It's time for another game episode! After the boys delivered such hits as "Which Celebrity Is Taller?," "Which Celebrity is Older?," and "Which Movie Made More Money?" they decided to bring you an even more arbitrary guessing game with "Which Movie has a Higher Rotten Tomatoes Score?"
With Sonny having won all three of the previous game episodes, Tom is entering today's game with a vengeance never before seen in this podcast. Sonny, on the other hand, is kind of hoping Tom will win one so people don't start to think he's cheating. But that doesn't mean he'll be pulling any punches as the boys dole out ten rounds of putting two movies head-to-head and seeing if the other host can guess which one has a higher critics score on Rotten Tomatoes. Will Sonny finally have to say "We'll be back" in an Austrian accent at the end of the episode? Or will Tom furiously storm off the podcast after losing four times in a row? As always, play along at home and see how you do. Or don't, we'd never know anyways.
There is, of course, the opening segment to handle first. And this one is a particularly remarkable, as Sonny and Tom discover the incredible and deeply sad story of Harold Russell, the war-veteran-turned-actor who won an Oscar for his role in "The Best Years of Our Lives" and then won a second Oscar for the same role! The boys discuss Russell's impressive and poignant life story and dedicate the episode to him before rudely discussing if the guy who was in "Kindergarten Cop" could also win an Oscar if he played an amputee war veteran in the same role. It's a wonder we don't have a 5-star rating on Spotify yet.
