Land Advisory Board Director and Chief of Dokis First Nation Gerry Duquette reflects on the journey of how the land code came to be passed and, how having jurisdiction over their own land has helped to change a lot for Dokis First Nation. Chief Duquette helps to clarify some land code myths that his community had and the stability and security his community now enjoys with their land code in place.
