E136: PAINTED BABY WITH MATT SHOUP
Today I set down with Matt Shoup. In March 2005, Matt, unhappy with his corporate banking job, started M & E Painting with just $100, despite having nearly $200,000 in personal debt. Since then, the company has generated over $30 million in revenue and earned numerous awards, including being recognized by Inc Magazine, Colorado Biz Magazine, and the Better Business Bureau. Matt has also been honored as a top young professional and has founded several successful companies. In addition to his professional achievements, he earned a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, traveled the world, and enjoys cooking Spanish paella and mentoring entrepreneurs while savoring Spanish coffee at Café Sevilla. Buckle up!
