Recorded from our bunker-in-a-missile-silo vibe and then brought straight into real-world Minnesota politics, this conversation puts one big question on the table: why does it feel like nobody is in charge of accountability anymore? We’re joined in studio by Tyler Bass, the Republican nominee for Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District, and we challenge him to explain what he’s seeing on the ground and what he’d actually try to change if he lands in Washington, DC.

We start with a cultural flashpoint around provocation, public backlash, and the limits of free speech, then move into hard accusations about stock trading, ethics, and what voters call insider advantage. From there, we hit the issues that keep showing up in search and in real life: abortion law in Minnesota and what’s state-level versus federal; how party endorsements and primaries really work; and why campaign messaging matters to people who still think of themselves as “in the middle.”

The core of the episode is Minnesota fraud and oversight, including alleged nonprofit abuse, Medicaid billing problems, and congregate care homes that create major costs for cities through constant calls for service. We also dig into election integrity and voter ID through the SAVE Act, immigration enforcement and job competition, and the privacy tradeoffs of Flock Safety cameras and license plate readers in a world where data breaches are routine. If you care about government spending, public safety, civil liberties, and how a candidate thinks under pressure, you’ll get plenty to chew on here.

Subscribe for more long-form local accountability talks, share this with a Minnesota voter, and leave a review with the one issue you want hammered next.

Cold Open And Guest Arrival

SPEAKER_05

Speaker recorded from deep inside the bowels of a decommissioned missile silo, we bring you the man, one single man, who wants to bring light to the darkness and dark to the lightness. Although he's not always right, he is always certain. So now, with security protocols in place, the protesters have been forced back behind the barricades and the blast doors are now sealed. Without further delay, let me introduce you to the host of podcast, Mr. Tim Hutner.

Free Speech And The Jake Lang Dispute

SPEAKER_02

All right, welcome back to the show. I'm pre-roll. In my intro, I introduced you to a Tyler Bass, CD3, if I remember right. Tyler, are you there? I'm here. Well, you are in live in studio, and I'll tell you what, I appreciate you coming out and having a conversation with us on this Sunday to give up your Sunday and have this conversation. Thank you for having me. What uh boy, where where can we start? How how about if we have a little conversation about this guy, Jake Lang in Minnesota here?

SPEAKER_01

Oh man. That I saw on Facebook. It's all over Facebook, it's all over X. Um that's not good. Right. That guy, he's he's attention seeking, he's he's racist, he's I don't know what what his motive, you know, for going out there and doing this stuff. It's it's crazy. Um, he's been doing it in Dearborn, everywhere else too, but you know, it's not okay.

SPEAKER_02

It's it's very difficult. Uh you know, I did a show a while back and it says free speech isn't free un until it starts to cost you. Well, I I would imagine that this guy is having this epiphany with the police department now. Um, whatever his motives are. I mean, we still, you know, you know, the the the the left wants to hang on to this First Amendment no matter what, and then this guy wants to come along and do some first amendment stuff, and then they all want to start beating a snot out of him. I mean, I I get the fact that he can. Sometimes you can, and it doesn't mean you should.

SPEAKER_01

No. And how was he as a kid? Was he like this as a kid, or did something happen where all of a sudden this this goes on with him? He's looking for attention. Um, you know, what's his as I say, like what's his motive? Like, why is he doing it? Is he doing it for click for for for clicks? Right. Is he is he getting paid off of TikTok for views, or you know, it's just you see him everywhere, so obviously he's getting traction, but he's he's a bad guy, you know.

SPEAKER_02

So I I don't agree with his his actions, but you know, he still has a first memory just like everybody else does.

SPEAKER_01

True, but you know, it can only go so far, right? I mean he told people that he was coming to Minneapolis and he showed up with his team, and and I don't personally I just don't agree with that at all, and that's uh pretty bad. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

He's uh he's definitely getting attention. I don't know if it's the most stuff he wants, but I mean he keeps going for it. And what was he last fall or last winter? Was he knocking down the ice numbers down at the Capitol? Yep, yep, exactly. And uh he came back. I thought he was told to leave town, never come back, type of thing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he got arrested for that too. And you know, I don't know, free speech, it is what it is, but at the end of the day, um like dismantling that that sculpture and then this, I mean, obviously,

Stock Profits And War Allegations

SPEAKER_01

like yeah, he's he's um he's getting funding from somewhere.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Right. I mean, I I got this wonderful t-shirt for you today, and I'm gonna post it on my website, on the Facebook site. It says D3's got busted for infraud. What a great, great t-shirt. Uh vote Red Minnesota, vote Tyler Bass for C D three. It's got a picture of Ilhan and who's the guy on the center?

SPEAKER_01

Kelly Morrison.

SPEAKER_02

And then Waltz with his hands out. So we got two people with the money and one people with wanting the money. What a great shirt.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that was uh I I handed those t-shirts out, you know, during the campaign to to anybody that wanted one. Is I had a lot of shirts and and people loved it because Kelly Morrison, as you know, um, she's she invested into a company called Saronic. And what Saronic is, it was it's an autonomous attack drone ship. So it's a 50-foot boat that is used from some kid in a submarine is using a joystick to control this this boat. And but nine days after the war with Iran, uh the government, well, our guys got shot down in Iran, the helicopter pilots. And the government used this drone to go in there and rescue them. And sure enough, she made about a hundred thousand dollars in that first week that she invested in this company. And which is like what most people make in a year. She invested forty thousand, they say anywhere from ten to fifty thousand. They're not gonna say how much. But Carol Evans did a story on her, everybody else did, and she vowed to remove the stocks and not to invest in this company anymore. But the damage is done. I mean, she's a war profiteer now. She's she made money off of our soldiers getting shot down. I mean, how bad can it get? And she's a congresswoman. How how else would she know about this this stock or this company without being a congresswoman? Right. She got insider knowledge or government contracts where she could view them. Right. And then she went out, called her stock broker, said invest in this company. And that's not okay. A lot of people right now, you know, in C D three are tired of you know hearing about our congressman investing into stocks and insider trading. Like, we don't need another Nancy Pelosi, you know, in C D three. And that's basically what she is. To me, she is. Um, you know, because of the stock trades and how much she's worth, and she's not doing anything for like I'm I'm a resident of C D three and she she's she doesn't do anything for us at all. So boy.

SPEAKER_02

You know, you gotta wonder how how did that set up? I mean, I don't know what she does for a living other than this, but if you were to get some insider trading points, I mean it's kind of a thing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so there's there's a lot of companies that out there that are watching like her stock trades and and but she was OBGYN doctor. I don't know if she still holds her license or not. She still calls herself doctor, but I don't know if she still is or not. But the whole thing is, is she um endorsed the bill that allows for uh abortions to go up to nine months up to term and even live births too. And with that too, a lot of the I'm pro-life, but with a lot of people who are pro-choice, they don't agree with that. You know, going all the way up to term.

Abortion Policy And Where Power Sits

SPEAKER_02

Right. What was it like uh I heard I heard some story, I don't know if it's been verified, but uh two weeks prior to birth?

SPEAKER_01

Um I believe it is two weeks prior to birth, but even if it is a abortion at that time, it the baby can still be alive.

SPEAKER_05

Right.

SPEAKER_01

And when they abort the baby, it can be on a table and until it dies. They're not to resuscitate the baby at all, even even if it is alive. So to me it's inhumane. I of course I'm pro-life, and and but it is Roe versus Wade, and it's Minnesota, it's at the state level, so it's not a federal issue. So we won't have any say in it at all, but that's what we you know have to let people know too. At the federal level, we have no say. Right.

SPEAKER_02

They tried to do that at city council level, too. What do you think about this? I'm like, well, if Roe v. Wade makes it down to the city council, we'll let you know. Exactly. Oh, geez. And what was that? Um how is the how is it that the Dems put this in pro profile? The if you injure somebody or kill somebody that's carrying a baby, it's it's murder. Murder, yeah. But if you go in there to terminate, it's not murder.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's actually double homicide.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Right. How how does that work?

SPEAKER_01

You know, I don't know. It's it's different. Democrats think a lot differently than I think uh most common sense people do. And there's a lot of people in the middle, you know, CD3 just across the board. There's a lot of people who are in the middle, but I believe that the the Republican Party is a party of common sense, law and order, everything that we would live by. But then the Democrats, they they're fueled up on rage, for one, and um, they come up with these radical ideas like the DSA, Democrats, Socialists of America. And with that, they want to dismantle the whole Senate, the presidency, like our government as we know it. And Kelly Morrison, Ilhan Omar, Peggy Flanagan, you know, Amy Klobushar, they're all part of that DSA. And slowly but surely they're trying to, you know, get into it and convert the DF. There's no more DFL anymore.

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_01

So that's that's that's the route that they're going. Um and to us Republicans, we're still rooted, you know? Mm-hmm. So, yeah, we're not changing. Right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no, I I you gotta just sit back and go, and you talk to the guys who have the old school Democrats, the um way back in the 60s, 70s, those kind of guys. And they're still around today, the the centers, shall we say? And you talk about the new DSAers and they're like, well, no, it's still a it's still a DSA or a Democrat, so we

Party Shifts And The DSA Claim

SPEAKER_02

have to we have to stick with our party. And you're like, you you ain't getting that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No, it's changing 100%.

SPEAKER_02

And they they refuse to believe that. Yeah. Well, that's up to them whether they believe it or not. But I I see a difference in it. And it's just a matter of time before the party beats up with the party. I mean, look at our our primary. We we had two Democrats running for the same seat. And they were one was endorsed, one was one wasn't. And and Flanagan was endorsed, but really the other one wasn't?

SPEAKER_01

Same, same with how I won. Is you know, I was not the endorsed candidate. I did almost all of the conventions across uh CD three, and Quinton, he received I think 170 votes, where I received 50. So I was just under um like getting a second vote, getting a second round of votes. And so Quentin won the uh endorsement, which was made by the delegates, and then I kept on going. I kept on posting on Facebook because I did not sign the endorsement agreement. So that's the whole thing is in the beginning, you know, I met with uh like the execs of you know, like the chairman and everybody from C D3, and they said, Do you want to sign the endorsement agreement? So they explained it to me. I said, No, I just is my first time running. I don't know how it's gonna go, and I just, you know, see how it goes. And so I didn't sign it, and that allowed me to keep going. Where you know, a lot of the the the ones that were running for governor or that were running for governor on the Republican side, they all signed it. But since there was an issue with the voting, you know, up at Duluth, uh huh, um, they allowed everybody to go to primary.

SPEAKER_03

Ah.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah. But for myself, I just kept on grinding it out every day, posting and you know, talking to people, and when it came to, you know, early voting, I think more people voted for me and and C D three people. Like I know Quentin, he's a great guy. Um, he ran mostly on uh term limits. Okay, really pushed that. But they've been talking about term limits since I was a kid, right? You know, nobody and the people that have to vote for it are the congressmen. They're not gonna vote for, you know, give giving themselves a term limit. And so

How Bass Wins The Nomination

SPEAKER_01

with my message was you know, they hate the fraud in in Minnesota, it's huge, you know, and it's been going on for years. And Kelly Morrison is silent on the issue, just like Ilhan Omar. They don't want to comment, and Kelly Morrison, there hasn't been too much fraud caught besides what I've been finding in CD3, but national news-wise it hasn't been. And so why isn't she commenting on it? You know, why doesn't she have an opinion or or a solution? Where myself, you know, I'm I'm a G C now, so a general contractor.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And so I started, you know, doing that kind of stuff as at a uh as a young man, you know, 13 years old, roofing, doing siding, concrete. And so I came back to it. But people contact me, like there was this one company out of Plymouth, and they contacted me to a first do the drive do their uh driveway. So last like November or October, I did their driveway. It was an autistic company that um they wanted a RV parking pad built out so they didn't have to park on the grass. So I said, sure, no problem.

SPEAKER_02

Sure.

SPEAKER_01

And uh build them a gate and everything else. And we were there for about a week, you know, because there's a lot of demo and we had to build them a fence and things like that. And there was never any kids there. But then goes time for you know the spring, the guy comes to me and goes, I have a lot of business for you. We're gonna keep you busy. I want you to come to my other office, which is in Plymouth. I'm so okay, no problem. So I go there, and it's a 10,000 square foot facility. Oh man. Huge. And I go to the guy, I say, Hey, so what do you guys pay per month for rent here? He goes, Oh, it's about ten thousand dollars a month. And I'm just putting these numbers together, and what they wanted me to do there was tear down all the drywall, put up soundproof insulation, um, you know, paint, mud, everything else. So I did, and during that time, even prior to starting the job, I was there probably five or ten times because I had to measure, I had to meet with the owner, yeah, go over other options that they wanted to do, like locks on the doors, everything else. And sure enough, no kids, just employees. I'm thinking this is kind of fishy. And so I started doing the job, and sure enough, um still, you know, nothing's going on at this location. But then the guy comes to me again and he says, Hey Ty, can you build me a garage? Come over to my house. I want you to measure up my garage and give me a quote. So I do, and it was about eighty thousand dollars. And I said, Do you want to finance this? Do you want to do cash check card? Or how do you want to do this? He says, Oh no, the nonprofit is gonna give me my tax or my salary up front, so I don't have to go get a loan. So, just like a church, if I was a pastor and saying, Hey, there's this Maserati out there, I really want to get this Maserati, can you guys just pay me what I'm owed per year right now? So that's what they're doing is they're giving loan options to their employees uh for vehicles. Oh, not for vehicles, but for like uh whatever they want.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um, all up front. And then I found out, so then I quit the job. I was like, this is this is done.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, right.

SPEAKER_01

And I looked into them. I found out they've been getting about $1.2 million per year of our tax dollars. And where's it going? Okay, but they their expense budget is $1.3 million.

SPEAKER_02

So they run a hundred thousand?

SPEAKER_01

Yep, they they show that they have a loss, you know, they're doing all this other stuff. I don't know, they're having parties. If you look at their Facebook, they're having parties. Um, all this, it's called um Autism Sibs Universe out of Plymouth. And so I dug deeper and I found out again, um they were getting last year was 1.9 million, and they're buying other properties in their name and then renting it back out to the nonprofit. So at the end of the day, you know, our tax dollars, and I'm just running into this, I didn't seek them out or anything. They contacted me, and then sure enough, were totally fine with telling me that they're basically a fraud company and they didn't need a loan, they're gonna use it, you know, our tax dollars a certain way. Um and then obviously there's no children

A Contractor’s Fraud Story In Plymouth

SPEAKER_01

there, there's no young adults. Right for a 10,000 square foot facility. You know, I had a I had a fitness company for like 10 years, and I started that company with a paycheck. It was $250.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And I went to Walmart, I bought some resistance bands, an ab wheel, you know, I had a gym bag, so I already had that, and I bought a website for a dollar. And I did that for 10 years, but that $250 with like hard work, determination, everything else just kept on going. But there then all of a sudden people started contacting me, like um, you know, moms who they had an autistic child, they were like, hey, it's COVID, our kids are just coming home, they're they're getting on the couch and they're just lazy. So I'm like, okay, well, we can work out. So I was able to do like DD waivers, and that's what all the nonprofits are focusing on is the DD waivers, um, which is like a waiver form for children who have like a disability. Okay. You can you can you know charge for your service. So my whole thing with the nonprofits being able to get endless amounts of funding, which is ridiculous. You know, you just have to have a storefront, a nonprofit, a business, you know. Um, why not make it for me and you if me and you want a business, we have to show oh, like a business loan, right? We have to show that we have two years of tax returns.

SPEAKER_02

1041s, yeah, K3s, K5s, yep, uh first blood.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, exactly. And so we have to show all these all these documents to the banker um and have good credit, okay?

SPEAKER_02

Right, the score of uh 800 plus.

SPEAKER_01

Right. So, but why not make it so and I could have done I could have changed my whole business, my fitness business, just to helping those kids. But everybody else was contacting me too for weight loss. So for the nonprofits, why not? This is my solution for the problem in Minnesota, you know, is to make sure that you can go out there, you can make money, you can get your nonprofit, but you can't get any taxpayer funds until you show two years of tax returns that you have good credit, you can manage money, and you make a profit. Then we can give you the taxes. Otherwise, we're giving money out for who knows what.

SPEAKER_02

And and there's no teeth in this, nobody's watching it. And money's leaving the country. Right. And they knew that. I mean, at least that's a story as you hear online. Yep. You know, we we knew suitcases full of money. We heard that. We all heard that.

SPEAKER_01

I s I saw it personally. I had another client of mine, we're it's time to do body measurements. You know, nor normally guys would take the shirt off for body measurements. This guy was wearing like a cricket shirt.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And I said, hey man, it's body measurement day, just like wearing a sweatshirt. If you wear that sweatshirt on body measurements, it's gonna show like an extra inch, you know. So take the cricket shirt off and you know, leave your white shirt on underneath. That's fine. And so he did, but he had all these sewn in pockets. And I said, What's all what's and I could have done better sewing. And I said, What's what's with all the sewn in pockets? And he said, Oh, well, um, Iman is she she sewn in the pockets, so when we went to Pakistan, we could bring out more than $10,000 out of the country. I said, Man, that's a felony. And he goes, Oh, well, you know, and sure enough, he had the fast pass, you know, get through TSA as fast as you can, kind of thing. But he had a hiring agency from for H1Bs. And the H1B visas in Minnesota, there's a lot of scams going on with that too, because people are charging for H1B visa holders.

SPEAKER_03

Like technically.

SPEAKER_01

$10,000 or $20,000 to get a job. Well, that's not normal. You normally don't charge for somebody to get a job. You know? So there's a lot of scams going on with that too. Um but Minnesota fraud, Kelly Morrison, nobody wants to talk about it, but the Republicans. So that's that's where I think a lot of the CD three voters really liked my campaign because that's what I was about. You know, and they came out and they voted, and and here we are today. You know. Wow.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, let's shift into second. Let's say you win your spot. Where are you be going to? Will you be going to uh what DC? DC, yep. All right, and you'll be a junior member, so you're gonna be part of the hazing crew, no doubt. You know, we've all been through the hazing crap. Yep. And what's your first kung fu you're gonna give these these people? I mean, because it's

A Proposed Fix For Nonprofit Funding

SPEAKER_02

kind of important that these guys know that you you mean business.

SPEAKER_01

Well, we have to take charge, first of all. Like Minnesota is my state, and what's been going on, we have been known for the Minnesota Vikings, the Minnesota Twins, the Lynx, Timberwolves, our whole lives. But recently, now we're known for fraud. And that's and I'll make my own fraud committee, which I don't think anybody else that's running right now is is I have interns that I'm teaching them how to investigate the fraud because there's ways to find out if X company is getting X X amount of taxpayer funds, and then we can investigate it. Because just the other day I went over to a company and it was it was vacant, but they're getting taxpayer funds, and that was right in Minnetonka. Wow. Yeah, so for me going to DC, I'm definitely gonna lay down the hammer and tell them this is what we have to do, that we have to get our taxpayers, our our taxpayer money back and prosecute the ones that have been committing the fraud. Prosecute.

SPEAKER_02

There's a tough one.

SPEAKER_01

We have to. That's the only only option. And failure is failure is not an option. We have to keep going. Um, and we have to like the taxpayers, I know the taxpayers are hard workers, people that know how to like you know, pinch pennies, and a lot of people make a lot of money too. There's there's everybody in C D3, it's 30, it's 35 cities. You know, it's massive. And people want accountability.

SPEAKER_02

Well, we have an unwritten rule here on on Hotcast that if you get to your to your chair, uh, I did this with Tad, I did this with uh Mr. Jensen. Uh don't forget your lonely old podcast guy, because uh I'm I'm a plethora of information. Absolutely. We got to put me on staff and give me some tools, and I'm gonna go out and help you wind this up. Right on. Yep. That's okay.

SPEAKER_01

We're doing it for the people. That's that's we're doing it for the people. Exactly. Because no one else was. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And then they would they won't.

SPEAKER_01

Kelly won't. Kelly won't. No. No. She's she's too invested right now into her stocks. And uh, she lives on Minnetonka. I heard she has a great house on Minnetonka and everything else, but you know, I see some of her signs, you know, but I've seen her ads too. Uh I'm I'm a different breed, you know. I have worked my whole life from a young kid all the way through college. Um and she worked too, but there's a little bit of a there's a big difference between me and her, you know, as candidates. So I think I can relate a lot more to people that you know are hard workers as well.

SPEAKER_02

That that's the key, isn't it? Relating to the people. Correct. And that's that's a real that's a real deal. I mean, you you once somebody ascribed it to me once says, you can be a politician or you can be a statesman. And you know, this is recently, this is in my last run for uh our undisclosed location bunker underground deal. I know that's my persona. And he says, the difference being no matter your feelings, a statesman will vote their ward. Or a politician will vote their party. True. And and I voted my ward. We had this flag issue with Minnesota. We're for the for the first city that put a motion forward to um to do it. I mean, there were other cities that did it, but we had the official, you know, we're doing this. Ordinance. Um yeah. And anyway, so I voted my ward exactly as I said, and I think and I I did tell my wards, look, if you guys vote the new flag, I'm all in. It doesn't matter. I mean, you call the shots, I will make it work.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and it's about teamwork too. You know, that's what I'm seeing right now, is a lot of the guys who are running as either House or Senate or or um school board, even is a lot of people don't know how to do the marketing side of it. And so I'm helping them out as well. We're meeting this week to kind of go over social media marketing, um, the CRM that I use, um, everything else that that I do on a daily basis, so they can do it too. Um, because I want to turn the whole CD3 back to red. We have to do it. And we will, you know,

DC Priorities And A Fraud Committee Pitch

SPEAKER_01

there's no doubt in my mind that we're we're gonna win. So people want change, that's for sure.

SPEAKER_02

Well, paper kind of need it now.

SPEAKER_01

They do need it.

SPEAKER_02

And when was the last time uh Minnesota was red? 25 years ago?

SPEAKER_01

25 years ago for the governor and shit is, you know, but for CD3, I believe was 10 years ago. Eight to ten years ago. And um, but then prior to that, we were a red district for 20 some years. So the voters are still here, we just need to get the right candidates in, and that's where I believe I come in and and um and have a better stance and a solution, you know.

SPEAKER_02

So yeah, oh yeah, heck yeah. It it people don't understand that you you know we're all volunteers.

SPEAKER_01

We are, yep, one hundred percent.

SPEAKER_02

And we ain't doing this for the money. We don't have to. We got our businesses that do our job and they pay our bills, and we do this for what the people want.

SPEAKER_01

Correct. Yeah, I'm doing uh I think two driveways this week. Are you really? Yeah, well, one like one patio, a driveway, well, two patios and a driveway.

SPEAKER_02

So well, yeah, I I get you. I mean, when I was running and I was actually on uh council, I was building motors, I was setting chassis, I was running out diffs. Yeah, yeah, you're you're still working.

SPEAKER_01

You have to, you know, I'm I'm doing the fundraising and everything else too. Um Kelly, I think, has already raised you know well over one to two million dollars, and some of it is her own money. Um where I know, you know, with the pass the pass run, you might get you might laugh at this. Um, you know, I heard Quentin he spent about fifty thousand dollars on on his campaign. You know, that was marketing, that was paying some people to do things. Um, where I went out and I bought a suit. I um paid for some flyers, uh, my my banner. I have a six-foot banner and a tablecloth that goes with it, and some t-shirts. And so altogether I spent about fifteen hundred dollars at most.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And uh, yeah, and the night, you know, I went to the Mike Lindell watch party.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was it was a fun time, and um, you know, they were saying, You're you're gonna win. I was like, oh, I don't know, man. You know, you know, and sure enough, I was at 60%, you know, the majority of the night, and all of a sudden we dropped down to like 56%, and then they called it. I was like, hmm, I don't know. I'm gonna wake up tomorrow and it's gonna be changed, it's gonna be reversed, and you know, they find some more votes or something.

SPEAKER_02

Right, go to sleep and change it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and but no, I mean, I'm in it to win it. I had I've always been that kind of that mentality of like athlete mentality that if you're on the football field and you or you're pre-game, you don't think that this team is if you if you're not a match for this team, don't play. You know, get off the field. And so my whole team is we all have the same mentality. We all have to have that heart, that drive, that dedication, everything else to make sure that we are gonna win. Because if there's doubt in the air, like you know, it's it's never good. Right. Circle in the drain. Exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, we are 2730 into this first half. I'd like to take a break. And if you if you would, I'd like to come come back and talk about this uh this fraud and congregate care homes. Can we can we do that? Sure.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

So in our last conversation, we

Congregate Care Homes And Medicaid Billing

SPEAKER_02

had to talk about oh, fraud. I mean, what isn't in the news besides fraud, right? And we have these things in our city, in our undisclosed location, and in Brooklyn Park about these congregate care homes. Now these care homes are classified as 154G, 254 A, B, and C, and they are about making sure that people get integrated back into the society. And uh they got some TBMs, uh brain injury stuff. There's all kinds of stuff going on here. What do you know about those?

SPEAKER_01

Well, um, there is a lot going on with with the billing department where they're saying that they're going there billing them when they're not even showing up, they're supposed to be there for three hours a day giving care. And um, like I know there's a woman named Sky, but they they went by Jane Doe. Is the same thing happened with her, is they were saying that they were billing for three hours per day, and they actually were supposed to take care of her rent for her, and the sheriff's department went there and evicted her. And so there was a GoFundMe for her, and you know, it was very bad because she's you know, vulnerable adult now on the streets. It's horrible. Right. You know, um but like you said too, there's there's a lot of these homes around the Twin Cities that are billing for, you know, or whether it is a home for recovering alcoholics, you know, anything that is government funded, you know, and there there's there needs to be change for everything around the Twin Cities. I think the Democrats have really just ruined a lot of it and a lot a lot of these programs go. But for any any taxpayer funding, I think needs to have a G O V at the end of the website.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

You know, if it government needs to run it because if you put it in the hands of somebody else, a lot of times it's there's it's gonna be mishandling of everything. It's too easy to ruin it, right? Right. So and there a lot of it is for vulnerable adults and and what or a different type of service, uh, like long stay facilities like that too, is is yeah. I used to train these like these kids, they lived at it was like called J Hap, a Jewish community center in Golden Valley. Okay, and they're all adults, you know, uh all vulnerable. But it's a community that built a you know apartment style living space for them, super nice, and um, yeah, they did DD waivers, everything else too. But that place was an actual, they did everything right. It was a good spot. Um but like you said, there's homes that are being purchased. I know I know this for a fact, uh there's people are buying homes and converting them into like the you know service provider type businesses, right? Right. And then um it's tax deductible, it's uh it's a write-off, it's everything else. And are they really providing services?

SPEAKER_02

Um that's what we found locally.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

We found that if if are you aware of the 154G program? No. All right, now if a municipality was to be tasked with this place, this these these homes, then they are put in here by the state Minnesota M M M M F D, MF Minnesota State housing. It's for these uh vulnerable adults. Okay. They get thrown into this area, someone will buy it, they'll turn this into a group home. This group home will be then it it becomes exempt under the state statute that you cannot, as a city, intervene, have any type of uh oversight, any type of anything, period. They they and and and it happened in Plymouth first. Plymouth started saying, look, if you're gonna do this, then we're gonna start controlling what you do. And then the state stepped in, they had lobbyists, they started stepping all over this. Now, because it's in a law, this this just local police, the local fire, the local city council cannot intervene, and they can they cannot do anything about it. So now they get a free run on top of this free money that they're getting. This money that uh, you know, and these people are very vulnerable. They shouldn't be out on the street, they shouldn't be uh in trouble, they are not being watched, and and uh and just imagine if you get someone here who is he he don't want to take his meds. Yeah. Well, how are you gonna make them? You call the local police. Now you're gonna you have calls of service to these areas, and he won't take his meds, and the cops come over, you'll take your meds, or you're gonna go back to wherever. We have a spot in our city, we call it Pennsylvania Avenue. And this avenue in eleven months had calls of service. There are there are seven homes or four people per home. How much do you think would be enough for calls? Uh you probably listened to my last podcast, and me and Tad talked about this a bit. But what what would be a very logical choice for having calls per service per year in eleven months?

SPEAKER_01

Per year, I would say you know, if we micro it up, I mean, probably probably looking at um five calls a day.

SPEAKER_02

That's a lot of calls, isn't it? Yeah. This worked out the 11th month to be about 600 calls. Yeah. And we don't really have a problem, but we have a problem. So now we get double taxed, we gotta pay that as the rest of the city. Everybody around us has to

Oversight Limits And Police Call Volume

SPEAKER_02

pay that. And and then we have to pay our taxes on top of that. Isn't that kind of like double taxation?

SPEAKER_01

It is. Yeah, and I um just looked at it, and yeah, it's a hundred million dollars in the fraud scheme of things with it, with the Medicaid program.

SPEAKER_02

I talked to a mayor over in another city called Brooklyn Park. And how much of their whole expenditure budget goes to their homes? Uh uh have you have you heard this one yet? No. 17% of their total budget goes to these homes. And they are in the 490 range units. Okay. That that's a whole lot. That's a lot. That's a whole lot. 490 homes-ish plus. And then of course Walt says, We're gonna stop this. Uh we're gonna we're gonna say no more building on this. And then I'm talking to our city, one of our city gals here, and she says, Well, we got a new one on the street, but we don't know what it is. And and we started doing some research. Well, sure, they stopped the congregate care homes, i.e., per se, but now it's called something else. It was like a emergency something. They just made a new program. Yes, or renamed it. They re renamed it. They did a workaround. They're still building them, they're still putting them in our in our citizens, and and some of these guys shouldn't be on the street and they should not be next to someone who's got little kids.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. I hear you. Yeah, there is um there's programs that need to be funded and no matter what have oversight. But I just think that a lot of these companies are just made up, and then they apply for it. And like over where my office is, there is a company called I think it's TSI, they're vans, they do transportation to and from like to our schools in the Roseville area, and that those that company they've been getting tax dollars from the the the city from the school to provide transportation, but every time you go there, there's probably five or ten more vans, and the vans that are there, there's probably about 50 vans, they never move. Wow, ever. And it's it's 100% it's a fraud. It's it's their yeah, where we try to do things, you know, right and don't break the law and do everything, you know, cross our T's and dot our I's and then there's people that are I don't know, there must be a WhatsApp group or a signal chat or something like that to teach people how to defraud the government. I think that's because there's so much of it going on. Somebody is the ringleader, you know, like feeding our future.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So from her prison cell, she goes, she goes, I don't speak Somali. She goes, You guys call me the ringleader, I don't even speak their language. She goes, and she didn't say who it was, but obviously, you know, somebody's out there and and making more LLCs and and have they have the blueprint. And we just need to we need to alter it so they can't do it anymore. You know.

SPEAKER_02

There's a whole lot going on, isn't there? Yeah. And common sense ain't common enough.

SPEAKER_01

But you know, for for for us, you know, is we're not in DC, you know, and but it's been going on for so many years. Like the Nick Shirley is um he did a story on one of my past customers as well. They had a Somalian um restaurant down on Lake Street, and then with that restaurant, above the restaurant, they owned a adult Somalian daycare. But what they got caught doing was layering money, and like I used to sell like life insurance and was uh licensed, you know, Medicaid and ACA insurance agent, and so I have like an anti-money laundering license. Okay, and you and you find out what layering money means, and that means taking nonprofit money or pro money from another company and layering it into another company to basically hide money, show cash flow. And sure enough, that's what they were doing, and um initially got he did a big story about them and got ran out of the whole building there, and but where does it end? There was um was it a hundred million dollars so far? Fifty of it has been recovered.

SPEAKER_02

So

Money Laundering And Feeding Our Future

SPEAKER_02

sure seems kind of uh minute in the big scale, doesn't it? I don't think it's even the tip of the iceberg. Oh yeah. Well they're starting to see in other cities, they're starting to see California's right behind us, Minnesota Nice, they're come on by and collect cash. Yeah, Chicago, New York. Yeah, anywhere can too good from a Dami out there, these uh grocery stores he's been doing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, but yeah, but but you need a uh license to to shovel snow in New York, but you don't need a license to vote. Yeah, I hope that gets turned around. That's another thing is the Save Act. We need to make sure every state is on the same page. You need voter ID. And like, you know, Cam Higbee. Did you follow that story? I don't know if I did that one. So Cam Higbee and uh James L'Keefe came to Minnesota on election day.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

He dressed up as a yeah, yeah. Yep. And what happened was um they found out that you can vouch for up to eight people per person. Yeah. I and I've been voting my whole life, and I've never heard of that. Ever. I've never heard that either. So and now they just released the um you know instructional video for new um uh voter board people, you know, and it said basically it talks all about it. You know, you don't need you don't need to check ID. Um, anybody can be voting in our elections. We don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Right. And then there's the corporate one where if you're part of a some kind of a corporate entity and you they work for you or something or something that they are you have an unlimited number you can vouch for. I think I heard about that too. Yeah, that was that that one surprised me. I mean it's bad enough. You can vote up to eight. Well, if that works, then how are you checking the check-in? Unlimited. Unlimited. Wow. So if you yes, let's say you're a corporate head and they're all work for you and and he yeah, he works for me. So he lives in this area or he lives in a building. Imagine Cedar Avenue. I mean, that's all straight up. And how many um people are not gonna be unlimitedly voted? Yeah, he is uh this guy he comes in apartment number eight, yeah, he's here all the time. And who's checking it?

SPEAKER_01

That's see, there's a reason why the Democrats in Minnesota, like Kelly Morrison, she doesn't want to sign the voter, uh, the Save America Act. Um, even even with that, too, is like the the immigration in Minnesota is is beyond out of control. You know, um, yes, we you know if you look at the stats, Biden, Obama, they both deported more illegal immigrants um than Trump has. But at the same time, um this round, they had a news crew with them like everywhere they went. Sure. And so it was Heavily televised, way more, even though it was less people being uh deported, it was in the mainstream media every single day. And Kelly Morrison went on her Facebook and said, Hey, I want everybody to go out there, protect your neighbor, um, riot against the police, get in their face. Yes. That was her exact words. Yes. And then what happens? Because we we lost two people.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Renee got shot for interfering, quote unquote.

SPEAKER_01

Yep. And then Alex Purdy. Yep. And sure enough, Tim Walls, Amy Kulbachar, they all said the same exact thing. Like, you know, but they don't want to take responsibility for inciting a riot. Right. You know, that's where there's a big disconnect between like what's right and what's wrong. And I I would never tell people to go out there, like I like what you said with the with those homes is how many phone calls are being made to the police. Right. So so many phone calls that the police have to take every single day where none of us are doing that. You have to respect the police, respect the fire department, ICE, FBI, everybody. Because at the end of the day, they're doing a job that you're not.

SPEAKER_03

Nope.

SPEAKER_01

You know, but you know, as you know, like I'm I mainly do concrete, but I also do I used to do a lot of roofing, like the actual the like the labor side. And this year we're doing a roof, me and uh, me and another guy, and um a guy stopped by. He says, Hey, you know, you guys need some help. And sure enough, he told me his story. He I told him I was running for uh Congress. He goes, Well, he goes, Would you like to do an interview with me? And he goes, because he's illegal.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And I said, Absolutely, let's do an interview. And he but he wanted to talk about how

Voter ID And Vouching Loopholes

SPEAKER_01

he had paid the coyotes, which is like somebody that helps you get across a border. He had to pay the coyotes fifteen thousand dollars to get across the border, and but it's not just that, they put you in a house in El Paso with 30 other people, like a house just like yours, and the next morning, 30 people leave, 30 more people come, and it's just clockwork. They move you around the states, and but that's part of that fifteen thousand dollars that he paid. But then they say, Here's a phone number, call this guy when you get up to the twin cities, and then sure enough, because all the roofers in the twin cities are the same roofers, they're it's like a group of people. Okay, you see you go to any roof around the twin cities, it's the same guys. Um I used to work for some like uh hail restoration company, so we did a lot of roofs, but at the end of the day, this guy even said it too: the cartel is running the roofing industry, there's no getting around it. And so, for example, I if I do a roof with the insurance company and there's hail on the roof or whatever it may be, the insurance company will pay me seven basically $700 to $900 per square. So if it was if it's a 2,000 square foot roof, that house $20 times $700 is $14,000. That's what I get. That covers material, labor, overhead and profit, everything. But the illegals are charging $40,000 to $100 per square for their labor. So you have eight guys on the roof, they're walking away with maybe fourteen hundred dollars. All together. And there you can't drive a brand new $120,000 Chevy Silverado or Ford F 350 with making $1,400 like that and having to split it up, but they do so somebody's giving them those brand new vehicles, brand new trucks, trailers, everything, but they're underbidding everybody, and that's their game, is they want to underbid everybody for the time being until there is nobody else to bid against.

unknown

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

And that's what we see, you know. That's what I've seen over the past so many years.

SPEAKER_02

What path would you pursue if you win this seat to deal with that?

SPEAKER_01

So he even told me too, Apple Valley, a lot of the cities around the Twin Cities, because he knows all these cartels, is there's drug homes all over the place. And there is money sitting in homes that are from the cartel, and it's cartels everywhere. So we need to and like allow our immigration officers to enforce and deport these guys who are bringing in fentanyl, human trafficking, everything else. We need to allow the government agencies to do what they you know are designed to do. And um, anybody else that is you know, like for myself, you know, if you're here illegally, it's time to go. You have you're not here, you're not supposed to be here. Um, this is not your country. And another guy did an interview with me. Um, he was able to get a work permit by being illegal. Okay. So in Minnesota, you can if my business says, hey, I want so-and-so to work for me, he's illegal, um, I'll get I can get him a work permit, and the work permits go out to 2036. So 10 years out. And they're illegally here. And then there's another option where what we have to, this is like no matter what, this is what we have to do to save our jobs here, you know, our our hardworking labor uh Minnesotans is what we have to do is we had to get rid of the I-TIN. And what that is is individual tax identification number. Like if you have a business, you have an EIN.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And if you don't have a business in your American, you have a social. But the I-TIN is for illegals, it allows them to basically file taxes under a LLC. So they can apply for an I-TIN and then go get the Secretary of State, Steve Simon, uh, to give you an LLC, and then you can get your general contractor's license, your business insurance, your business bank account, and then now underbid everybody and hire all your friends. And so that's how that's how people are overtaken, like the Minnesota workforce. But not only that, you know, there was one story I should tell you about. It was when I graduated from Luther College in 2010, I went to Hormel. And uh, I was used to working in factories, doing everything else like that, hard work. And I went to Hormell. I said, hey, you know, here's my resume. I just graduated, exercise science. Um, I want to, you know, apply for a job. I said, Oh, they smiled and said, We're not hiring right now, but feel free to come back at a different time. And so I left. About a month later, story went around that a guy got pulled over in Austin, Minnesota. And when he got pulled over, it was a it was an immigrant, and the cops said politely, like gave, you know, gave him a heads up, like, hey, we're gonna, you know, stop by Hormel on Monday, so tell your buddies, you know, that we're gonna stop by, kind of do like a raid. And like gave him courtesy, you know, that's what they call it. And Monday morning comes, 45 workers didn't show up for work. And so Hormel got in trouble for that. That's you can Google search that one too. But the thing is, like

Immigration Enforcement And Labor Market Impact

SPEAKER_01

those think of it. A single mother that needs, you know, formula for her child. She needs yeah, she needs a job. Yep, she couldn't get a job at Hormel. Or a single dad with four kids, he couldn't get a job there. And me, a graduate, you know, from Luther, there's no way I could get a job there. And that's going on. If you have a work permit, you doesn't mean that you just have to work for roofing, you can work for factories as long as you have that work permit. So we need to get rid of that. If you're illegal in my eyes, you should not be able to, and you don't and the thing is with uh with being illegal in Minnesota, you don't pay taxes unless you are paying taxes through your LLC, which then you as a person, you're not paying taxes, the LLC is. Sure, sure, sure.

SPEAKER_02

So it's kind of a buffer uh thing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Well, let's grab third gear here. You've heard a lot of static about this flock camera stuff. Oh boy. Yeah. I know it wasn't on your list that you want to talk about, but uh it's a pretty big hot button right now.

unknown

Yep.

SPEAKER_02

And there's a lot of people that are so bent out of shape. And and and there's nobody on the planet more anti-government than me. I mean, it's just because of this this type of stuff. But I see a huge value in this.

SPEAKER_01

Well, um okay, pros and cons. Um, pros is my neighbor, she lived in this big apartment complex, she got her license plate stolen. And so she got to the cops, said, Hey, you know, somebody just came by and stole my my plates. So the cops went on flock and they found out where her plates were. Somebody put them on another vehicle and they're all driving around, they picked that guy up. Great, great story. You know, they did his justice, you know, everything else. Um, also with stolen vehicles around the Twin Cities, it happens all the time. Um, you know, it's it's a way for people to look into where your car is. Right. You know, um, and there's you know, Big Brother, you know, always watching, like, like that. And then on the other side, they are using flock at home at Home Depot to pick up illegals. I don't know if you've ever heard that, but I talked to a Home Depot employee and they said like that's what they're doing there. Um so they're using it to catch people, and A, is like not every illegal is a bad person, of course, you know, but a lot of the criminals, a lot of the guys that are in trouble because it takes your height, basically your your statue, your your car, your vehicle, the color, everything about you. Yeah, and so I see people still driving around with full like masks on, sunglasses, scarves, everything to try to hide that. But at the end of the day, is it a an evasion or invasion of your Fourth Amendment right? Because what happens is it doesn't leave the flock system for up to a year. So if you don't want your license plate to be in the system forever, every year, you need to change your license plate. That's the way around. Um, you know, people are really against it because there's some people getting in trouble for looking up their ex-girlfriends or things like that, like police officers. But you know, so at the end of the day, like I have have you ever heard of the unplugged phone?

SPEAKER_02

Don't know if I have.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. So the unplugged phone, it's that's that's the the company is unplugged. Um, it's not iOS, it is an Android system, but um when you turn your camera off, it is off. There's a kill switch on the phone, it's the most, it's the hardest phone to hack. It's been all over the news to buy. Um, it's was made by ex-militar guys for privacy. Um it comes with a full year of a VPN. Um it you know how your microphone is on right now on your cell phone? You can't you can't turn that off. Yep. On my phone, I can turn the microphone off. I can turn off navigation, location, bluetooth, everything, and there's a kill switch. The kill switch is basically just like the old phones, you take the battery out. Yes, right. This phone with the kill switch, it puts something over the battery so there's no connection at all to outside. So, like me, I'm also I I've taken some cybersecurity courses. Um, I value my privacy as well. And to get back to Flock, like why do why doesn't the government own it? You know, there's vulnerabilities, of course. There's ways people can get into the system. Um, so that's our privacy. And should a private company be the owner of this company? I mean, we already have the license plate readers, you know, um honor stoplights. For sure. Always had them. Always had them, yeah. And so what is the real need for this? Is and how much are they making off of our and are hey, are they selling our information? Yes, because every city pays for our information. Yep. Yes, they do. So where else is that going? Is it going into marketing?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

You know, is it going into other sources? Um tracks behavior, tracks habits. Um, where I think too, just like if you're gonna have an autism clinic, maybe you should have a G O V at the end of the website because it should be government ran 100%, you know, in my eyes. Because this same thing is once again, it's it gets in the wrong hands of some of the wrong people. There's a new CEO next year, maybe, you know, who knows what they're gonna make at a board meeting for a decision.

SPEAKER_02

Well, people's gonna have their uh underwear in a bunch just because it's government has this information on you. But what they don't realize in the flock world is that flocks started out as not government, they were they were private. HOAs, uh in your neighborhood, or your uh your your own personal flock, and then you had control over the data. You had full control. So why aren't they jumping up and down about the private held flocks? Yeah, I don't know how they started. That's that's news to me. Oh, yeah, that's how they started. I I I trained flock about five years ago. Wow. And in in our city, in our local city, another neighboring city, I said, Look, we're getting more and more of this crime, and we put flock in and the crime hit the dirt. They were done. They were just minimal to nothing because they knew they were can be tracked. And again, I you know, how's that Benjamin Franken thing goes? If you you don't want privacy, you don't want something and you didn't deserve any either. Come on. There's no privacy in today's world. No. And if you think there is, then you're you're mistaken.

Flock Cameras And The Privacy Tradeoff

SPEAKER_02

So now everybody's destroying the cameras, they're beating them up, and governments are taking them down, cities are taking them down so that they don't destroy the rest of them, so they can figure out a workaround, and they will figure out a workaround. I promise you they will. And the cameras will go right back up.

SPEAKER_01

That that's where I'm saying is if if it's in the right hands of the right people, like the government versus the private sector, then it's a lot better of an option for us because like look at Facebook with the election, the the previous election, where they were and COVID, they were shutting down profiles, doing everything else, they're private, they can do whatever they want. But when it's government, there is you're protected by your rights.

SPEAKER_02

You know, so but flack independent people, you don't have no rights with those people. No. I could put one up on the street and watch my street every time I I wanted to and and do whatever I want with the data. Exactly. And they couldn't do nothing about it, other than then just physically destroy the camera, which would be a you know, at that price it'd probably be a felony.

SPEAKER_01

So is that a route that you'd think that they're going? Is they're gonna start selling individual cameras to individual homes?

SPEAKER_02

They always have.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, they have, okay.

SPEAKER_02

A flock has always had uh private sector cameras.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

What they allow you to do is they allow you to connect it to the police department in case they need it, if you wanted to. So so if I was a private flock owner and the PD needed some data, well, well, you can get this information. You can't you can't, you know, figure out what they did with the data after they've had it. But if you let them connect to your private camera, they now have the same access as they did before.

SPEAKER_01

It just reminds me a lot of the um the ring camera. Yes, that that lawsuit that's going around now. Yeah, people what's the difference? People were hacking the camera.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Um, you know, or nanny cams. People were hacking the nanny cams. Um sick people, you know, like so where does it end? So that's why, yeah, maybe maybe they should be um like TikTok, you know. I don't know much about TikTok besides previously owned by the Chinese government, spying on everybody, every everything that you did was watched, the microphone was always tapped. Um you know, so yeah, it's a surveillance state that we're in, but they're we're we still have to, if just think if there's a data breach. Right. You know, then what? They're gonna owe everybody.

SPEAKER_02

What do you what do you do then? Mm-hmm. Boy. That that's that's a very slippery slope. But but again, I I I if it means giving up just a little bit to protect some little girl that got um right uh took in from way up north down to here and all of a sudden it trips one of our camera LPRs. If if if it was my little girl, I I would be okay with having some some privacy gone.

SPEAKER_01

100%. You know, but why doesn't the government own that system then? Is what I'm that's what I would try to push for is you know, own like owning Flock 100 by the government.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you ever hear the term I'm here with the government, I'm here to help?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's probably why. But you know, who knows what's what's the worst case scenario that could happen with Flock? You know, our data breach, uh your wife finding out something about you, like you know, it's just having private accounts, um, you know, I don't know what what is the worst case scenario that could happen with Flock to the citizens versus it being regular uh you know ran completely by the government.

SPEAKER_02

That's Flock is very easy to to to fool. You know, they're taking an LPR, if it's strictly the LPR flock system, because they they're they can do more. And if you were to take the numbers and uh put some kind of a a number over the number, which makes it no more no longer reflective, then you will you will not see flock numbers. So so if they're really worried about it, and you only want police running your your tags when you're pulled over, when you're on the side of the street, whatever, and and and they've had LPRs in squad cars forever. They go through a parking lot and their LPRs are running and they'll tell you if there's a problem or not right there. So what's the difference? Just because it's ORG or GOV versus independent?

SPEAKER_01

Well, it it depends. Now what's what's uh can a private in investigator get this information too? Or is it only allowed for you know, they're are they only selling it to you know police stations right now?

SPEAKER_02

When I took the training, I I they didn't have a database problem, so I don't know what that means. I mean, can they do it now? I mean, you you don't need permission. If someone wants to hack you, they're gonna hack you. Uh if they're hacking water table stations and they're doing they're doing governments and uh electric companies and really well this is nothing for these people. There's no such thing as unhackable. Yeah. So how do you say you're protected? Google's been hacked, uh Microsoft's been hacked, Apple's been hacked, the the unhackable Apple's been hacked.

SPEAKER_01

You know, T Mobile's been hacked. I mean, everybody, like I went from my iPhone to this phone because I was hacked. I was tired of it, you know? And so that's why I went with this unplugged phone. I started searching for better phones out there,

Personal Privacy Tech And How To Donate

SPEAKER_01

and sure enough, like this is the hardest phone to hack. It's called Unplugged? Unplugged. And it's an app. It's a phone. Oh, it's a phone. Yep, it's a phone. It has its own app store, it's it has its own support. So if you need to ask a question, you can go on to the support on the phone and ask. Um, it has its own signal type chat, you know, that is encrypted and encryption. Um Wow. Yeah, it's yeah, it's the best phone in my eyes.

SPEAKER_02

So when I called you today, it says uh they want pre-crushens to get to you. That's why I couldn't get through.

SPEAKER_01

No, that is my CRM. Uh yeah. So I use uh I use like the number one CRM in the world called you know go high level.

SPEAKER_02

So go high level? Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's pretty it's the best CRM out there. So if you want a you know a number for business or anything like that, it's a dollar a month.

SPEAKER_02

Is that right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's cheap.

SPEAKER_02

Well, it was it was like going through all these steps, and I'm thinking, well, yeah, I don't know what to ask for this.

SPEAKER_01

That's my AI agent. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Go go high level, that's what it's called. Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Yep.

SPEAKER_02

I'll be darned. Well, you know, let's not uh plug everybody but you. Let's plug you in this because I really want you to have the spotlight. How would someone want to donate to your campaign?

SPEAKER_01

Yep, you can go to bassforcongress.com. Uh, you can contact me on there. If you want to volunteer or if you want a yard sign, um, you can contact me. There's a separate page for that as well, and I'll get you a yard sign. Um, and you know, we want all the volunteers that we can get. We want to, you know, bring everybody in CD3 together. We want to have huge crowds. And so we're about two months away right now from the general election. And we, you know, we're we're in this to to get back our state and and tackle the fraud. Because if we don't, like, for example, if Amy Kloboshar wins, nothing's gonna change for the fraud or anything. But if I get into uh you know DC and I can change these things with my ideas, um, then C D3 residents are gonna be a lot happier than they are right now. Nice. So nice, and and we need that. We do. Yep.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Anything else you want to add before we pull the pin? I want to make this under an hour, but uh, I gotta do some filler here.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, it's uh it's great, and thanks for having me on. Um and uh look forward to uh you know these next two months and going from there.

SPEAKER_02

Well, you had it. You just you you nailed this episode, man. I'm just like thank you. There was no repeats, there was no ant ums, there's no so-so-so's. I mean, I'm like, okay, this guy's done this a couple times. No, that's my biggest fear is to go back and cut out and ums. Oh, I'm sure. Oh, it's terrible. Yeah. But uh, okay. Bass for Congress, CD3. Give him a holler, give him some money, let's get them to the top, let's make CD3 be what it should be. And I appreciate you coming in the studio today. It sounded so much better in person. Thank you. Okay, Hutcast, we're pulling the pin here. Thanks everybody for paying attention. Uh, one of the last emails we got were pretty pretty skinny, so feel free to reach out again.
