The back page turns with another kickass Beer review with “Snow Demon” (ABV 10%), a popular, annual Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout fromJackalope Brewing Company in Nashville, best known for its rich coffee (Frothy Monkey) and cacao (Olive & Sinclair) notes — slightly thinner than most Winter ass-kickers but flavor forward; Holiday Bye Week on the docket; a pair of Chow Reports with Ja Grill and Puesto; Paddy reports on Chicago’s infamous, dedicated bike lanes (because hipsters must get their way); Susan Dell is a scary looking mess (please stop); and close with thoughtful Holiday season advice.
