B.O.M. - Episode 0028 - Bone to Pick

The Bums are back in action, with our first official show at Paddy’s Cave, B.O.M. HQ South, as the recording locale rotisserie circle is now complete; Italy wins Euro’s soccer championship over England and Rocky’s Sicilian roots rejoice (btw Eddie, the saying goes “All Sicilians are Italian, but not all Italian’s are Sicilian”); English soccer fans are pretty much dicks, Argentina wins the Pan-Am soccer championship; Future NHL HOF defenceman Duncan Keith is now an Edmonton Oiler, Paddy throws down Duncan Keith facts;  Team USA’s men’s basketball team sucks a bag of you know whats; the Bums discuss the magnetic field that is MMA and UFC’s and human cock fighting; SBOTW Greg Hardy goes nighty-nighty, poetic justice prevails as Conor McCunt loses by TKO due to an ankle that snapped apart like a Lego brick; NHL Tampa Bay Lightning go back-to-back, NBA Finals update, Eddie is not impressed with the Deer’s coaching decisions and favors the Suns to win; MLB Trade deadline looms large, Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna as trade bait (gulp); discussion around the White Sox’ “warm stove”; the MLB All Star game get’s zero bum love ; and lastly, Stephen A. Fuckface gets de-pantsed. 

On the flip-side, “some” of the Bums conduct a site visit at Ravinia Brewing’s Diversey Ave locale in Chicago; the Bums review two, low-octane beers —Grunsfeld Motueka Dry-Hopped Lager (4.9%ABV)— and their Diversey Station Juicy Session Pale Ale (4.9% ABV); Paddy earns a stripe (congrats); Rocky and Eddie mobilize and visit Union Pier, MI, results in an impromptu review of three nearby breweries, Beer Church Brewing, Ghost Isle Brewery and Seedz Brewery; a review of Chiraq on the Fourth of July, and related fallout; Rocky previews a fly-fishing junket in New Mexico on the San Juan river (with Nicky Fish Hooks), before closing on a Free Britney rant.
