Deborah D. Ford / Bio

Deborah D. Ford, MA, BA, is originally from Brooklyn, NY. She is a Ph.D. Candidate in General Psychology at Capella University. She is an alumna of Clark Atlanta University (Mass Media Arts) and New York University (Speech & Interpersonal Communication). 

Deborah D. Ford has taught in higher education for the past twenty-four years.  She is a full-time Associate Professor of Communications, and an adjunct in Social & Behavioral Sciences at a college in Florida.  She is a member of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Hillsborough County and a volunteer legal domestic violence advocate in Florida.  She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and mentors at a local elementary school.
