I was locked up in jail, facing 15 years for grand theft. I was completely hopeless and I completely helpless, until Jesus became the hope and help I needed to turn my life around and here's the GOOD NEWS, He wants to do the same for you; if you will allow Him to!

In this short video I tell one of many stories of how Jesus has transformed my life from a place of hopelessness and uncertainty to position of faith and purpose through Jesus Christ. 

When I was locked up in jail, facing 15 years, I had an experience that led to a complete life change, giving me clarity, direction, and a sense of purpose.

I remember going to jail and facing 15 years for grand theft. And I remember not having any confidence in myself, life, people around me. I had no real grip on where I was going in my life, but I had an incentive in my life. I had a girlfriend who's my wife today and also had a son. And I wanted to be in my son's life.

I didn't know how to be a father. I didn't know how to be a good role model. I didn't know any of those things. I just had it within me. I just wanted to be in my son's life, but I was locked up nevertheless. And I remember not knowing, man, where my life was headed, not knowing what to do. And I remember just feeling hopeless. Like my life didn't mean much of anything, and what kind of father would I be anyway?

And then here I am sitting in jail. I got myself into this position. So my point is I didn't know what I was doing. I had no idea what I was doing as a man, as a father, as a boyfriend, hopeless man, struggling, struggling, clueless. And I remember that it was on a Sunday morning when I was given the opportunity.

by the guards there in jail. They said there was a Sunday morning service. And if you just wanted to get out of your cell, you could go. You could go to this service. And all I knew at that point was I just wanted to get out of my cell block. I didn't know what was about to happen. I didn't know what I was really getting myself into. I just knew I wanted to get out of that cell block. And so I listened, I followed, and I went down, man, to this service. And...

They told me a story about this man named Jesus. I don't remember everything they said. I don't remember half of what they said. I just remember the name of Jesus and I remember the message was if you don't like where you are, if you don't like the life you have, if you don't like how life feels and looks, if you don't like the way that your life is going, if you don't like the place that your life is in.

then if you give your life to God, if you turn to Jesus, if you put your hope in Jesus, if you hook up with Jesus, then things would get better, things would turn around.

and they gave us an opportunity to pray. And they just said, yo, if you pray and just welcome Jesus into your heart, then things would begin to turn around. That's kind of what I took from it. And I was at a crossroads, man. I didn't know how to be a father or anything like that. I just knew if I was gonna do 15 years, man, I wasn't gonna be in my son's life. And so I had that incentive and I wanted to be a part of his life. And so I knew I was at a crossroads and...

I just knew I didn't know what I was doing. But if this dude named Jesus, if he knows how to direct my life and lead my life and make things better, then let me give Jesus a try. And I can tell you, life didn't become perfect, but life, it got better. Truly, I was lost. And truly, now I'm found. Truly, I was...

Hopeless, but truly today I have hope truly I had no direction in life But today I have clarity I Didn't know who I was but today I know who I am I didn't know how to be a father or a husband but today I've been a father for over 24 years to four beautiful children and I've been a husband a faithful husband of 24 years as well

My change started with Christ. I don't know how it all works. I'm not here to convince you of anything. I'm not here to preach to you or tell you exactly how everything works and how everything fits together and how God does it. I'm not, I don't know all them details, man. Right? I'm not here to give you all of that. I'm just here to tell you and to testify that my life changed, my life changed.

When I began to believe in Christ Jesus, when I gave my life to Jesus, when I welcomed Christ into my heart and into my life, and I surrendered the control or the little bit of control I thought I had, to God, my life turned around. And I'm better today. I'm greater today. Life is good today. I can honestly say that. I'm grateful today.

I'm happy today. I'm blessed today. My family's doing good today. I'm doing good today because of the good news. Christ Jesus comes, he saves, he delivers, he provides, he blesses, he strengthens, he encourages. And if you are like me, you may not be in jail, you may not be facing this or that, you may not have any of those things, but you just may be in a place where...

You're just not happy. Life isn't going the way you want it to go. You just know that there's more and you don't know how. You don't know how to figure it out. You don't know how to make that happen. You don't know how to improve. You don't know how you're going to survive another day. Well, Christ was available to me and Christ is available to you. You can say this very simple prayer right now, wherever you are.

Christ Jesus, I don't know how to live. I don't know what to do. Come into my heart. Come into my life. Help me to live. Help me to be everything that God created me to be. To live the life that God desires for me to live. Help me.

to go forward and help me to live what life really is. Amen. Amen. Because most of us are surviving. We're not living. We're existing, but we're not living. If you just said that prayer, Christ is coming to your heart. It doesn't look spooky and weird. It's not mystical. It's not, you know,
