Things We Wish We Knew When We Started a Design Businesses (Part 2)
Dec 06, 2021 Season 4 Episode 9
Brandi Sea Heft-Kniffin

There’s so many creatives leaving traditional office jobs or doing more independent design and I thought it would be great to share some things we wish we knew when we started our own design businesses. Lauren Gonzalez from 4theCreatives is joining me we can't wait to share what we have learned and hopefully save you some unexpected surprises when going out on your own!

You can find Lauren's YouTube Channel here!

Something I’ve been unusually inspired by is…Children's, Youth, and Young Adult Book cover illustrations from the books
"Land of Stories" by Chris Colfer
"The Magical Misfits" by Neil Patrick Harris
"Dragonwatch" by Brandon Mull
"Keeper of the Lost Cities" by Shannon Messenger

Musical Inspiration this week is:
"His Favorite Christmas Story" by Capital Lights
