The Voice of the Verdict

Yesterday, Donald Trump the former president of the United States and current candidate to the presidential election was found guilty on all 34 (thirty-four) felony counts of falsifying business records. The falsifying of records was meant to hide a 130,000 (one hundred and thirty thousand) dollar payment made to a porn actress named Stormy Daniels to avoid a sex scandal at the end of his 2016 presidential campaign.

The 12 (twelve) jurors deliberated for 2 days and came back with a unanimous guilty verdict.

Judge Juan Merchan scheduled the sentencing for July 11.

Will Donald Trump go to jail?

Will he have to pay a fine?

Will he do community service?

The future will tell.

The Voice of Bankrupcy

The popular food chain “Red Lobster” is turning the page after it filed for bankruptcy in Florida.

The chain already closed a dozen restaurants there.

In Canada, the chain is under bankruptcy protection as it is trying to save its locations in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.

Their future is uncertain as many factors such as inflation, the rising costs of leases, a decrease in customers and the endless shrimp offer have put the business in jeopardy.

The food chain is doing its best to get back on its feet to avoid final closure.

Will it succeed?

Only the future will tell.
