What a day on Wall Street, folks. With news regarding perhaps a cooldown in the Iran Straight Hormouth situation. Also, with uh pending IPOs of SpaceX and Anthropic for the Nasdaq. If you're invested, you are making money today, folks. The SP 500 up 1.75% over 127 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average up 928 points. That's 1.86%. Keeping up above 50,000. The NASDAQ up 640 points. That's nearly 2.54%. The Russell 2000 up 3%. Gold up 2%. When was the last time you saw the Dow, the NASDAQ and the SP go up, along with gold? Even Bitcoin is up, folks. Bitcoin is up 3.47% today, as of uh right now, $63,000,584 and uh 63 cents. So if you were invested right now, then what John always talks about is being a you know diversified and be diversified, and also don't panic. Don't panic, because as we've seen today, uh you are right back in the green or in the black. And uh the U.S. Stock Futures Rises investor wait a sport, historic SpaceX IPO. I I've looked into this um SpaceX IPO. This will, as uh Elon Musk will still control 80% of the shares once this IPO goes public, he will increase his net worth by a boatload of cash. And that will get him closer to, I believe, his ultimate goal, which is to become back. All right, where we have John Truman Wolf. And I was just going over the markets, uh, John Truman Wolf, and we're talking about the SpaceX IPO, how Elon Musk will still control 80% of the stock once it goes public, and that will get him closer to be his ultimate goal of being the world's first trillionaire. All right, Mike Ari, back to John Truman Wolf.
SPEAKER_15Uh uh thanks, Mike. Uh sorry, a little technical glitch there. Uh yeah, I read um an article that said he was the trillionaire. So I think the what the IPO is tomorrow, I believe, if I'm not mistaken. I think it's tomorrow, isn't it? Um and they're gonna issue it at uh open it at uh is it 135 bucks or 165 bucks, something like that, uh which will make him the world's first trillionaire. Uh kind of hard to get that's a lot of m that's a lot of money. Um he is uh uh a genius, this guy. Um he has his um, I don't know, stump his toe personally on a couple of things, but uh this guy is out there. This guy is um, you know, he he wears his t-shirt, which is uh seems to be among uh his major uh goals in life, you know, uh uh live on Mars. Uh that's coming. Um you know, I don't know that it's coming in my lifetime, but it's coming. People will be uh living there. Um Trump is is targeting uh some some uh bases on the moon uh soon, I th I think next year. Uh and from there it it it goes to Mars. Um as far as um as far as Musk is concerned, uh, you know, he he's a very he's a brilliant guy, and uh uh he has uh companies that reflect his brilliance, and uh uh SpaceX is is is certainly certainly one of them. Um uh before I uh uh lost uh lost you there a little bit earlier, we're talking about uh celebrity endorsements of of products and and whether that affects them. Um there are a n you know, there are a number of them uh where uh the celebrities endorsement doesn't seem to do much, and there are others where uh celebrity endorsement uh does a great deal, and um uh there's a they have to be careful with what they do. I have a friend that has a company uh and that's all they do. They they uh they are a broker of uh celebrity endorsements. So, you know, if you sell this soap and they want um Kim Kardashian uh endorsing it, they could they call this guy, and this guy then negotiates uh the deal with uh the celebrity's manager. Um uh yeah, needless to say, it's a big business and um it is a it's it's positioning that corporate America uses. You know, if you tie your product to um uh a celebrity, uh you know, theoretically theoretically it will bump sales. Uh it does it sometimes, it doesn't do it sometimes. Okay, we're gonna take a short break and come back with a final segment. Uh, right after this, I'm John Truman Wolfe. This is a John Truman Wolf Financial Hour.

SPEAKER_15Okay, folks, we are back for the final segment here. John Truman Wolf with the John Truman Wolf Financial Hour. Let me take a second to make a recommendation, an investment recommendation. I have been studying the graphene, graphite uh industry of late. Um, and uh that that's a a mineral that most people have not heard. I wouldn't say they haven't heard of it, but it's not uh on the top of anybody's um investment list or most people's investment lists. Uh, but it is a critical mineral, uh, a strategically critical mineral. Why? Because it is the uh major element in uh lithium-ion batteries. Um so what's the big deal about lithium ion batteries? Well, they're used by electrical vehicles, uh computers, phones, um uh the battery market is huge and growing, driven uh to a to a large degree by the electrical vehicle market, uh and um uh you know other uses of of uh uh lithium-ion batteries, which uh those pro those products use. I have found a uh very unique um uh graphite, uh graphene graphite, uh those are two slightly different things. They're cousins. Um uh company. It's called Hydrograph Power. Um let me recommend it. This has got um uh some unique properties. They've got some unique properties that are uh exclusive to their graphene. Um the um I I happened to listen to a um uh a podcast uh on Jay Taylor's uh show. Jay Taylor's uh uh uh uh money manager and and uh he has a newsletter and he was interviewing the president of um Hydrograph, it's Hydrograph Power. Uh uh take some time folks and do a little investigation of it. Uh I am a huge fan. The interview uh you can go to Jay Taylor's uh um site and the interview is still up there. Um I bought some after the interview, I bought some. It was trading at like 70 some odd cents. I don't I don't know if this is 72, 70 cents, 70 some odd cents. Uh it went up um uh I think to a couple I can't I I I bought some more, uh I think at around two bucks. So it's currently trading at at just under five dollars. So uh this uh uh graphene company, uh Hydrograph Power, I recommend it again. Started at 70 cents, it's now up seven hundred percent uh and I think it's got a long ways to go. Um this is a unique market, the graphene market uh is controlled mostly by China. So um it is a strategic asset in the United States. There's a lot of uh both government and corporate attention on mining it because the Chinese uh right now control somewhere between 80 and 90 percent of the market. Uh there are companies in the U.S. that are um working diligently to uh create uh uh companies that uh produce this product, and um uh this hydrograph power is one of them. I highly recommend it. Uh again, it's only five bucks. Okay, I'm John Truman Wolf. This is a John Truman Wolf Financial Hour. We're with you every week at this time, same time, same station. Uh, and um we will look forward to talking to you next week. Hopefully the war will be over then. That's my uh that's that's my hope. Um and uh if so, the market will uh be soaring. I'm John German Wolf, John German Wolf Financial Lover. We'll see you next week. Bye, folks.
