True freedom isn't found in perfect rule-following, but in a genuine relationship with Jesus. Through examples of suffering and surrender, this text shows how abiding in God's Word isn't about checking spiritual boxes—it's about developing an authentic connection with Christ that changes us from the inside out.  Jesus does not have slaves, He has sons.
