Hera McLeod
Hera McLeod is a Washington, DC - based writer, speaker, thought leader and civil rights activist. She’s known for speaking out against the silence on topics related to safety of women and children, family court and Justice reform, fertility, parenting, and single parenthood. Her OPEDs have been published in The Washington Post, New York Times, Seattle Times, and Buzfeed and she’s appeared NBC, CBS, NPR, and FOX news as well as Crime Watch Daily and on an episode of the Discovery + series Citizen PI. She’s testified in front of state/local and federal legislation to advocate for the protection of children. Hera loves to travel with her two daughters Estela and Isabel. She continues to advocate for child safety in the memory of her son Prince.
