Roberto Kraenkel holds a PhD degree in Physics and is a full-time professor at the São Paulo State University in Brazil. His research focuses on mathematical modeling in Ecology and Epidemiology. He has published over 100 articles over the last thirty years. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he has played a pivotal role in establishing one of the most respected Brazilian groups working on several aspects of the epidemic, The Brazilian Covid-19 Observatory.
