verses 4 to 5. 00:04:53.759 --> 00:05:04.160 He says that the sun is like a bridegroom who leaves his chamber in all glory, beauty, and magnificence, the sun rises each morning. 00:05:05.439 --> 00:05:17.680 This text talks about the sun moving through the universe from one end to the sky to the other, following a kind of circuit through vast space. 00:05:18.959 --> 00:05:24.399 This hymn of David can be seen in several ways. 00:05:24.720 --> 00:05:31.680 The author speaks of non-verbal revelation and then a verbal revelation. 00:05:32.720 --> 00:05:36.720 One unwritten revelation and one don't know where it is. 00:08:02.879 --> 00:08:04.079 God where it is. 00:08:05.680 --> 00:08:26.240 This is like uh I often uh happen in our experience when we have to drive, and maybe happen to you too, um driving 95 or any road in America, and then uh uh you turn the station, radio station, and let's say 91.9, and uh keep driving, and suddenly you remember that, right? 00:08:26.399 --> part of the psalm is usually used for to reach maybe unbelievers trying to present the gospel, this message of creation is meant for us as well. 00:10:32.480 --> 00:10:40.879 The creation is there says, Meditation is the soul that withdraws itself. 00:14:08.399 --> 00:14:14.399 When the Christian is ready to meditate, he turns away from things that distract. 00:14:15.360 --> 00:14:24.000 The Hebrew word for meditation means to remember and intentionally put thoughts together. 00:14:24.320 --> 00:14:27.759 It's not superficially, intentionally. 00:14:28.720 --> 00:14:34.399 In the Old Testament, Isaac went out to meditate in the field before meeting Rebekah. 00:14:34.799 --> 00:14:37.919 God counseled Joshua to do so. 00:14:38.320 --> 00:14:43.919 The prophet Ahai exhorted people to meditate well on their ways. 00:14:45.039 --> 00:14:48.799 Mary practiced deep meditation for a long time. 00:14:49.120 --> 00:14:57.120 Luke 1, verses 5 says, But Mary kept all these things, pondering them in her heart. 00:14:59.200 --> 00:15:09.279 Thomas Watson says, We have to turn away from the things that distract, and then we will have the best perspective of heaven. 00:15:10.960
