Bums of Manarchy
3 knuckleheads in Chicago, talking shit. For fun. The “Bums of Manarchy” is a Chicago-based podcast, hosted by 3 friends. Our weekly format is recorded in two parts. The first half content is all about sports, and the second half is for everything else (beer reviews, life hacks, complaints, knowledge drops, geo-political issues, streaming show reviews, etc.). Sports in the front, party in the back. Give us a listen! We take listener requests seriously!

B.O.M. - Episode 0022 - Mick (sic) Drop
In Episode 0022, the Bums tackle geo sporting issues in Part 1, to include trying to understand who from the City of Oakland crapped in a nuns hat (why are teams moving away, including rumors around the Oakland A’s baseball club), celebrating DFA’d MLB player and future HOF’er Albert Pujols, the ridiculousness of Tim TE-Bow’s reemergence with the Jacksonville Jags (appropriate), the doping scandal surrounding this year’s Kentucky Derby winner, Medina Spirit (thanks to professional cheater Bob Baffert), a Northside / Southside debate around who has the best MLB short stop, a disappointing but unsurprising revelation from Rocky’s alma mater where the Scumbag of the Week trophy is firmly handed to Mike Polisky (Northwestern University’s former, disgraced AD), and Paddy previews a new NFL in-game experience coming soon to fans Las Vegas.
The Bums christen Part 2 with another beer review (Old Irving Brewing’s newest creation— a “session” IPA named Conjurer), discussion around the Chicago Craft Beer scene including an interesting locale double-switch between Half Acre and Hop Butcher, Eddie blows up Hyundai’s Santa Fe stupid kid detector feature in another SIMS installment, the Bums contemplate the real rationale around why gun reform may never happen, before pivoting to the real possibility of having a Tween version of Instagram (Tweenstagram, copyright 2021), a preview of Dave Chappelle’s interview with Joe Rogan focused on Dave’s Kindness Conspiracy Theory (JRE, Episode #1647), a brief run down of 2021’s “Rock n Roll” Hall of Fame inductees, before closing with a Paddy-rific mic drop and related call to action.
Recorded on May 13, at B.O.M. global headquarters East in Chicago, IL USA.
