However, two very powerful words can bring God's power into your situation whenever life throws you for a loop. Let's discover those two words today, and read a few scripture verses where they can be found.

Within the bible there are thousands upon thousands of power house verses, sentences packed with life changing goodness, lines and phrases that can set your soul on fire. But two simple words in particular pack an especially powerful punch, and they are words you need to keep ready on your lips for every day of your life…those words are: But God. But God…that doesn’t seem particularly powerful, oh but when you put them into a context…dang! These two simple words encapsulate the power of faith, hope, promise, love and potential. You can take those two powerful words and add them to any moment of despair and watch the dark cloud part before your eyes. You can place those two powerful words after any hopeless thing you tell yourself and see hope come flooding onto the scene. You can take those two powerful words and repeat them in the midst of devastation, lack and uncertainty and watch as the peace of your heavenly father rushes to comfort you. You can take those two powerful words and speak them boldly whenever the enemy launches his vicious attacks. These two words allow the power of God to work on your behalf!
Watch this…ever say anything like this before? “I don’t know how I will ever make it through this”, …hmmm hopeless, depressing, defeated no? Now let’s add those two words in and watch how it all changes…I don’t know how I will ever make it through this…but God does, but God has it all figured out, but God will lead me through it.
Whether it’s family, love, business, school, health, wealth, faith, basic needs and staying motivated to be your best…anything life throws your way you can use those words to turn a negative, uncertain, and dire situation into something that God can handle for you!
Go ahead my sister, try one of your own…I’ll give you a few seconds…think of what’s worrying you right now, think of what’s dragging you down, causing you to lose sleep and your inner peace…something you just can’t get off your mind…what is it? Now state your sentence of worry but don’t stop there…this time add those powerhouse words to the end…BUT GOD…but God can, but God will, but God does, but God has, but God wants, but God is…and the list goes on…In those words you’ve got a weapon that will block the enemy’s every attack.
Listen to this in Ephesians 3:20-21 from the Message translation: God can do anything, you know- far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
This verse reminds us of the exceptional things God wants to do for us, there is nothing he can’t do for us, if it’s his will it will be done. But it also reminds us of how he’s not going to force his way into our lives…we need to invite him in…umm humm…But God…that’s an invitation, that’s a request, that’s an attention grabbing statement. Saying those words allows his Spirit to work in you, work in your situation and work to turn all that was meant for harm and use it for good.
Keep in mind what I just said and check out this next verse…Genesis 50:20- “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
Can you hear it ladies? Listen again… You intended to harm me, BUT GOD intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done…
Lord willing, you are about to live right through the next 360+ days till the end of 2022, and one thing I know for certain is that there is going to be some crap you have to go through! That’s life! Just because it’s 2022, doesn’t mean that the devil has packed up his flaming arrows and retired…nope, he’s still going strong, and arguably stronger than ever…he’s going to try to take you out day in and day out, because he knows of God’s amazing plans for your life and he’s not wanting you to see or experience any of it. He knows that God has incredible opportunities, adventures and experiences lined up for you this next year, and quite honestly Mr. Satan is just hoping that he can sway you to opt out of them all. He’s going to create havoc and chaos, so that you just eventually throw your arms up in defeat and decide that can’t continue. Giving up on your dreams, settling for less and being discouraged by not seeing a way is going to make him one happy demon. Girl…BUT GOD…but God wants you to see the dreams he has waiting for you, he wants you to experience the more he has ready for you, and he wants you to know he’s already made a way! Keep on moving forward…keep on taking that next step. When you hit that obstacle, road block or hold up, unleash the power of God’s spirit but boldly claiming, I can’t…but God can…I don’t know how…but God does, for me this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
Actually did you know that that last example I just used is a line straight from Jesus’s lips…Matthew 19:26 says: Jesus looked at them and said, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible…
BUT WITH GOD all things are possible. My friend, I don't know what the next year will bring you, what challenges, defeats, problems and solutions you will experience. When life is uncertain though (which it always feels to be) one thing we can know for sure is that God IS certain. He does know how this all plays out, he does know the solutions to your problems, he does know how you finally succeed at something you’ve been failing at for so long, he knows how your dilemma plays out, and how long till things feel normal again. Maybe it’s time to start speaking some certainty into your life…but God can, but God will, but God is, but God has, but God does, but God knows… AND HE wants to be here for you today!
