Once the invitation arrives, it’s a personal and clear one: acknowledge our need for salvation from God's approaching wrath, believe in the finished work of Jesus, and confess a new allegiance that becomes service to others.

I would like to believe that God has offered you a personal invitation to walk with him in a personal relationship, eternally. But to do that, you must accept that there is only one way to God, and that is through Jesus the Christ, his son, as the only way, the only bridge that crosses over to God. You can do this by praying a simple prayer that we call the ABCs of the gospel. Lord, I acknowledge, I admit that I need help every day. I am a sinner. I was born into sin. Lord, it's my heart that is sick. I cannot do this on my own. I sin against you daily. I admit that I repent. And now I'm believing that you. My friend, if you have just accepted Jesus into your life, congratulations, I'm celebrating with you just as heaven is again. The music, it is just a vessel. The icing on the cake that's not really needed. The invitation, Jesus, he is the cake and is all that will matter eternally for you, me, and the entirety of humanity. Remember, there is only one way to the Father, and in his grace, he has shared him with us to behold. Now go forth and share him with others with gratitude for such an awesome responsibility.
