Today, I will quickly cover the difference between “nobody” and “anybody”.

-          “Nobody” is a synonym of “no one”. “Nobody”
is used in “positive” sentences (meaning that the verb is positive). For example: Nobody is here. Nobody
believed them at the time.

-          “Anybody” is used in negative sentences (meaning that the verb is negative). For example: He doesn’t like anybody. They didn’t find anybody to help them.

Please note that both structures are synonyms: There is nobody = there isn’t anybody.

“Anybody can also be used without a verb in the negative. In that case, it means “any person”. For example: Anybody can join.
