Hello Friday flexors
This is Amanda back at you with a fun and challenging EMOM workout to kick start your 2024! Just as a reminder, EMOM stands for Every Minute On the Minute. For this workout set your timer for 10 minute. You will work for 40 seconds of each minute and rest for 20. Push yourself through your 40 seconds of work and focus on taking a nice deep inhale through your nose and out through your mouth during your recovery.
Now for your move. You're going to start an athletic stance with your feet about shoulder width apart from here take three quick steps forward, three quick steps back and then three jumping jacks and then repeat that movement; three quick steps forward, three quick steps back, three quick jumping jacks.
To make this move easier you can alternate three front toe taps followed by bring your heels to your bottom then an alternating side toe tap as you bring your hands together overhead for jumping jacks.
To make this move more difficult you can turn your jumping jacks into squat jacks.
That's it! Grab your timer and a water bottle and get going.
