“View from the Pool” is a distinctive series of conversation podcasts between Poolview’s Robin McGloughlin and his guests, who uniquely have all been Lifeguards at some point in their career.
Jim Flatley started with St Helens Council as part of the Youth Training Scheme in the late 80's.
A few decades later Jim is very much part of the fixtures and fittings at Queens Park Health and Fitness Centre and still driving a change and modernisation program.
A staunch Evertonian , Jim takes us on his journey from YTS to Sheffield University and back to St Helens. Using the Covid Pandemic in a positive way for change - there is still plenty of mileage in the tank and lots to achieve.
