Hi, everybody. John Truman Wolfe here with the John Truman Wolf Financial Hour. Thank you for joining us on this uh beautiful day, uh broadcasting live from the Los Padras National Forest north of Los Angeles. Magnificent day up here, sun shining, no clouds. Uh, and uh it's warm. And it's probably hotter where you are because we're usually about 20 degrees uh cooler than uh uh LA. Uh anyway, we'll we'll take off uh today uh with the uh uh investment sectors. Uh everybody's uh happy today, everything is up. The the Dow, well not everything, because the NASDAQ went down, but the Dow is up about 600 points, uh uh pushing at 53,000. Um I saw one video by a uh a guy who thinks it's uh ready for a bust. Um if a bust is coming, uh in my opinion, not in the in the near future. Um so the Dow was up, uh gold was uh up, uh trading at 4100 change per ounce, uh silver uh up to about uh 60 bucks an ounce. Um both of those are lower than they have been uh in the past. I mean, these are these are um kind of crawling out of dips, uh, but uh today they're up. Um in addition to that, um, speaking of uh the crypto markets, uh there uh you know bitcoins trading uh in excess of 61,000. Um if you look at the graph over the last year, um it's it was uh uh been about uh a year and uh it's been about six, let me see where in July, in November it started coming off of its uh higher uh trading range, um over a hundred thousand, and then it uh has slowly crashed over the last uh what is that, six, seven months. Um it got as low, I saw it get as low as 59. It may have even dipped lower than that, not that I saw, but um down to 59. But it's been inching up the last few days. Uh today trading at 61 and change, uh up uh uh I think a thousand points today. So uh the markets are generally up. Um uh mortgage rates are trading at about or yeah, trading, if I guess you can say, because they do trade at about um uh six and a half percent. And there are signs that the that the real estate market is perking up. Uh there hasn't been, it's not because rates are down. Well, they got as high as you know, roughly seven, and um trickled down, uh, look look like they were gonna really come down. They got down to about, I think, 6.2, and then it bounced back up and they're trading at around 6.5, um, which um uh shouldn't necessarily in and of itself be a big deal for the for the real estate market, but um uh that market is beginning to show signs of life. Uh, our good friend Mike Letz, and we usually take uh the beginning of the show here to talk some uh politics. I think that's a little bit of wishful thinking. I will tell you this, though, to where uh JD trying to get a valid point. The Democratic Party seems to be in the path of self-destruction. You know, over the last 30 days, all of their communist candidates have beat out their fellow Democratic office holders in primaries. So the leftist extreme aspect of the party seems to be dominating.

Uh it's it su it sure does. I mean, um uh years ago I did some, I think I've mentioned to you or maybe not, I don't even remember, but uh I represented a nonprofit on the hill uh often. Um uh and uh one of the people that I uh uh actually was in opposition to at that time, but who had a lot of power was Diane Deget from uh Colorado. And this this wild uh you know communist uh beat her pants down yesterday. Was it yesterday or the day before? Yeah, I mean uh she had a lot of power. I was shocked. So uh take it taking your point, and then I've seen some of the comments by some of these people. I mean, the guy up there uh head-to-head with Susan Collins, this guy is a piece of work. Um uh and then uh you've got Colorado, I think um was it was it three um three lefties that that knocked traditional Democrats out of their offices in Colorado? I think it was three.

That is correct. And in New York, you had a House member, a U.S. Congress member, they got knocked uh by a uh leftist. She has gone so far as to say all prisons need to be uh open and all prisoners' prisons need to be shut down. A state senator got knocked by the leftist liberal in New York. Basically, almost every race that they have run in, whether it's been a congressional, federal, state, or local, they have won. In the primaries. I understand, in the primaries.

I I you know, I've I've I've seen that, and I'm uh maybe I'm just uh getting old or uh, you know, stuck in the past, but I'm my thinking is this is gonna hurt the Democratic Party big time because I don't think um, you know, quote, voting America, uh even, you know, even the more traditional Democrats go for the kind of garbage that some of these people are putting out. Uh, like you just mentioned, you know, no police, no uh Department of Homeland Security. Um these people are are at least uh that's my at least that's my uh that's my point.

His position now is we're gonna experiment with a government-run grocery store. What do they mean by government-run? Free. You go get your groceries for free. Now they said, oh, this is so successful, we want to do five of them. They are determined, and here's what people say, what's wrong with that? You want the government telling you whether you could eat or not? Because if you don't do what they say, it's very simple. You don't get groceries this week. We just took you off the list. You don't get it. And here's what they're doing. They're not just saying let's add some free grocery stores in case you can't afford it. They want to shut down the grocery stores that are poor the uh that are private and have it all be just public candidates. So here's what how they respond. This is really shocking. So you have the democratic uh regular democratic uh elected officials holding their nose saying, Oh, well, uh, I guess if they got elected as a Democrat, we're gonna support them in November. Now you would think these leftist liberals would come out and say, Well, geez, at least thank for your support. But King Jeffries said that to these two members in New York, and here's where the Carol's response: you're next. We're taking you out next. They are after every single mainstream, and I don't like to use the word mainstream, moderate democrat, whatever word you want to call them, and they are determined to replace it with the communist. That is where the direction of the Democratic Party is going.

Vance's wishful thinking about AOC may have been a little bit overblown, but this woman has come from being uh a bartender uh uh you know a few years ago to being uh uh promoted uh for the presidency. I mean, uh um I I'm not uh I'm needless to say I'm not a fan of of what she proposes, but this girl has gotten her face in the front of media and uh the the party's paying attention to her.

Well, there's no question. I mean she's a great tool. When I made the statement that I do when we first got on the show, it's not that I'm saying that she won't be being used, but they're gonna put her out there, let her catch all the flax, all the shrapnel, et cetera. They'll bring in somebody saying values that just hasn't been carrying the baggage, and then they'll put her on the ticket. But for her to be the lead of the ticket, I think is a little bit of wishful thinking.

I mean, uh a lot of these people have been uh as you note, uh they've won primaries. Um I think November will uh no November will tell tell the tale. I think the president's gotta wrap up this this war. Uh the uh you know, it's it's unpopular, it's not it's not good generally, it's not good for him, it's not good for the administration. Um and uh open up that strait. Um you know, the the the the you uh uh Trump says one thing and then the IRGC says something else. Um so um he's still got his hands.

Uh we've got a you know, very interesting, what is it, five months in front of us? Uh July, August, September, October. Yeah, five months. Um and I think these midterms are among the most important midterms that have ever ever been conducted. Uh a lot of these very liberal um Democrats, well, they're not Democrats. Democrats, some of them are just plain socialists and say so. Um it's a it's a it's a little uh it's a little strange what's happening to the Democratic Party. If I were in leadership of the Democratic Party, I'd be freaking out right now uh because they have uh won a number of uh a number of elections. But we've got uh five months to go. Uh as I said to uh Mike Letz, uh the president's gotta end this war. Um it's uh it's dragging the IRGC uh uh apparently has control of the of the uh straits there. Uh I I I I don't know. I don't have enough information to tell to tell Pete Heggseth what to do. Uh but um uh how they uh assert control of it, I don't I don't quite know. Uh I know they mandate the ships, uh uh the path of the ships, and if you look at that straight, it's very narrow. Uh and they have uh you know rockets and and and missiles and so forth um uh in bunkers or in silos uh along that coast, but I would think uh if needed the US could take those out. Anyway, that's a a touch of um a touch of politics. We'll see. We've got, as I said, five months in front of us. Uh more to the point of uh crypto investing and so forth. Um I happen to get the price on uh XRP uh last night. I was a little bit shocked. Uh XRP, for those of you that have been following the show for um the last actually few years, um has been the one, it was under attack by the Securities uh Securities and Exchange Commission for being a um a security, uh and that the lawsuit went on and on. I reported on it regularly. Uh and then the Trump administration came in and is much more, much more crypto friendly than the Biden administration. And uh that uh threat is gone. Um and uh XRP um uh was uh I'm just trying to think here, got us high at about three dollars and sixty-five cents. Um uh XRP is the um uh the the coin of uh of of a company called Ripple. And um they have a great I've talked about this before, but they have a great tech and uh technology in my opinion. I'm a former banker, and they have a facility that uh facilitates the transfer of international transactions um uh much quicker, much smoother, much uh less expensive than the current Swift system. Um SWIFT is the name of the current uh system uh uh by which uh you know uh uh trades of that nature get done. Um so um and they just made uh they've made some recent deals with uh I think JP Morgan and some of the other big banks. So uh the big banks have adopted them. There's even been talk in the past uh that XRP would replace the Swift system. Uh that was more like, you know, educated rumors, but that's how good the XRP system is that people talk about it as replacing the Swift system. And all of that said, folks, the price of XRP is a is is is a dollar in change, um which is a little bit um I think it's one of the great uh potential buys uh going forward. So call 888-6650596 today that's 88860596 and manage your diabetes as easy as all right folks we are back and we're talking about XRP this um crypto uh uh produced by a company called Ripple uh and it was as high as uh three dollars and sixty five cents and is currently trading uh for uh I think it's about a buck ten a buck twenty uh something like that it's a dollar in change um uh it which is just striking to me and I think um hear me well because we're at what July 2nd uh 2026 uh I think this is one of the the top buys you could possibly make um because it's a uh company with a great uh product it has great clients uh you know the biggest banks in the world are our clients uh that use its uh service which is uh international money transfer service among other things uh they do a bunch I don't uh uh have a list of all of the services that they provide but this um uh money transfer service is a big deal um and so uh given that it's uh trading for a buck and change I think it's a great buy I t I t I did some research on why it uh is so low why it lost its luster I mean the crypto market has been down let's face it um uh if you're one of those that think it's gonna continue to go down I said who did I read um somebody I can't even remember who it was who said crypto market's going to zero um I uh you know I I have the opposite point of view um but um if you understand that the crypto market is going to um uh expand uh one of the reasons that this um research showed that um XRP was down is that it is very closely tied to um uh coin uh to uh Bitcoin uh so as Bitcoin go to a very certain degree not exactly but uh I think the article said eighty some odd percent um if you know Bitcoin goes this way so too does um XRP um that doesn't make a lot of economic sense uh but it's something that exists it uh it's it's tied to Bitcoin in ways uh frankly I don't fully understand but uh as we know uh it's been down down um uh the uh crypto market's been down so um anyway that that's uh that that's the st that's the story there it's tied to um it's tied to um I've I'm sorry uh my uh my cell rang and I was concerned that we had drop perhaps dropped off the air I don't think so uh Mike okay um I thought you were calling me to nudge me there um anyway um that's it that's my pitch on XRP I think it's a great buy at a dollar and change uh I think it was a I think it was a it was a dollar and twelve cents something like that um and uh I think this uh uh you know this crypto is gonna fly uh it was at 365 I was recommending it and I think it'll go much higher than that so uh if you're uh at all um in in the in the market interested in perhaps sticking your toe into the uh cryptocurrency market um you know cover yourself with the big with the big guys with Bitcoin and Ethereum but um if you're gonna pick up a uh uh a third uh coin uh that's one I would uh high recommend. Um there's uh actually an article that on California uh may affect the price of um of XRP let's see California's digital financial assets law a mouthful god knows what bureaucra bureaucracy this is will take effect on july one it requires any firm conducting digital asset business activity with state residents to hold a DFAL license and have a completed application on file with the DFPI that's some department I think or cease covered uh options right now as of uh public record no ripple entity appears among the applicants XRP's price has has fallen below a dollar uh oh here's a price fallen below the dollar ten level uh at this moment of uncertainty DFAL covers the exchange of digit digital assets for fiat or other assets their transfer between persons custody uh and the issuance of reserve reserved back uh uh instruments it maps directly onto Ripple's California facing operations payments and blah blah blah the article goes on uh ripple's existing portfolio of forty plus US money transmitter licenses does not automatically satisfy uh this California law uh this law is separate uh a separate regime administrated by the DFPI through national multi-state licensing systems you know just more more more br bureaucracy from uh your favorite governor Gavin Newsome um uh Newsom has managed I think particularly in the last year uh ongoing but particularly more recently to to really um uh mess up his chances for um his presidential run he has been uh on the uh I was gonna say on the ballot not really on the ballot but it has been his intention to run for the presidency since he was the mayor of San Francisco uh we're gonna take a quick break and we'll come back and talk about uh Governor Newsom uh when we come back. Uh I think there are other potential uh candidates in the um uh democratic side that uh are gonna uh make uh his run um uh less and less viable as he goes forward. I've been watching this guy for a long time uh from the time he was mayor of San Francisco and having an intimate uh relationship with his best friend's wife this is the morals of this guy uh he's having an affair a full-blown affair with his best friend's wife the two of the couple is working for him when he's the mayor of San Francisco uh uh and the guy is his best friend and again the his best friend's wife was his secretary or something like that and he starts uh doing the horizontal mambo with his best friend's wife uh it finally makes the press in San Francisco uh and he you know makes this excuse well I'm drinking too much wine I I I I I have to cut back on my wine consumption I will join a program to handle my drinking trying to imply that his uh unethical conduct was a result of drinking too much wine the fact is he never did anything um uh to uh uh correct it or go to any programs or uh I don't think he I mean he has problems I don't think drinking is one of them frankly um and uh you know he was he was he was despite all this folks he was reelected uh it's like some of the elections that have been taking place uh uh on a national level uh I have a hard time getting my head around um you know several of these things this guy um uh is uh you know he's several bottles short of a six pack he is he's a he's a communist he doesn't he's he's not ashamed of it um not born here born in Africa uh so you know what are the people in in in in in in New York doing and um uh Karen Bass uh just made a mess of the LA fires um I have my office in um uh Pasadena was uh threatened thank god it you know didn't it we didn't it did the fire didn't get to us there um but um you know she's over in I think it was Ghana having you know attending uh uh a wedding or something like that and you know having a few drinks while uh the fire uh went so anyway she's just an example of this kind of uh politician she's not as bad as some of them um uh certain but but uh she is um a typical uh you know a typical democratic uh legislator uh governor um by governor I mean somebody govern governing things is you know various elective offices and she you know she's the mayor of the second largest city in the country and uh you know follow her uh press releases it makes you weep um and she's not as bad as I mean what just happened in in Colorado uh which I talked with uh Michaeletz a bit about um I remember Diane Deget um uh when I was doing some uh representing a nonprofit on the hill for some years and we would run into her um as she had opposition to some of the things we were doing. Okay, we are back with the final segment, folks. Um, as I do always in the final segment of the show, let me promote our newsletter, uh Strategic Financial Intelligence. Um we could covering uh uh crypto, and I think the uh coming months for crypto uh uh is gonna are gonna be very, very important. Uh we cover precious metals closely, uh, have made some nice recommendations with uh precious metals and made some handsome gains. Um and uh the other markets um I don't get into stocks too much. Um real estate some real estate uh uh I mentioned earlier in the show appears to be uh you know bouncing. It's had a rough um you know, I don't know, few years uh given high interest rates which have uh blocked uh young homeowners out of the market. Uh the rates down from seven to six and a half, uh I I think it still has uh a long way to go, but I don't know about a long way, but it still has a ways to go. Uh you can there's some handsome tax deductions available. And of course in uh Los Angeles you've got the uh appreciation, ongoing appreciation. You know, will there be dips? There will be, no question. No question. Uh but long term uh I think um multifamily real estate is great. Uh I've just spent a bunch of time talking about uh XRP. I think it's a great buy. Uh I'm still very high on the precious metals. Uh they have been down. I think they will uh you know, they're in a bull market. Uh they have come down from their tops, they meaning gold and silver, uh, but I think they will recover uh and uh and continue up. So um uh we just published a uh newsletter um and uh made some very strong recommendations um about is uh part of uh lithium-ion batteries, uh the demand for which is huge, from uh electric vehicles to cell phones to laptops, etc. etc. So uh uh and I made some recommendations for a company, a graphene company, which I think is a very good buy. So in stocks, graphene, precious metals, yes. Uh in crypto, um, you know, buy some of this XRP. I think you'll do well. All right, I'm John Truman Wolf.
